A Touch of Betrayal, is one of my absolute favorites that Melody has written. I fell in love with her writing style with A Touch of Heaven, by reading just one of her books you can tell she pours her heart and soul into her work. She never disappoints, and A Touch of Betrayal, is no different.
This is a dark romance series, that will have you losing all sense of time, getting lost within the pages of the book. Before, starting your journey into Asher and Harper’s life, please, check that shopping list. As some of the topics discussed in this book may not be for you. A Touch of Betrayal, in my opinion in the darkest of the 3 books in this series, and should be read in order. This story broke my heart, I felt the emotions of these characters to my core, as I can relate to Harper. Their story is far from over and I cannot wait to see their character growth by the end of their story.
Melody, is a queen of cliffhangers, I was not expecting the ending that we got. I finished, A Touch of Betrayal the other day and I cannot stop thinking about Asher and Harper. If you are looking for a story that has a coherent cohesive storyline, I highly recommend this book. Especially, if you like your MMC’s unhinged and morally gray.

Holy magnolias, this book hits hard right off the bat! From the first page, it pulls you into an emotionally intense and gripping journey that’s impossible to put down.

This book cannot be read as a stands-alone, Touch of Heaven and Touch of Sin part of the Unholy Bastards are a must-reads for the full backstory and to fully understand the depth of the characters’ relationships. These earlier books set the stage beautifully for Harper and Asher’s powerful journey.
Overall, this story is an emotional rollercoaster, blending heartache, healing, and scorching romance into an unforgettable read.

I had to take breather after reading this one…it was INTENSE. I knew from book one that I would absolutely love Asher if he would just drop his walls even a tad bit. I wasn’t wrong. Asher is everything Harper needs after she has been betrayed by everyone she loves…including him. But he doesn’t let up, he doesn’t let her fall into the darkness alone. He’s right there with her every step of the way. I also knew they would be good together if he would just let her in…and DAMEIT again I wasn’t wrong. But now Asher isn’t the one holding back…now that he’s willing to let her in…she isn’t a willing participant anymore after everything she’s been through…and he lied to her….they all lied to her…and she was the one who took the fall. She’s the one who is broken and bruised and may never return to who she once was. She’s always been lonely…but this is a whole other level of loneliness. She has no one, they all betrayed her…and now….okay yeah I’m done. Melody Mode is an amazing writer! I’ve been with her since book one and I’m telling you I couldn’t even tell this woman had never published a book before. She really is that good. I’ve read some authors in their first year of writing and they struggle with words and how to express what they really mean, a lot of the time, no all but a lot. Melody does not have that problem! She is amazing and I love her to pieces. I’ve never met her but I hope to one day!!!

If you have read this series i know youve been waiting un patiently for this just like me!! As usual i was hooked from page one!!! I absolutely adore the characters in this series … this one focuses on Harper and Asher … check your triggers because this one touches on subjects that may not be for everyone .. but melody has done it in such a respectful way it doesnt go into uncomfortable detail but you just know Harper went through some BS … i dont want to give any spoilers but this story broke my heart but its also beautiful to see the strength return and to see asher and harper work through some shizzle together …. Its a must read!!!! Melody did their story beautifully and i really felt a part of it!!! I cannot wait for the next installment

I got the privilege of reading this book prior to it's official release and what a privilege it was! Melody has done it again, making me anticipate the next book in the series like kids anticipate Santa on Christmas Eve. This book was full of passion, sadness, anger, joy... you feel all the emotions right along with the characters. I will say, Melody Mode has done a fine job with giving us a nail biting last few pages. I can't wait to see what's in store for the Unholy Bastards! Phenomenal!

An absolutely amazing read, Melody doesn't hold anything back so please read the trigger warnings. But if you love dark and twisted story's with lots of spice then this book and series is for you.
I love how Harper didn't immediately forgive everyone for her pain and was still a bad ass after everything she went through.
Asher, well what can I say, I have fallen more in love with him than I was before.

Our bad boy and the girl he has his eyes set on. These two are a push and pull. Never knowing when they will finally get together. But just one bad choice made Asher finally decide he is ready to give it his all. He wins our girl Harper and the fire these two bring. Yes hunny. Harper has always been confident; but now she doesn’t play when it comes to her man. She is in it and I would watch my back when it comes to her because you may not want to underestimate our friend. & as always, get ready to see our favorite friends. Melody will have you going through the emotions, but that ending! Hold on to your seats cause it’s about to become a bumpy ride.

If you loved A Touch Of Sin and A Touch Of Heaven then you will love this one too. This is Harper (and Asher's) story. Be prepared to cray as well learn what trauma Harper has endured and how she and Asher cope with it. The ending will leave you craving the next installment. Thank you for this lovely series that shows how ugly and how beautiful life can be Melody Mode.

Wow! What a turn of events. I’ve always loved Harper and Asher. I’m glad to see them together finally. But what a road to get there! You have to read the warnings on this book. I am not joking. This is dark and has some major dark events. Once again, there is a huge cliffhanger and I mean big. I cannot wait for the next book in the series! I have devoured this whole series. It’s one of my favorites.

I have been waiting months for this third book to release. I didn’t want to put it down. This series has so many unexpected turns and surprises. I did not expect the ending with this one. The anticipation of the fourth book is going to be like torture. I am learning I to embrace some darkness in my romance books. Please keep doing what you’re doing Melody cause you have me hooked and I will keep coming back to read your books!

This book has just about everything
Wow. So like most this book has been highly anticipated in The Unholy Bastards series. Harper and Ash had me hooked on finding out their story in the first two books and boy did Melody do them justice. So for those who want to read it make sure and check out the trigger warns beforehand but I personally thought that everything was so well written and how it came across was not in any way uncomfortable to me .. but still check beforehand.
Honestly for me this is my new favourite of the series. We know why everything is already in play from the first 2 books because of what happened to Asher’s sister, but we also get to see the more vulnerable side to him and wow did I love it. What happened to Harper and what she went through obviously puts her into a very dark place and the change in her is immediate. Ash is with her every step of the way desperate to make sure that she doesn’t lose herself completely. The connection that these two have is just sublime….. but fans of Melody will know she is an evil genius of a woman and leaves you wanting more and with that ending I was basically screaming NOOOO !!! I want more now lol

Okay, seriously, buckle up, because "A Touch of Betrayal" by Melody Mode is an absolute wild ride and I am so here for it! From the moment I cracked it open, I was completely hooked. The story just grabs you and refuses to let go, pulling you through so much excitement and a bunch of twists you absolutely won't see coming. It gets pretty dark in places, which I loved – it just adds to all the tension! Melody is a genius at keeping you guessing, and honestly, my heart was pounding through most of it! Plus, the romance... oh wow. It was everything you'd expect from Melody and then some – seriously steamy and full of that delicious tension that just made the whole ride even better.
But seriously, CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT ENDING?! My jaw is still on the floor. Melody pulled off one of those twists that just makes you gasp out loud. It's totally her signature move – completely shocking and leaves you absolutely desperate for the next book. If you live for a read that keeps you on the edge of your seat and delivers a knockout punch, you need "A Touch of Betrayal" in your life. Just be warned, you'll be counting down the seconds until the next one drops!

Absolutely love this book.I was looking forward to see what happened between Asher and Harper and this did not disappoint.
Harper is the best friend of Brooke and Nate, who is in love with Asher but he does everything in his power to push her away. Asher has his own demons to deal with, and believes he is not worthy of Harpers love even though he loves her.
Until Harper is kidnapped Asher is now having to face his feelings for Harper, however Harper believes if she hadn’t been kidnapped then he would still be pushing her away. I love how they deal with all the trauma they both been through, however helping each other allows them to heal.
I loved how this was ending and felt happiness for all of them, Chase, Brooke, Jax, Nate, Asher and Harper and then BANG it all gets turned upside down again with a twist I did not see coming. I am now hanging on the cliff waiting to find out what happens.

“A Touch of Betrayal” completely pulled me back into this world, and I loved getting to experience the story through both Asher and Harper’s POV after the ending of the last book. Seeing their perspectives added so much depth to the story and made every moment feel even more intense and personal.
This was definitely a tougher, more emotional read, especially following everything Harper goes through. Her journey is raw and heartbreaking at times, so I’d definitely recommend checking the trigger warnings before diving in. But that emotional weight also made the story incredibly powerful and impossible to put down.
And can we talk about that ending?! Melody might just be the queen of cliffhangers. Just when you think you can breathe again, boom. I’m already desperate to see what happens next.
If you love emotional, character-driven stories with high stakes and addictive twists, this one is absolutely worth the read
This was definitely a tougher, more emotional read, especially following everything Harper goes through. Her journey is raw and heartbreaking at times, so I’d definitely recommend checking the trigger warnings before diving in. But that emotional weight also made the story incredibly powerful and impossible to put down.
And can we talk about that ending?! Melody might just be the queen of cliffhangers. Just when you think you can breathe again, boom. I’m already desperate to see what happens next.

OMG!! OMG!! WTF just happened??!! This is a continuation of Harper & Asher's story & it was freaking awesome!! This picks up where the last one left off & Harper has been through some terrible trauma. Asher is trying to help her pick up the pieces, but there's a lot of feelings going on between them. There's so much happening in the background & there's a lot of things that come to light. It was so great catching up with the other characters in this series, but it ends on a helluva cliffy!! Harper is trying to put herself back together again, but the things she went through have changed her irrevocably. Please keep in mind, this is not an easy read, she has been through hell & back & reading about it (in flashbacks) is not easy. I loved the storyline & the spice! Highly recommend this series & author!

Wow, just wow what a book , loved the first 2 books in this series but this one blew me away , the emotions I went through while reading were huge, I cried lots !!! My heart physically hurt for Harper and all she went through , Asher , well it was great to finally get into his head and see why he did the things he had done to Harper and to others , it was heartbreaking to hear his story but Melody managed to put our poor readers hearts back together, well for a short while at least, beautifully written and a well deserved 5 stars and im now impatiently waiting for book 4 .

This time it focuses more onto Asher and Harper.. these guys were meant to be together but having their full back stories and see just what happens next for them is just brilliant.
These guys hurt my heart at so many places of the story it was unreal! So many emotions while reading it was like being on a rollercoaster.
And that ending?? Yet again a fab ending that leaves you desperate for more and to find out just what is next for those Unholy Bastards!

A Touch of Betrayal is far from a final culmination of this series, and Melody has brutally left us on a cliffhanger. It's such an intricate, dark romance that is both well written and plot heavy. I still haven't got closure from the characters' storylines, and they deserve to find peace after everything they've been through, so I really hope this comes in book 4. Harpers story was heartbreaking; please check the trigger warnings for sensitivity. That woman deserves all the good stuff, but I dont know if she will be able to escape the darkness deep inside her now. Great series. Well done. 👏

OMG WTF!!!! I am not ok right now at all!!!! This has been such an emotional roller coaster of a read for me and it leaving me feeling this way is no surprise. I am absolutely speechless and my heart is so heavy for Harper for everything she has gone through and is still going through. I need so much more of this story and I need it like yesterday! Melody Mode Ma’am you have some writing to get too lol.

More twists and turns for this book. Told in Asher and Harper’s perspective this time. That poor girl. I freaking loved (as twisted as it was) the bleach scene. I just can’t with the end though. Chloe??? If anything permanent happens to Asher I will be devastated. Book 4 needs to come asap!

Harper’s story is so heartbreaking. But her ability to get through it and really shine makes her amazing! Asher is so sweet and gentle with her! The ending is a cliff hanger and I can’t wait for the next one!!!

I'm sitting on my couch, barely holding back tears after spending the entire night completely engrossed in this extraordinary book! No words seem adequate to express the profound beauty woven throughout its pages. This story has quickly climbed to the top of my list as one of the most heart-wrenching yet simultaneously uplifting narratives I have ever experienced. I can already tell it's going to linger in my mind and heart for a long time to come. It's been an emotional rollercoaster, taking me through a vast spectrum of feelings that resonate deeply!
