I won this book in a goodreads drawing.

A fairly good book of poetry, that uses some words you don't see very often.

3 stars...I enjoy a break from my usual genre and poetry is a good way to break that barrier. I won this in a goodreads giveaway, so thank you to Goodreads. I liked this...a year of poetry or lyrics. It was raw, and real and some of it was a little too on the nose.

Thank you for the ARC copy! The poetry has complex subject matter and it’s very intricate. I can see a person reading a poem a day from this book.

It’s taking me a long time to finish this. The poems are so far all pretty dark and heavy. The poet clearly has a lot going on and i applaud their dedication to writing a poem a day, but it is somewhat like having a friend in trouble dump everything on you.
