I have no idea what I am or what I’m supposed to be. Well, that’s not entirely true. I have a suspicion but those kinds of creatures haven’t existed for thousands of years.

My touch can be lethal, I can literally fade into the shadows, and the things I can do with my hands make me a danger to anyone who crosses my path.

Not to mention that I can smell and diagnose someone’s designation by the signature of their magic.

Weird, I’m aware.

However, my abilities set me in the limelight when I take up a case I have no business stuffing my nose in.
Missing Omega wolves, a witch on the run, and rumors of resurrecting one of the most powerful wolves to have ever lived put me on edge.

Unfortunately, that’s only the beginning.

Mates, the truth of my designation, and a whole whirlwind of secrecy are there at every turn. I think I might have found a clue but I’ve just stumbled into a dark and unforgiving world that wants not just my magic but my soul.

Broken is the first installment in an 18+ MMM shifter romantic suspense featuring a chameleon shifter, a witty MC, two basilisk mates, and a dark world of magic. Ends with an HFN.

Designation Broken is a MMM shifter romance,
It follows the story of Lev a PI investigating the kidnapping of omegas, to which he meets Rowan and Amand.

I have read many shifter romances but this one really interesting. The characters were likeable and I really like Lev, it has Insta-love which you can expect from shifter romances. For a quick read this book was a great start and got me excited for the rest of the series.

Definitely recommend for MMM shifter romance fans who enjoy a variety of shifter breeds.

This was a fun quick read! Definitely action packed with light spice. I really enjoyed diving into this world- it had unique twist on the magical world. I’ve read plenty of shifter books but none quite like this. I was definitely intrigued by a chameleon shifter! The plot was very good and kept me interested the entire book. Cant wait for more to come in the series!

The more I read N. Slater's books, the more I am obsessed with her work. Lev, Amand & Rowan were so perfect for each other! This was beautifully written the worldbuilding was fantastic. You have mystery, suspense, spicy scenes, shifters, then I highly recommend this!

I loved the dynamics between Rowan, Amand and Lev. It was a confusing and steamy insta lust for them all, and the way they protected and craved him was sweet and intense. It was fun seeing Lev figure out his identity, alongside working on the murder mystery. It's a creative world of shifters and magic, and excited for more of this series.

I liked this different spin on shifters and magic. I had a few niggles with the characters, plot, and the pacing but not enough to keep me from reading the next book in this series.

This story immediately sucked me in and refused to let me go. Leg is tough as nails, smart and a work horse. He is loyal, dedicated but alone. He is working a case for a mystery client, solving the disappearance of missing omegas. He finds one alive, several dead. But there’s a new one missing. With his rare abilities, he works hard to solve the case. When one of his rare abilities leads him to a building and two Basilisks, his world changes. Mates. But Basilisks are deadly and venomous, so he confused when his reaction to them wars within him and the venom doesn’t kill him. His own designation is unknown but maybe this is the final piece of info he needs to finally discover who and what he is. Amand and Rowan are basilisks, mates. They are deadly and dangerous, and when they discover a strange creature lurking about, they are confused between their own warring instincts. They all struggle with their attraction for each other. Things heat up between them, it’s so hot and steamy. They only have a few steamy moments but I am sure more are to come. The case is interesting and so intriguing. It’s a fun and intriguing adventure and I can’t wait for the next book. It is wonderfully written, as always for N. Slater. This was a unique paranormal mates book that had new creatures and a world full of mystery.

This was such a cute and fun read.

As always, N. Slater writes characters that are relatable and easy to fall in love with.
Lev is adorable, both tough and vulnerable, and his guys are so hot and protective, everyones dream partners!
Meanwhile the mystery part of the book is just perfect, intriguing and yet able to follow and deduct while reading.

I cant wait to see Lev learn more about his designation!

Nice start to a new series

I really enjoyed this first installment of a new mmm series. At the beginning I was not sure how I would like the characters, but by the end of the book I was warming up to them. I will definitely be reading the next book in the series! I really want to see what Lev is capable of and what he can learn from someone with the same designation as him.

If you thought you like the normal shifter romances of things like wolves or such, think again. Broken is top teir cause you are not getting the same old same old. I mean, come on, Basilisks!!!!! Not counting a few others, I'll leave a secret for other readers. Then you get crime solving, with some shady things going on. An MMM romance mixed in and BOOM you have a freaking fantastic book. I so wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars.

This novella was a prequel to a new series. It was an interesting read, an MMM shifter romance, where one of the men doesn't actually know his shifter designation.

The MMCs were great, I'm looking forward to learning more about them all. The story had mystery, shifters, a little suspense and spice, and set up the series to come. I look forward to reading it!

Cute, fun, and short. Lev, Amand, and Rowan are great. Their mates who arent mate but also are. The mystery aspect was exciting but easy to follow. I thought the story ended in a great note so I’m curious to see what the next book has in store.

They say the best things come in small packages, and Leviathan is no different.
If you like the idea of reading about uncommon shifters then this novella is for you.

Broken is a MMM, with that shifter insta-love, that has witty banter and is a fast read. I loved these characters and absolutely could not put it down. I can't wait for the rest of the series!!

PNR, fated mates, chameleon shifter, basilisk shifters, mystery and suspense, cops x PI, MMM poly, medium burn, low to medium heat.

There were so many new elements in this world that was new to me, and I loved the world-building. I usually stick to the traditional wolf or cat shifter, but reading about Lev as someone that didn't know his designation was fun too.

Also loved this new twist on fated mates. What Lev has with his basilisk mates, Rowan and Amand are a more dangerous version of that called Fatal Attraction and it sounds terrifying but that epilogue shows us a glimpse of hope that it doesn't have to be.

That twist in the case and finding out who was behind it was a little surprising, though I had a slight inkling as well but wasn't sure. The case wrapping up was very low angst, that it seemed anticlimactic after such an action-filled book.

I'm glad Lev, Rowan, and Amand's story isn't finished and will continue in more books, just like all the regular crime mystery series. Can't wait for the next one!

Loved this book but who wouldn’t, a Chameleon, two basilisks, witches and wolf shifters all in one story. We find Lev, a PI, working on a case of missing Omegas while trying to figure out his own designation. The police have asked him to quit working on the Omega case and when he refuses he is give the option to work with Amand & Rowan, two basilisks officers.

The book follows the three of them navigating their new dynamic while trying to solve the case.

Loved that it ended with a HFN and look forward to the next book in the series because Unicorns.

Enjoyed!

This book was interesting and different from what I’ve read about shifters. This book gives crime vibes with romance. It made for a nice read.

I really liked getting to know the MMCs and their unique relationship that started to build. I love how they weren’t looking for love but it’s slowly sliding itself in.

Overall, I am enjoying this series and can’t wait for the next book in the series! I am so excited to read more from N. Slater.

I’m completely hooked! This is unlike anything I’ve read before. It’s part mystery, part romance, with shifters and magic and a touch of spice. I was completely engrossed from the first page and now I’m invested in this story and seeing Lev and his mates find their happy ending.
It was a quick, easy read, with enough happening to keep me reading but not so much that I was lost. I read it in an afternoon and can’t wait to dive into the next one.

Lev is a PI who is looking into the kidnapping of omegas. When he comes across Rowan and Amand insta-attraction. However, also confusing as are they mates or something else.
All three are working to solve the kidnapping, struggling to come to grips with being mates and someone they trust isn't who they thought they were.
This is a good start to the series of Lev and his mates.

What a brilliant quick read... I absolutely loved Lev, he's so likable. You just want all the best things for him.

the insta love between the trio was quick like you would expect from a shifter, mates trope. The steam was quick and to the point and didn't over run the story.

I cant wait to find out more about the basilisks, they were introduced in the story but we don't know them.. looking forward to seeing where the story goes and learning there back stories.

This is not a big novel and more a novella and should be treated at such, you dont find out everything you would like to know but thats ok...more is coming.

Another great book by N. Slater. This is a short and quick novella but so different to other shifter romances. It is a MMM romance between a shifter that doesn't know what his designation is, and 2 basilisk shifters. It was short, sweet and spicy.

Médiocre pas l’ombre d’un MMM / dynamique pourrie Levianthan/Rowan ; Levianthan/amand c’est quoi ce putain de nom mais Amand/Rowan abonnée absent; pfff l’auteur nous dit qu’ils ne sont pas frères on a doit à un baiser entre eux et c’est pourrit. Un peu d’action vite fait/pas d’enjeux véritables au niveau de la relation ni développement excepté les parties de jambes en l’air borderline…
Tout du pourrit heureusement que je l’ai pris en abonnement Amazon aussitôt lu aussi vite retourné 😡 foutage de gueule. Je ne comprends pas les 4/5 étoiles n’importe quoi
Premier et dernier livre de l’auteur pour moi 🙂‍↔️ c’était une déception sans fin je m’attendais à mieux décidément les MMM en tant que sujets d’écriture sont mal écrits et développés pauvrement. C’est juste une partouze saupoudrée d’une romance harlequin à deux balles 🤬à peine viable
