December 31, 2004 (A Plot Twist Short Story) by Bethany Turner

(The answer is yes. See? Simple.)
Sparks at Midnight by Hayley Elliott
Recently single, Rachel is planning a New Year's in—full of junk food and rom coms. Until her roommate (and brother's best friend) uses her weaknesses against her—AKA his wavy hair and dimples, and he convinces her to go out. With him. And five of his firefighter brothers. Rachel's kept her secret crush for Derek contained, but tonight his teasing feels more like flirtation. Maybe the last night of the year is exactly the perfect time to dispense with that 'little sister' image Derek's always pegged her with. Starting with a sexy sequined dress...
The Off-Script Kiss by Jessica Kate
Never in a million years did Lauren Taylor expect to wind up kissing Jordan Blake. Especially like this—on a movie set, in New York, as a part of the big-screen adaptation of her romantic comedy novel. Jordan's not just another Aussie who made it big in Hollywood—he was once her secret crush. He's her younger brother's best friend. And he's the man who publicly ridiculed her book in a video that went far more viral than her sales ever did. Everything on a movie set is fake—except for Lauren's anger. And, despite everything, there's still that attraction to Jordan that she just can't snuff out. Will the magic of New Year's Eve turn this loathing into love?
The Secret New Year's Kiss by Kelsey D. M. Anderson
A small-town bookstore owner is still confused on who exactly gave her a kiss on New Year's Eve just ten years ago. But then an old friend walks back into her shop, and her life...
Warm your heart with these six sweet love stories today!
A New Year’s Kiss, a short romance collection by nine authors, is one of the most consistent of such collections I’ve read. Each short includes—you guessed it!—a New Year’s Eve kiss. I’d already enjoyed longer works by about half of the authors, but I am glad I’ve been introduced to the remainder of the authors, whose stories I loved too. Prompted by individual authors’ newsletters, I downloaded a copy for free, which the authors have referred to as a limited-time offer, so maybe this will be available for retail sale soon.
Happy New Year! This was a fun collection to receive and read before New Year's Day! All the stories were short and easy to read. Each one was full of life and love! I truly enjoyed reading and seeing what situation each character was placed in. How they would get their New Year’s kiss. All the authors wrote sweet tender stories that will leave your heart longing for more. The stories flowed smoothly and drew the readers in. These nine authors are wonderful storytellers. Amy Renaud, Angela Ruth Strong, Bethany Turner, Hayley Elliott, Janine Rosche, Jessica Kate, Kelsey D. M. Anderson, Sarah Monzon, and Toni Shiloh, have all become authors I will read over and over again. They are all wonderful authors with delightful writing skills that will bring a chuckle to your heart and soul. I highly recommend you pick this collection up and have fun dreaming of a New Year’s Eve Kiss! I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
The entire collection is absolutely wonderful! Each story is short, but each packs its own punch right in the feels!
Of course, the stories are centered around New Year’s Eve and the traditional kiss (I’ve actually never experienced this—go figure!) in very sweet and unique moments.
From lost love to new love to second chance love to internet love—you’ll find it all here in A New Year’s Kiss. And you’ll find new authors to love and read in the new year!
While I love long novels to build character depth, sometimes I want something quick to pass the time. All the short stories are beautifully authored with the perfect build ups and satisfying conclusions to the story lines. Great to read at any time of the year but love the New Year’s theme.
This book was the perfect way to ring in the new year!
I’m always up for a holiday related book, so I excited for this new years themed collection. The fact that this included stories from romance authors I love (plus some new-to-me authors) made it even better. I enjoyed how each author brought something different with tropes, settings, and characters careers. These short stories were the perfect length at about 20 pages and included a new years kiss or two!
*I downloaded this for free through the authors’ newsletters when it first came out.
A New Year's Kiss has six cute short romances in this anthology by new to me authors. I do look forward to reading more books by them since each romance drew me in and I kept turning the pages to see what would happen next. The stories were set in different locales but all had New Year's as its theme. All had a beginning, middle and end with enough depth to keep my interest.
These short stories were full of fun, romance, and joy. I was introduced to some new authors who I will read more of as well as enjoying some familiar authors. A great book when you need a short break from reality as you can enter any of these 6 wonderful worlds for romance and fun
6 fun romances highlighting New Year's Eve. Each of these stories offers a different setting and special couple that find each other in time to ring in the New Year. Love these short stories. Discovered new to me authors and enjoyed stories from favorites #Angela Ruth Strong & #Bethany Turner. Definitely worth the read.
I really enjoyable grouping of romance short stories. This is great for when you do not have time to focus on a full length book, but want a little escape from real life. I read a couple stories together and then picked it up when I had time again. The stories warmed my heart and make me believe that there is someone out there for everyone, sometimes right under your nose, undiscovered.
I grabbed this book on NYE and finished it 35 minutes into the New Year. I thought all of the novellas were sweet and enjoyable! Short read, but well worth it!!
This was such a sweet book. Six different New Year’s stories by six different authors. None of the stories took very long to read. Perfect for the busy holidays when there are just a few minutes to read. I really enjoyed reading this book.
I started this on New Year’s Eve and finished it today. It was so much fun! It was six short stories all centered around New Year’s kisses. They were sweet and clean and heartfelt. A great pick me up and although centered around one day, they can be enjoyed any time!
This is a fun collection of six very short stories where all the characters finally figure out by midnight on new years eve that they like each other, sweet, clean and swoony.
I truly enjoyed these stories that all have New Year's Eve in their stories. All nine stories are fun, enjoyable, romantic and quick reads. A very fun read any time during the year.
This is a fun collection of shorter stories set mostly on New Year’s Eve. I enjoyed each one! The stories can be read in any order and as many in a sitting as you wish. This is a great introduction to several authors.
Such a fun collection of short reads by various amazing authors. As you guessed it, each short read has romance and a New Year's Eve kiss. I was given a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
