Final de mierda

i didn't wanna leave a review for this, but after marking this volume as read to make sure my 2024 reads list stays accurate, all my frustrations returned.

i only read sb because i thought i would need it to understand the yuri sidestory. while the sidestory was fun and deserved the love it got online, i hated sb and had to force myself to finish it. i didn't want to leave with unanswered questions after investing so much time in it, but it felt like i was watching a trainwreck happen. the art and character design was gorgeous, but their personalities were absolutely horrible. the story was a toxic mess that kept getting worse. while i usually don't mind morally grey/complex characters, i hated the mcs here and their evil choices. duna and cha were the worst, but i even started to want them to end up together so they could be trash together, because their chemistry was lowkey better than anyone else's. like they matched each others freak perfectly lmao. anyway, i remember thinking cha at least made stuff entertaining, but he ended up as the creepiest character of them all. i couldn't even finish the bl sidestory because it was depressing trauma after batshit crazy trauma. minho was a dick at times, but he never deserved the stuff that happened to him in this volume (and especially not what happened in the sidestory). i can't even fully remember the ending anymore because it was so unsatisfying and annoying.

Empezó de forma interesante, con potencial y muy buen arte para caerse por las escaleras y quedar hecha añicos en el suelo. Dios, el nivel de toxicidad que manejan todos los personajes es impresionante. La prota es una *insertar insulto* egoísta que, si bien tuvo un primer amor horrendo, no para de ser una persona bastante horrible con ese ex (lo quiere hacer sufrir, después le tiene compasión porque abusan de él, le confiesa que lo sigue amando, lo deja, se pelean, se maltratan, tienen sexo, se odian, lo tortura psicológicamente cogiendo con otro adelante de él, etc), con el compa sádico manipulador (que es el que se mete entre el noviazgo, la conquista, después abusa del ex y luego ella tiene sexo con él sabiéndolo, una nefasta) y con los 2 que la quieren, especialmente el pibe que la ama posta y quiere su felicidad.
En fin, hacía rato que no leía algo tan malo.

📚⇢ No tienen idea del coraje que hice con toda esta historia, pero sobre todo con la protagonista, es una persona horrible y no la soporto. Algunos personajes como Min-Ho tuvieron un desarrollo muy bueno y definitivamente estoy intrigada por llegar a su historia con Wookyung.
