Fun and games and adventure. Loved it

I am very disappointed in this fifth book of the Jake Mercer series. There have been the occasional grammatical errors in the previous books, but this book made series errors. I really enjoy Jack Mars' stories and then to encounter inconsistencies between books is very frustrating. Aren't there editors that are supposed to catch these problems? For example, in the fourth book a minor character is killed, but then he is alive in the fifth book. I even went back to the fourth book to confirm. In addition, the name of the male CIA contact got changed from Mr. Quartz to Mr. Topaz which was the name of the female CIA contact from earlier books in the series. Don't authors or editors use story boards to keep track of their characters? Sorry to rant, but it really ruins my enjoyment of the series.

Jake and Jess have to accompany the president and his family to Moscow for a peace summit. Not the safest place for them and soon the attacks start. As jake suspects Trident is involved but not as he thought. Not sure whom to trust, the situation soon gets very personal for him. Lots of action again and a few surprises.

These books are high paced but if the secret service was 1/2 this bad at their jobs they would not exist. Well I guess the trump secret service might be that bad but I assume they are way better than this series makes them out.

Good read

Full of action, love and patriotism that will take deadly risks to conquer any threats to this characteristics. Highly recommend, make sure read series in order to understand the plot and character progression.
