A great story that focuses on the current situation of the Constitution during our times. Although this book was a work of fiction, it was an entertaining suspenseful thriller. —Reader review for Dark Corners ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This reader mostly just read the parts in quotation marks, because the majority of the book contained unnecessary detail and emotions all drama. Once again we have a book where a man justifies killing women and the FBI and other police officers must catch him before he kills again.
I started enjoying this book a little over half way through. Though well-written I thought the discussion of the main character's mental wellness (distraction, sadness, etc.) was over-done and it got old. Regardless, I look forward to another book by the same author and same characters....I'm sure there's more to come!
I enjoyed this book—it kept me turning the pages and held my interest. That said, it felt a bit too predictable at times, which took away some of the excitement(however I did have those thrill moments). I also wish it had been written in first person with multiple POVs. I think that would’ve helped me connect more deeply with the characters and better understand their thoughts and emotions. As it stands, I found it hard to really feel what they were going through. Still, a solid read overall.
A truly deep, well presented and thoroughly dramatic story of two FBI agents thrown together to try and solve a series of deaths which had been occuring now but involved an apparent accidental drowning some 15 years before. Who was enacting what appeared to be revengeful retribution from so many years before, and why? What was the mystery, was there something going on about the fateful death so long ago? Was it truly an accident? A well written mystery story which will keep you entranced throughout.
While at a girls summer camp, you have your leaders and your followers. Each girl wants to be include in a group and to have friends.. Sometimes things. happen that effect the rest of your lives. This story will keep you reading and wanting to know more.
Avery good and interesting story extremely well told.
The story had a lot of twist and turns as it took Drake Reed and his partner through the process finally capturing TBE killer before he killed someone else.
Overly descriptive and repetitive on what I thought were unnecessary topics. Super skimmed and feel I didn’t miss anything but still had to finish as I hate to not finish books.
