Treacherous Twins: Loyal

Loyal is the definition of doin’ me and mindin’ my business. He’s an up and coming tattoo artist in Diamond Cove, thanks to Chicago he’s getting ready to open his own tattoo shop, and he has a two party “harem” on speed dial when he wants female companionship. Life is good for one third of the Trent Triplets until shyt starts to get complicated with his lil situation with Swahili and Kai.
When she finds out her boyfriend isn’t the man she thought he was, Avani has to make some difficult choices. But, her decision to do the right thing puts her life in danger. For her own safety, Avani goes on the run, cuts off all communication with her family, and changes her identity. Starting over isn’t easy but, to commemorate her new life, Avani decides to get a tattoo. This puts her directly in the line of sight of Loyal Trent.

The worst of the series thus far. I started with Book 6. Chicago...lawd Geezus, yessssuh! That man could turn me every which way but loose. Then I read Book 1 (Truce's story) - great! Justice's book was next and that one was pretty good. I was really looking forward to Loyal's book. What a massive disappointment.
Avani/Ryan was literally stuck on stupid. The fact that she even remotely entertained any attention from Loyal was crazy. Talk about walking wide eyed into a messed up situation. She couldn't even make it make sense to herself. Loyal was anything but - just a horrible character. It's one thing to let women know what it is, and date two women at the same time with full transparency to all involved, but when that mess starts going left, know when to cut your losses, Sir! The fact that I thought he had already officially broken up with the first two women when he invited Avani's dumb self to meet his entire family (mind you, he had never introduced the others) and then What?? First of all, if he'd already put Kai and Swa on pause, why did he even invite them AND invite Avani? Second, why did she ask if they would be there and then attend anyway? Just a bunch of people stuck on next level stupid. Not to mention,

I swear I wanted to abandon this book at 56% but I didn't want to miss any info for upcoming books, so I just started skimming. I skipped Avani's chapters altogether. I had zero respect for, or interest in, her and this is coming from someone who looked at Lauren with Justice's crazy situation and said 'ah meannn' lol. I caught enough of what happened with her ex to get the gist and skipped the rest. It's lame when the featured couple is the least interesting part of the book. It gets better towards the end, but it's only because the rest of the family is featured.

This whole series been pressure and Loyal was no damn different.
Loyal the self proclaimed noncommittal polyamory prince was convinced that he was not the relationship type. Had absolutely no intention of settling down. At the peak of his situationship with two women, Loyal becomes increasingly aggravated by their relentless pursuits to make him choose and lock one of them down. Standing firm, he continues to ignore their antics. Even with love blossoming all around him, Loyal was ten toes down on not wanting a traditional relationship until…..
Avani literally ran into Diamond Cove trying to escape her past with zero intentions of falling into another relationship or dropping her guard for a man she didn’t really know. She had a plan and it did not include love. She was in survival mode but still wanted to experience some sense of normalcy until….
I hope Natisha gives us more. These triplets are something else.

Loyal Might Be My Favorite
I love me some twins but baby triplets now that’s really it. It something about how the brothers all kind of feel for each of the fmcs like it was fated mates situation that does it for me. Raynor has a really fun and easy to read writing style. I appreciated how she adds heavier stuff into a story without making it so graphic and triggering. This is a really good series.

I must've read a different book because loyal was wrong as hell throughout this whole book. She kept kissing this man lips like other women didn't just have him five minutes ago...hell no. She didn't answer his calls, but he still walked around like nothing was happening. How do you know something bad could be happening to her and then go on a trip with another woman.
Loyal can eat dirt cause the only brother that seems worth being with is Truce ✌🏾. I can't even read the next books because those men make me wanna throw up.

felt rushed at the end
I enjoyed this book but not as much as the others. It feels like this book was written like a slow burn when it shouldn’t have been. And The ending felt rushed.

Loyal was for the streets but he was honest and upfront about what it was and wasn’t. He wasn’t looking for a relationship or commitment, he just wanted to enjoy the company of women with no strings attached. The women all thought they could change his mind over time, meanwhile other women were willing and ready to be added to his roster.
Avani had big secrets to hide - the life and death kind. She was on the run and there was no room for relationships or entanglements when she was trying to keep her head down and survive.
These two had immediate chemistry, and it just flowed effortlessly. But neither one of them were looking for love.
There’s no where to hide when love calls your name. You catch feelings, adjust life, thoughts are consumed with this person, move differently, evaluate relationships and your heart opens up.They had some real obstacles to overcome and it wasn’t easy.
I appreciated Loyals honesty and I understood why Avani got caught up. Them triplets are irresistible.

Woah…… I had a blast reading this book. Loyal is sooo cute to Ryan and I loved how he found his way out the streets lol. There isn’t a book I haven’t loved from Ms. Natisha Raynor. Might be the first series I’ve wanted to finish completely!!!

I love this series! Loyal, Justice and Truce are the triplets with the parents from Hell! Wise, Chicago ? and Simone shouldn't be allowed to raise dogs much less humans!
Loyal is juggling way too many women but his attitude is - he's grown and if the women don't like it, they can step! But payback is a b$$ch. and the woman he's finally falling for, is not what or who she seems. And there's danger on the way!

Avani is on the run from her past, and my heart broke when it finally caught up to her. What she went through was traumatic 😔 but she still found a way to press forward.
Loyal and Avani don’t even realize they want to be together until they already are — and honestly, watching that unfold was hilarious and so sweet.
I hope Natalie finds love again 💔 she deserves it.

I gave the book three stars because when I looked it up to see if it was a series, the labeling wasn't correct or whatever, and as I get into the book, I'm noticing the way they're mentioning characters makes me to know that there were some books I missed. Then, when I went searching, I had to look through her catalog to figure it out, and by then, I didn't want to stop reading the book to go back to the others.
I enjoyed Loyal and Avani's path to a relationship and his honesty from the get-go that he wasn't into being in a relationship. Finding out what Avani was running from straight surprised me, and the two different daddies who were twins fathering triplets is mind-blowing, but I do think I read about that happening with some twins.

Oh, Loyal!!!
I have been swooning over Loyal for so long I just knew he was going to have my whole heart, and he does!
He is way more gentle than I was expecting and I am not mad at it. He's so emotionally intelligent. Dealing with his new family, his "twin", his harem and with Ryan. He is just everything.
I thoroughly enjoyed this final book of the series and I will be overjoyed with a few spinoff, if that should come to pass
Chicago, Daddy Wise, and even that raggedy mama.

Well Loyal’s story did not disappoint. I definitely can’t wait to read more from this set of triplets family adventures and drama. I just know there’s more to come or at least a quick Novella for Natalie. I think the characters and the situation just like in the previous books were very relatable. I could vividly picture women who reminded me of Simone and Paris and the two women that loyal dealt with. I reckon the treacherous twins series.

OMG Ryan barely got away from Dino. Lawd I would have done the same thing I couldn’t imaging being with someone so inhumane to sale other humans. But when she met Loyal and got her tattoos I knew it was going to be a love connection. I hated how her cousin Natalie got shot and lost her man Mario. That part really sucked. I’m glad Dino and his brother got jail time and Ryan could finally be free and not live on the run with a manic after her. Loyal had too many women that were welling to do anything he needed a real woman like Ryan in his life. So that’s exactly what he got.

I truly feel like Ryan/Avani is one of the dumbest characters I’ve ever read about. Loyal was a walking bright red flag. She even acknowledges that he’s a red flag, yet she still gave it up. We’re supposed to believe that she’s so different. She cooking a man some food on multiple occasions, who was still sleeping with other women. LIKE GIRL STAND UP!
I despise men like Loyal so I hated his character even more by the end. He really just wanted to have his cake and eat it too. Yeah he was honest about his intentions with the women he was sleeping with. But you can’t be saying you don’t want a relationship, but still do relationship stuff with them. Then he wanted to act shock when both women caught feelings and started doing the most. LIKE SIR, ARE YOU DUMB???
I feel like if this story was little longer, then maybe the two characters could have redeemed themselves by the end. PROBABLY NOT! Both characters were doing too much dumb shit and not enough learning from their mistakes.
I’m supposed to believe that “Loyal” who’s making a lot of money from tattooing and bartending couldn’t skip out on that trip. I thought he was big balling, why you even still go. Just for him and ex fling to both be miserable. OHHHH, and don’t get me started on that fight at the end. That added absolutely nothing to the plot. If anything that would be another reason why Ryan should leave his ass. She just went through a traumatic experience and now she fighting his ex woman in his tattoo shop.
I’m not fighting no woman over a man that got a blowjob in the club from a stranger who was on ecstasy!!! NOPE!
It’s really rare that I actually don’t want the two love interest to end up together. They would have been better off staying friends.

Yeah he was honest about his intentions with the women he was sleeping with. But you can’t be saying you don’t want a relationship, but still do relationship stuff with them. Then he wanted to act shock when both women caught feelings and started doing the most. LIKE SIR, ARE YOU DUMB???
I feel like if this story was little longer, then maybe the two characters could have redeemed themselves by the end. PROBABLY NOT! Both characters were doing too much dumb shit and not enough learning from their mistakes.
I’m supposed to believe that “Loyal” who’s making a lot of money from tattooing and bartending couldn’t skip out on that trip. I thought he was big balling, why you even still go. Just for him and ex fling to both be miserable. OHHHH, and don’t get me started on that fight at the end. That added absolutely nothing to the plot. If anything that would be another reason why Ryan should leave his ass. She just went through a traumatic experience and now she fighting his ex woman in his tattoo shop.
I’m not fighting no woman over a man that got a blowjob in the club from a stranger who was on ecstasy!!! NOPE!
It’s really rare that I actually don’t want the two love interest to end up together. They would have been better off staying friends.

There’s Love For Everyone
There’s a time and place for everything and relationship is not exempt! When something is meant it will happen! Life is based on communication and without it you’ll do nothing but assume and we all know what assuming can do - Let’s chat!
Being three books in I’ve learn each bother. From youngest to oldest, starting with Justice. Ya boy was the brother that didn’t sugarcoat anything. Whatever is on his mind, he’s expressing it. Truce is the slightly one and about his business as well as family. Then there’s Loyal, being the oldest he wanted nothing but the best for the only brother he knew about his most of his life until the secrets revealed he had another brother and he was a one of three. He was the brother that wanted to make sure everyone eats and doing well with life. All three is about that life if needed. One thing for sure they were their BROTHER’S KEEPER!
Loyal was the brother that was like, I’m not settling and don’t want a relationship! He was good with dating and being honest with those he dated and keeping it 💯 at all times about not wanting to be in a relationship! See this here I can live with! He was the type that wanted a woman that can keep his attention, have conversations, motivated and about something 🥹 and let’s not forget have fun! Neither one of the ladies offered that! They were in competition on who can lock him down and that was their mistake 🫣. What he didn’t expect was for one of his customers being the one that did all of that and more - Ryan aka Avani! What started out as friendly encounter changed when the heart started changing! Listen, I didn’t think it would develop as quickly as it did between him & Ryan, but it did and I am here for it 🥰. When the truth was exposed regarding Ryan, Loyal didn’t know how to handle nor address in my opinion because he didn’t know how to handle his feelings. These are feelings he never experienced before so he became more guarded and reacted 😔. The day he received a call about Ryan where about, Loyal life shifted and listen my guy put them big boy draws on and stopped fighting his feelings as well as his heart 🥹!Once all was said and done the heart wants what it wants and normally gets it! I’m here for it 🥰!
Ryan aka Avani, my girl! Now until I understood her reason for uprooting, I keep an eyebrow raised! However, she didn’t seem as if she was a threat but something was off! Who would have thought getting a tat would affect her life, but in a good way - Loyal 🥰.. I will not lie, I didn’t want her with Loyal at all at first! As time went on and I peeped how she was moving, I realized that she wasn’t grimy at all, just guarded and scared 🙃! However, when she meet Loyal and their interaction had me like, they are good together. Even though she thought she would end up fallen or giving in to his life style, she stood tall on what she would or wouldn’t accept 🤏🏾. With not fallen for his dating life, she intrigued him more! But when he showed interest in her love for golf, I think that’s when everything changed for her🥹. Oh can’t forget the desert after the dinner date🤪! When I say the chemistry is there, it’s there! When things that happen in the dark starts to come to light, the lack of communication and truth surface, everything starts to crumble🫣😔! With Ryan past resurfacing and she confronted everything changes and danger surfaces! Let me say, I don’t and didn’t care for Ryan ex Dino. He was just dirty, grimy and trifling! She did what needed to be to be done as a woman and I believe she would do it again, I know I would! What she didn’t expect was to be in that situation herself, but the power of prayer is amazing🥰! Once the danger was handled, she was able to be honest with Loyal, the way that man catered to her 🥹🥰! I’ll just say that I’m now loving them down.
Simone once again had me 😡! She just a lost cause and I hope she gets it together! If she doesn’t she’s not going to be ready for what Serenity brothers - her sons! They are not playing games behind her! Ya girl is selfish and the only concern in my opinion is herself!
Oh real quick- they better stop playing with Chicago🫣! I don’t know what Paris thought was going to happen when the truth was exposed, but Chicago wasn’t the one! With all this said, I’m enjoying this series down and I’m now headed over to Wise story. I pray this man redeems himself!

Non Committal
I appreciate the way this book was written. This one was truly centered around Loyal and Avani. I liked that we only had their pov because it was a lot in the previous books even though the story was good. Loyal was a piece of work. He was living his best life refusing to be in a relationship, but not lying so these heauxs had to get with it or get lost. Women really know how to be foolish over a man. He had these women willingly going against their own boundaries. When he met Avani, they definitely had some chemistry. However, I appreciated that they took some time to get to know each other. Loyal seemed smitten with her before he was able to verbalize it. He was so busy being non committal that he was shook when he realized he wanted Avani to be committed to him.
Avani had moved to Diamond Cove to escape a terrible situation she was in with the man she loved. However, he was definitely not who she thought he was. After that relationship she was hesitant on jumping into another one, but she definitely felt a way about Loyal despite the messiness surrounding them. Whew this was a LOT again, but I enjoyed Loyal falling. He didn't see it coming and the playa from the Himalayas was deep in his feelings. Had him questioning every damn thing.
I appreciated that the brotherhood was still going strong and I love how they supported each other and their little sister Serenity.
The author got lost at times with the names. Definitely could have used some editing. I was still left with a few questions....What happened with Shalaine, she was sick then popped up pregnant? Did Dino and Alex get sentenced under the jail? Who did that to Mario and Natalie? Despite all that I did enjoy the story.

Thought I Would Like This More
I was really looking forward to this book, especially considering the fact that I really did enjoy Truce and Justice’s story, (even though Justice is one of my least favorite characters). However, Book 3 fell flat for me, even though I did enjoy things like the Triplets back and forth banter. Those moments were cute.
Loyal was on the same type of time that Justice was on, the only difference is, he didn’t have his two women pregnant. There’s a big difference between being single and dating and then being in a relationship without actually being in one and that’s what Loyal did throughout the entire book and it was annoying. It was even more annoying considering the fact that Avani still wanted this man, knowing all the baggage that he brought with him. He was scared of commitment for no real reason and he had 2 different “girlfriends.” The red flags should have been flying. It honestly felt like Lauren and Avani were both settling and I hate that for them.
Avani’s story got real dark real quick, which I didn’t mind. I was interested in her backstory because I wanted to know what she was running from, so this part did not disappoint. People talk about Wise but Dino is literally the damn devil, him and his brother. Speaking of Avani, Loyal did way too much when the truth came out about her. Him being afraid of commitment then him doing the most about Avani’s real name… yeah, I really wasn’t feeling him after that.

I Got My Baby
You all know that I love when a couple ends up pregnant😂😂 I’m with Loyal, I want Ryan to have twins or triplets. Loyal and Avani/Ryan were attracted to each other from the beginning and they had a good vibe and conversations while she was being tattooed. Kai and Swa tried to do whatever they could and even joining together for a threesome to get Loyal but his attention and mind was on that type of time with Ryan/Avani. It’s crazy that Dino and Alex was setting up young girls to traffic/sale them and how Dino sent Ryan/Avani to that house thinking that she was going to be cool with seeing three young girls shackled to beds/kidnapped. I don’t blame Ryan/Avani for freeing them and letting them go. It wasn’t the wisest decision for Ryan/Avani to join that golfing club especially when she found them on social media because it led to Dino finding her unfortunately. I think the young girls went to law enforcement and that ended up being Ryan/Avani’s saving grace. I like that we still got glimpses of Truce, Justice, Wise, and Chicago with their spouses especially Wise’s wedding. I don’t have a favorite book out of the three because I like all three but Truce is my favorite brother. I can’t wait for Wise’s book to drop!
