For Nala Stanton, love has not always been kind. She fell in love with a façade, and now she’s desperate to free herself before it’s too late. When opportunity arises, she takes it, even though being found would surely bring her a death sentence. Armed with a new identity and half a million dollars in stolen drug money, she disappears to start a new life for herself. For six years, she’s had the freedom she craved, but that is all about to change when he is on her trail.

Ahmad “Play” Pryor isn’t a man of many words. After years of living the street life, all he wants is peace. When his brother Ashton, a private investigator, comes to him with a proposition, Ahmad is hesitant. From the moment he lays eyes on the beautiful Lila Peterson, formally known as Nala Stanton, he is enthralled beyond his wildest dreams.

With Lila in his possession, his main goal is to return her to the very man she ran from all those years ago. For Ahmad, it becomes harder than ever to just do his job. What begins as a captor/kidnapper relationship, soon turns into something neither of them imagined or could have ever prepared themselves for. When forbidden feelings arise and tension grows from all sides, Ahmad and Lila find themselves in a bit of a tight space.

Will Ahmad complete the job he’s been paid to do, or will he keep this beautiful hostage all for himself?

After fleeing an abusive relationship, Nala has been on the run for six years. With the money she stole from her ex, she moved across the country to Cali, changed her identity, and started a brand spankin’ new life as Lila Stanton. Since settling into her new life, Lila has managed to peacefully lived under the radar and cultivate a few friendships until the devil finally comes to collect his due in the form of Ahmad “Play” Pryor.

Ahmad is a retired hitman with a severe case of OCD. He prefers his own company and savors his peace and solitude. Daily meditation and a clean and organized house keeps him sane. That peace is disrupted when his brother asks him to do one last job as a favor for his PI firm. Ahmad is reluctant but, my guy doesn’t turn down money and he eventually agrees. He has no idea how the turn of events over the next several days are going to change his life.

The battle of wills was real with these two. Nala did not go quietly into the night and she tested Ahmad’s gangster every step of the way. By the time they got on the plane, he was sick of her. But, somewhere between the attempted escapes and tryin’ to unalive Ahmad several times, Nala did the unthinkable and fell for her captor. She definitely didn’t see that shyt coming.

Sensual Abduction was a decent read. I liked it but, I didn’t love it. IMO, it felt like the book lost a lot of its steam after the “climatic” scene with Slim. Honestly, I thought the storyline could’ve been wrapped up in a few chapters after Nala and Slim’s conversation because there was nothing else really going on. The last ten chapters were just unnecessary fluff and low key boring. But, KB is my fave and I’ma always support.

Nala x Play

I definitely Dnf this. The first 70 to 80 percent of the book was really captivating and engaging. I was definitely locked in to see how this was going to play out for Play and Nala. But KB being the skilled writer she is tied it up nicely. Ahmad being severely OCD made him even fine to me. A tough nigga with OCD just 🥰.
Nala was resilient, she was strong, she was tenacious.. There are many other ways to describe her, but those few will do. I loved seeing Ahmad change throughout the story.
But this was overly and unnecessarily long. After all the loose ends were tied up, I made the decision to Dnf, which didn't really take away from the story cause I still got my HEA.

Alright now ladies. 💪🏾 I love a good kidnapper to lovers read, as well as a bomb collaboration, so I was excited about this read. You two did not disappoint. Nala/Lila was trying to live her best life in Cali after getting away from Slim, although she was often looking over her shoulder. Things were going well until she is snatched up one night and wonders how he found her after all this time.

Ahmad was a man who desired peace more than anything. He enjoys his solitude, and for things to be clean and orderly. He is content with the life he lives, although he secretly wishes for more. When his brother asks him to do a job for him, he uncertain if he wanted to get involved, but ultimately helped him out. What he didn’t know was the surprise would be on him.

Nala was not going back to Slim and was going to do all that she could to keep that from happening. She was fighting Ahmad left and right trying to escape, while injuring herself in the meantime. Ahmad stops to think, there must be more to this if this woman is that adamant about not going back to this man. It took him no time to determine he was not turning her over.

I loved seeing the different layers of Ahmad. As he spent more time with Nala, he began to soften and learn how to love and experience love, that he never had before. The relationship he built with Kari was the most adorable thing I’ve witnessed in a minute. Come through Saleem and Pure! Loved catching up with them. Good read. 👍🏾👍🏾

I think this was a 3.5. It was a good read. Nala was bold this whole story. Once she decided that she was not going to let someone else to continue to control her circumstances she never looked back.

“”What if i fell for you?” he asked. “Am i safe?” I smiled. “The safest place in the world.””

Now why was I smiling so much during this book. Seeing Ahmad with his OCD, which i totally understand, change into this loving and caring figure was one of the best parts. I loved watching these layers of him come to life and learning more about his family. As well as things within that circle starting to become better with his parents. Rabbit was such a gem and the bond between these two was the best.

Nala i couldn’t image dealing with a boy like slim. Yea it was messed up how things came about but being kidnapped seemed to be the best thing to happen. My girl not only got her life back but also fall in love along with get back on slim. She was a fighter through and through until she had a soft space to land. The banter with her and Ahmad was cute. Really enjoyed this more than i thought i would.

Physical book with audio on audible.

I didn’t expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. I normally never see this type of plot with urban fiction so I was skeptical about it. It was great I love the plot, character development, and the characters. It was a beautiful story and I’m glad Nala, Ahmad, and Kari can be a family.

s It Stockholm Syndrome or Love?

This forbidden love story hooked me from the first page until the very last! Kimberly and Rose have this incredible talent for capturing emotions and making them leap off the page. Their writing styles blend so seamlessly, creating a truly captivating love story.

The way I was feeling sympathy for Ahmad as if he didn't kidnapp Nala/Lila for a ransom is crazy. All Ahmad ever really wanted was to be loved and I was so glad he was able to receive that from Nala. Ahmad calling Nala, Bunny was such a cute moment and calling Kari Rabbit just made my heart melt.

Nala was the epitome of escaping or die trying and my girl was giving Ahmad hell for a little bit and I love that for her. Now Nala did not have to fold so quickly for Ahmad. She could have stood on business just a little bit longer. I loved catching up with Saleem and Pure and seeing the crossover of characters.

I liked this one, it grabbed me from the very beginning and kept me engaged the entire time. I will say they spent a lot of time building the storyline up but the ending felt a bit rushed for me. Also I feel like they teased me with the playroom, like if you gonna surprise us like that, we should’ve gotten a full scene not just a quick review of what happened. That was a missed opportunity in my opinion. Other than that I enjoyed this read, I couldn’t tell which author wrote what and that’s just a testament to how well their pens mash. I hope to read more these two separately and collaboratively!

Ahmad (Play) + Nala (Lila)

I love a good kidnapping trope.

Nala was in a mentally, emotionally and financially abusive relationship…. Until she found the money her abuser was hiding in the floorboard of her closet. Without a real plan, Nala stole the money and ran as far away as possible. She ended up on the other side of the country with a new identity and the career she has always wanted. That was until Ahmad was hired to kidnap her and return her to her abusive ex.

Ahmad aka Play was out of the game and semi legit until he was contracted by his brother to collect Nala and return her to the man she ran from. Nala put Ahmad through it. I bet he will never in his life kidnap another person.

Anyway, the dialogue was hilarious. The story was good. Definitely worth the read.

I loved this. The storyline was different but it was cute. I do feel like the end was a tad bit drawn out. The book could have ended long before it did. But nonetheless, I enjoyed it👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I usually don’t like the kidnapping to lovers trope but this one was alright with me. It won’t make me like that trope but I enjoyed this one.
I wonder how Ashton found her though….

This was an ok read. I liked them as a couple and loved the daughter but there was so much that just didn't land for me.

The set up for Ahmad being the kidnapper made no sense to me. There were no real stakes or incentive for him to be in this position so it didn't really make for an interesting plot point.

I absolutely hated the nickname Bunny. It annoyed me to no end especially the random reasoning behind it. Now look in my house nicknames never makes sense but it was something about this and how early he started calling her it that just bothered me. This is solely a me problem though 😂

I loved seeing Nala grow into her own and rise above everything she went through and enjoyed how Ahmad showed up for her and Kari. Everything just happened a little tool quickly for me. I'm usually an insta love girlie, I want the majority of the book to be the relationship but something about this just didn't work for me. Even the major conflict in this book was handled quickly and easily.

And that's the thing with this book, it had so many things that I loved and so much potential but it never really hit the mark. If things were a little more fleshed out. If situations had a little more time to breathe, it would've been fantastic.

I really enjoyed this story but I also had some issues which may not bother anyone else. So the Premise of this story is a girl who is dating a crime boss who is controlling and she’s tired of it. She steals 500k from him and runs away to create a new life. 6 years later she is kidnapped to be returned to her crime boss ex. She falls for the kidnapper and some things happen. So after all the action happens. I thought the story was pretty much done but no its chapters of the life the girl and kidnapper have. Though it was beautiful and sweet,I kept feeling like something was going to happen and it didn’t. On the flip side it’s what we ask for when we want to know what happens after the story ends. So think epilogue but extended. Overall very good read I recommend for sure.

Sensual Abduction

As soon as I heard about this book I was like I can't wait. Two of my favorite authors did their big one with this untraditional love story. My suggestion please make more books together.

Anyway this book as previously mentioned is not your traditional love story. First Lila/Nala gets abducted by one Mr. Ahmad to be taken back to the monster she ran from six years old. Although they started off rocky I gotta say I love that my girl Nala was given my boy hell in the beginning. She was definitely not making it easy for your boy and well he kinda deserved it. Little Ms. Kari was a character. I love books that write kids into the story its always just pure cute entertainment. The conflict its gets resolved pretty quickly which I appreciated. Overall I really love reading this again I hope for more books from these two separate and together.

Now that was a read...

I love this book, Definitely gave me something different. Kidnapped falling in love with kidnapper and vice versa is a story but made in heaven. Ahmad and Nala We're just too cute together I loved how in the beginning they literally could not stand each other but like slowly started to really see each other for who they were. Kari was also super duper freaking adorable, That loved her relationship with Ahmad. Ashton and Ahmad relationship was also freaking amazing that brotherly love but being able to call each other b**** n****** was just ridiculous I couldn't get over it it was too freaking cute. Slim's b**** a** got his untimely end and it was so deserved. Now the spice in this book between Ahmad and Nala woo baby.... Did that.

He Only Had One Job And One Job Only!!

Ashton had Ahmad on a dummy mission. Lila/Nala was on the run for six years not bothering anyone. That was until Slim contacted Ashton. Ahmad said if he had known she has a daughter he wouldn't have took the job. Lila has tried to kill him on many occasions. Ahmad has problems with his parents, not feeling liked or loved. So he closed his self off to everybody. Makari is his new friend because she grew on him and her mama too. She seducing him and he didn't have a promblem with that. He compulsive case of o.c.d. Lila thought that was just strange and weird. Her daddy thought she had stockholm syndrome the way they were kissing. Makari looked to Mr. Ahmad as a father figure.Ahmad's mama and daddy apologized for for making him feel unwanted and not loved. Their families got along.

Sensual Abduction

I enjoyed this kidnapped to lovers story. It gave me close proximity romance, taboo romance and plenty of love. I appreciated that the authors gave us a look into Ahmad and Nala’s relationship post kidnapping and seeing how their relationship developed instead of rushing to the happily ever after. I loved how Ahmad loved on his Bunny and his Rabbit. He was enamored with them both and loving them changed him for the better. Nala gave him the space to be soft and express the love he had always wanted. I also loved the side characters and the laughs that came with them. The love and relationship between Ahmad and Nala was definitely unorthodox and unconventional, but these authors did an amazing job writing this story.

Assignment Understood!!!!

Lately too many Authors have been flooding the reading public with poorly recycled version’s of the same old stories..And dragging out books to several parts that could’ve have been wrapped up in one…Thank you both for changing this narrative..Not having to read about the main characters running through bodies or back tracking to dysfunctional situations made the book appealing.. Once Ahmad touched down it was up..I appreciated how the storyline mostly stayed in real time..Ahmad and Nala finding healing and peace together gave life to the storyline..Ahmad’s love for Makari certified him a ‘Real One’..Nala choosing to support and not clown him over his OCD..Him guiding her through the Panic Attacks and triggering issues..You guys did a great job..I read about Ashton and Latrice..Hell Saleem and Pure to get more of Ahmad and Nala…

GOOD READ

This was a good story. Nala was at her breaking point and needed to escape. When the opportunity presented itself, she left her past behind. Things are looking good for her until the past resurfaces and the unexpected happens at the hands of a handsome stranger. Her journey is suspenseful with a little humor. Ahmad meeting Nala and Kari was not what he expected in his plan, but I loved how they softened his heart to be more open and caring. Although they had a rocky start, I loved how they were able to help each other see the good they could bring into a relationship. Great ending for these two.

Kimberly Brown and Rosé Dior did they big one in Sensual Abduction. The story flowed effortlessly to where you couldn't tell who was writing what scene and I loved that. The main characters, Nala Stanton aka Lila Peterson, and Ahmad "Play" Pryor had my emotions running high. The banter, sexual tension, and Nala constantly get under Ahmad's skin. Phew! and Kari, she is so cute and outspoken. She was my favorite character. In all honesty, Nala did what needed to be done 6 years ago. Nuff said! Slim wasn't going to change his way for nothing.
Overall, I loved the story and can't wait for another collab by these two wonderful authors.

4.5 ⭐️ I really enjoyed this. I didn’t think I would after he kidnapped her and her kid. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind a lil kidnapping trope but I’ve never read one with the kid involved. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I fell in love with their relationship. I was rooting for Ahmad. Watching him fall in love with Makari aka Lil Rabbit as well as Nala was beautiful. Plus there was no third act break up and lord knows I was waiting for it lol. I said things are going too damn well, shit bout to hit the fan lol. It was perfect. Definitely recommend.

Excellent read! Loved every bit of it!

Wow Nala had such a rough start hooking up with that demon Slim! He was the epitome of evil! She did the smartest thing by leaving but as any Narcissist he just couldn't go on about his pitiful life and business! Upon first encounter with Ahmad, she really didn't like him or what he stood for, but they finally got to a beautiful place and began a love affair! Makari was an unexpected loving surprise and the two of them healed hurts in Ahmad. This was such a great read. I was hoping they made it out together! Slim messed with the wrong one and got dealt his karma. I must say I got scared with her set up for their date! Thank God it was her and Ashton who set it up! Latrice was an added bonus for Ashton, and I loved Pure and Saleem! So glad all the parents found joy, mended hurts and a re-established their love especially Ahmad and The Pryor's! Great job on this one Kimberly and Rose'!!!!
