I was bout ready to shake Lacey on page 2!! Girl….. How are you so smart, but so stupid when it comes to yo man? 😤 Ughhh…. This ninja had red flags flying, dancing, and slapping her in the face, but she still couldn’t catch a clue. She had an inkling that he was cheating but just ignored that ish. When she got embarrassed with the truth, it broke her. 😥
Not for long said Wizdom. Already having a brief interaction with Lacey, he was trying to see what was up with her. Seeing her at his nephew’s party, crying over a bum ninja had him stepping up the timeline.
For a gangsta Wizdom was fun-loving, kind, and took his time getting to know Lacey. She stood not once chance to resist him. Cute short. Ready to jump into the next one to see what they got going on.

Wizdom and Lacey are so cute together. I really hope that they work out because after what Lacey endured with her ex, she needs some happiness in her life. Wizdom came just in time to be Lacey’s savior. I can tell he about to give her another reason to cry…and that’s from being happy. Wizdom is a real ninja, he keeps a smile on Lacey’s face and he is there to remind her that she deserves to be happy, seen, loved properly and F**ked even better.

Just finished my first book by Nai and wow, it did not disappoint! Lacey and Wiz had such a wild, serendipitous start. The way they met, then bumped into each other again just hours later in a completely different place? Total fate. It’s a sweet, feel-good story that left me smiling. Already excited to dive into the next one.

I really enjoyed this cute but short story. I appreciate the characters acting their age. I appreciate Lacey knowing her worth and standing on business when it came to her ex, I loved the adult conversations between her and Wiz, I loved that the author didn't drag out the sex scenes, she gave just enough to make it sexy but leave a lil to the imagination. I gave it 4 stars because the ending was very abrupt. Like it just ended lol. I would love to hear more from this couple.

Quick, light read. Can read it within 2-3 hours.
Umm, I don't know what it is about the books nowadays. This book and the sequel could have just been one book, to make it complete. This book lacks dimension and layers. The dialogue is very strong and conversational. The author should help write screenplays/scripts if she doesn't already. She is EXCELLENT with narration and dialogue, in a conversational and hood style. However, this book and the sequel had more potential. I think the pacing was great, but this story is not really memorable. This book could have been elevated in many ways.

Such a cute read! I loved the banter between both characters! As well as Cherish because she didn’t care what came out her mouth.

I want you…BAD!
3.5⭐️ Quick fast paced read. To say that Wizdom was intrigued by Lacey, he was on her bad! It was even foreign to him as to why. Once the opportunity full presented itself, the chemistry between them was undeniable. I’m happy Lacey was able to find her worth despite “history”.

This was a quick little novella and I was enjoying it… until that ending came out of nowhere. 😩 No real “happy for now,” it just kinda stopped. I get it’s part of a bigger series, so hopefully we’ll see some updates for Lacy and Wizdom later on.
Overall, it was still a solid read that kept me interested, but that abrupt ending definitely knocked it down a notch for me.

I enjoyed this novella. Lacey kept allowing her trifling boyfriend to play in her face. He was the type that wanted her at home while he ran the streets. She found out he had a baby. Her friend brother had been watching her and finally asked her out.

I really was entertained by this short read but Lacey in the beginning my girl got it together though. 🫠 Ashlynn and Cherish are the friends we need in life especially when it comes to keeping it real. Wiz was a nice touch to Lacey. 😍

Why was this book so good! I loved that it was so short so I could read it again. The meeting, attraction, relationship development, along with Wizdom’s persistence has me sprung!! I hope Nai’s other books feel this good because I’m RUNNING to read more!

This was a short cute read. I loved Wiz down and loved how he was prone on what he wanted without forcing it or making Lacey uncomfortable in any way. He said I ain't the next man but I am HIM for you and that was that. Great read.
