This is easily my favorite anthology.
Every story was so unique, creative and left you either highly disgusted or terrified.
Or both.
I loved that there was no specific theme it kept me on the edge of my seat for what was coming next. The authors in this anthology are beyond talented. And I absolutely was shocked at some of these stories and truly sucked into others.
I highly recommend. PLEASE make sure you check your triggers but it's definitely something to check out!

Awesome book with many different sick and twisted stories. Some of the stories are absolutely disgusting and vile, and I love it. I definitely hope there will be another book after this one.

This was such a fun read, made by one of the sweetest horror communities out there! There are so many unique stories in this collection and twists I never expected. There is something for everyone in this anthology - I don't want to give any details away, so please, pick up a copy and find out for yourself! 🥰

An incredible group of authors! Each story was unique and pulled me in. This was a wonderfully disgusting collection of stories and I loved every second of it.

I thought this anthology had some amazing stories and each one of the stories were unique and creative in their own way. This was a fun read and had 10 great amazing authors in it!

🩸Book Review: Splatter Chatter Anthology Volume 1
All the proceeds of this book go to charity, so really buying this book is guilt free?! This is such a great collection and I truly commend Veronica, Karen, along with all the authors who put this together. This collection doesn’t follow a specific theme but offers a delightful mix of terror and gore, along with some unexpected twists.
Lets talk about some of my FAVES from this collection:
💀Primrose Orphanage By Z Martin - A vampire tale that balances just the right amount of gore to keep things entertaining without going overboard. It’s a strong opener that sets the tone for the rest of the collection.
💀Twisted Justice By A R Davis - This is a standout—imagine Saw on steroids. The plot twists and the satisfying ending... It’s a story that grips you and refuses to let go.
💀Fecal Pleasure By B.L Gorewhore - This is truly the grossest story I’ve ever read! 🤮
💀The Matinee By Kirby Denner - A fun and intriguing story unfolds, reminiscent of Blue Jay By Megan Stockton. The concept is fresh, and it leaves you wanting more—there’s a sense that this could easily be expanded into a longer narrative (an evening performance...), with more about the mysterious play and its victims.
💀The Devil Always Sheds Its Skin By Y.M Miller - This offers a wild ride—think demon exorcism but with a surreal, almost hallucinogenic twist. The author’s dark humor shines through, adding a unique flavour to the story.
💀Between a Croc and a Hard Place By M.E Smith - This rounds out the anthology with a fun and gruesome croc slasher story, delivering exactly what you’d expect from such a title.🐊🔪🩸

When this amazing splatter community gets together to write a book, there’s just no way I could ever imagine it being less than 5 stars and I of course was right!
Grotesque. Gory. Vile. And most of all, fun. Each author has their own style and brings some amazing little splatter nuggets to the table.
I am proud of this community and the indie authors within it, and I can’t wait for more stories from each and every author that is part of this anthology.
I truly loved all the stories but a special shout out to AR Davis, hers was my favorite! Twisted Justice was 🤌🏼👌🏼

A great introduction to so many new authors I will now hunt out to find more work from. And all for a great cause with the money from sales going to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
So many cool little shorts, some more gruesome than others, but if you love a good gore read where you question your moral compass and wonder if you would be a therapists dream for reading these stories with ease and enjoyment then this is defo for you.

I finally had the chance to read this anthology. These others absolutely brought the horror, the shock, and the nastiness that to me, makes a strong splatter punk story. I loved the originality as well as the homage paid in some of the stories. And the fact that the earnings from this anthology are going towards an important cause truly is the cherry on top. If you’re wanting a splatter punk anthology with pretty much all the triggers, this is the one for you.

AMAZING. I loved this book. I originally was reading a different anthology, but this caught my attention and held it. This anthology features 10 different authors and their stories as well as a forward written by Robert Essig. Each author has their own unique style. This book is dark, gruesome, depraved, horrific, and crazy! Just how I like my Splatterpunk books.

Inside Splatter Chatter there are 10 extreme horror and splatterpunk short stories showing off all of the author’s incredible ways of writing! There is possibly something inside here for everyone who likes or wants to read and get into extreme horror! Always check your trigger warnings!
I enjoyed every single one of these stories in one way or another. One of my personal favourites was Tinnitis by Sarah DeRosa. This one is about demon possession and the demon is like tinnitus where they are always there and you can’t quite get rid of them.
I also want to congratulate B.L Gorewhore for finding my limits and making me physically gag with their story fecal pleasure. That story is definitely going to stick with me for life!
