This is a reread!

The series overall, 5 ⭐️’s. This first book, 4.5 ⭐️’s!

This is my 2nd fav MMC by this author (the first being Isaac). Nikolai is the epitome of touch her and 💀, morally grey, couldn’t care less about the consequences, and “if he wants to, he will” vibes. He is the Russian Mafia Prince and walks around the world knowing that he is pretty much untouchable.
The FMC, Justine, is determined, won’t let her fears overtake her, sharp, smart, loyal, but has an insecurity to her over a very traumatic moment in her life that the MMC is doing everything he can to help her build from and out from under.

This book is fast paced, but so good and so worthwhile.

If you’re looking for a dark mafia romance with an overarching, delicious plot, you’ve found your next read!

This is the second book that I have read by this author and I wasn’t a fan of either one. This is a case of it’s not you it’s me. I went into this book knowing that it was a multi book series but this was so slow and drawn out. The book is almost 300 pages long and I pushed through to around 72% when I just started skimming in order to get to the end. I more than likely not read any of the other books in this series. Ehh but who knows. I like to torture myself sometimes.

DNF, gave up after a few chapters, the FMC has no personality just her physical attributes ! The MMC is just awful, cocky and arrogant. Awful storyline and I wasn’t keen on the writing style. Not for me.
