Rainbow Calavarie has no idea why, but she still believes in love even after all the heartache and pain she’s endured from trusting her heart to those who didn’t deserve her. She believes in it with every fiber of her being and can’t wait to experience her own real-life happy ending one day. So when her latest situationship hints at a budding future, a part of her is ecstatic. But trusting her heart to a known heartbreaker again instantly drowns her excitement. Forced to face what can’t be denied, Rainbow has a tough decision to make. Though before she gets the chance, her path intertwines with a past crush for whom her feelings have never faltered. Blunt and dangerously sexy Hassan Miller comes back into Rainbow’s life with a vengeance and doesn’t hesitate to let her know just how bad he’s always wanted her. From the very beginning, an unofficial whirlwind begins. Not only does Rainbow’s body immediately respond to Hassan in ways she doesn’t recognize, she feels a connection and a kind of comfort with him that she’s never felt with any other man. Rainbow finally feels like happiness is within reach, but someone isn’t too happy about watching from the sidelines as she lives her best life. So when Hassan puts the breaks on their intimate interludes, she’s heartbroken and tries to change his mind at every turn. Unfortunately, while trying to convince him otherwise, chaos reigns and spins out of control, causing her to question whether she’s once again failed at love. With her world now upside down, will Rainbow flee back to the familiarity of Broken Heart Lane, no matter how daunting? Will she walk away from a man who has redefined what happiness truly means to her? Is the key to Rainbow’s happiness in her past, or is wrapped in Hassan’s arms, a man who loves her down with more passion than she ever knew existed, the only place she wants to be…
Hassan Miller has always wanted a love like his parents, but thanks to him trusting the wrong woman with his heart, he expects nothing more than a good time from the women who approach him. Everything with the opposite sex becomes nothing more than a fair exchange of pleasure to the point that he doesn’t realize just how much he’s numbed himself to what and who he really desires. But when a chance run-in with the only woman in his life to make him want more than just a night of pleasure, even though she is the exact definition of the word for him, leads to them crossing paths again and him exploring her in ways he’d only dreamed, Hassan takes advantage of every moment he spends with Rainbow Calavarie in hopes of winning her heart. It doesn’t take Hassan long to realize that sharing himself with her is no longer just a physical act of pleasure but a truly divine soul-mating experience. Sharing her presence provides him with endless mental satisfaction. And pleasure. More pleasure than he’d ever experienced with any one woman before. Every intimate connection has him falling quicker than he expected, and every physical connection fuels his need to keep Rainbow in a constant position to make his beard shine. Hassan falls hard and fast and suspects he’s been in love with Rainbow since their first encounter. But when her past refuses to let go, Hassan is triggered and wonders if fighting for a future with Rainbow is worth the pain her uncertainty has caused. Will these two broken souls be able to heal each other before any irreversible damage is done? Is Hassan willing to mend a heart he didn’t break if it means living the life he’s always craved? Will Hassan be able to seduce Rainbow into reminding her just how much he cares for her and loves to lick and kiss her pain into joy? Or will Hassan walk away eternally broken...
A time was had! Erotic cover to cover. Rainbow and Hassan had that sex on sight type of understanding. On the romance side they learned about each other and bring banter.
Rainbow is getting over a bad relationship when she drunkenly decides to make her ex pay. Her neighbor Hassan, who's been nursing a crush on her, stops her from making that mistake, but then they lose touch. Three years later, Rainbow is back in town, scared to meet her long-lost family, stuck in a dead end situationship when Hassan walks into her bar. And the spark is still there.
I loved Bow and Hassan's banter. I like the way they moved around each other. They circled each other both scared to trust. Hassan got on my nerves, being so demanding when he was afraid to go all in, but I understood him wanting to be sure And I was happy Bow got to make some demands of her own. When she went off on her own to solve the problem, I got her reasoning but I knew it would end badly. But I was happy she went to get what was hers in the end. The family reunion was my favorite part. Gunnah and the brothers gave Bow what she always wanted and it was emotional.
Now let's get to how hot this was. Let me say that Ms. Norfleet writes the fat girl erotica I love to read and she's pretty special. I love her in this lane. Bow being plus sized, confident and beautiful, knowing her power made this sexy story even hotter and I was very pleased. Good job.
This was a great ending for this family. I absolutely loved all the ebbs and flows of this story. Rainbow and Hassan are my favorite couple out the series.
Out of the entire series, this one was my favorite. Rainbow just had that aura, energy and that magnetic pull that made you love this book. Rainbow stumbles into officially meeting her fine a$$ neighbor, Hassan on her way out for revenge chillllleeee. Hassan stops her from making a mistake of a lifetime, but then they lose touch. Years later, Rainbow is working at a bar that Hassan happens to visit and the rest is history. She was scared to meet her family, chasing her bag but, being played by a lame in a situationship.
I loved Bow and Hassan downnnnnnnnnnnn. I loved how they both were absolutely crazy, unhinged, and nasty, but stood ten toes down about one another. Hassan almost allowed his fear to ruin them and Bow almost did the same due to childhood trauma. I loved the family reunion/ meeting it truly warmed my heart. The dad and the brothers gave Rainbow the missing pieces to her puzzle.
Hassan was great and so was the family, but Bow had an amazing BFF. Connie is a real girls girls and the true definition of a real friend. Connie will get in the field with her gurl. I would love to see Gunnah story but also Connie and Antoine.
The erotica was beautifully written and steamy. The BBW love in these series is chefs kiss. I just wish I felt an ounce of her confidence and the ability to not only know your power but to live in it.
Yeah I like Hassan, I liked him a lot. There's just something about a man who knows what he wants he seems cocky and arrogant and he kind of is cocky and arrogant but he also sweet and likeHe won't allow are you and that's how Hassan is. I loved him for rainbow I felt like they definitely matched each other's energy. I felt like they totally understood each other on such a deeper levelWhen it came to the experiences of hurt. As for rainbows dead mama is still disrespectfully f***** her. I just there's no forgiveness on this Earth that makes me overlook what she put that little girl through. Drace's delusional as desserved the timely end he got... I would have stabbed a minute to, I get that Hassan was upset with her For lying to him about what was going on but when he wasn't trying to hear her out he was making me Aggie... Cause like n***** look at it from my standpoint... But they both were being dumb and I knew they were just meant for each other anyways. I love that rainbow got to meet her people she got out of her uncomfortable zoneAnd got her her original bio family and new family with Hassan. The f****** in this book miss India always does Sexy time Justice....
Lamona didn't deserve to have the title mother, she abandon all 4 of her children but the one that had it the worse was Rainbow, to just know that your mother did not want you around because her man wanted you and he and his friends started to touch you as well as threatened to sell you; knowing you did wrong by your sons you would have thought she would do better but she didn't and got exactly what she deserved. So have Hassan was a strong but sensitive man that wanted someone to pour into him as he did them and he found that with Rainbow once they got over the small hiccups everything worked out perfectly, she finally found love, family, and peace after being told by her mother and the man she gave her heart too whom got what he deserved. It was much sweeter k owing that her soulmate were best friends with her baby brother and they all knew as well as accepted him, A must read.
5⭐️read guaranteed to make you laugh, roll your eyes, swoon, & cry. Both Hassan & Freckles had their fair share of heartbreak, but their vulnerability and chemistry with one another is unmatched. Soulmates, soul ties are real in their case. So glad Rainbow got her HEA. It’s still middle finger to Lamona. Connie is a real girls girls and definition of a true friend, wouldn’t mind a story of her and Antoine and follow up of some of our faves. India you did it again. Another one, DJ Khaled voice! I’ll be impatiently waiting for the next one!
First, I felt a little off because I haven’t read any of the books in the Calaverie Family series, but I really enjoyed this book. It was well written, flowed well and grabbed my attention from the very beginning. Hasaan first met Rainbow when she was hurt by her boyfriend, got drunk and decided to drive to his house. Hassan took her keys, got cursed out by her and threw up on him. Several years later, thhey met again and were inseparable after. It wasn’t all smooth sailing, but I enjoyed reading about their love story.
I HATE to see a good ass series come to an end!!! I dragged this thang out for a whole week. But when Bow popped up in Q and Noah’s book, i had to speed it up!!! Baby i LOVE Hassan down bad!! His story almost took me out, i cried so damn bad. Rainbows story fcked me up too! This read was emotional and so damn nasty! Them Calavaries and their significant others be hunchin hunchin!! Connie was a real one, i loved her! Need to see what’s poppin between her and Antoine! 😜 But man…them Calavarie’s, how loving and accepting they and their women (and even baby Mya) was…whew!!
If she doesn’t know how to do anything else. She knows how to write some baby making books that’s for sure! They will have you looking at your man sideways I tell you. Because Hassan I need no want me a Hassan! Sensational
Honey… spicy and living up to the title. Hassan is book bae and I couldn’t stop laughing , the story flow from beginning to end . Will definitely be reading more by India ❤️
Standing Ovation!! Hassan Miller is probably in my top 5 favorite book boyfriends. Even when his was pissed at Bow he never disrespected her. That man always made sure she got hers first. And always spoke love into them and her ! Bravo ! They both went on a limb with their hearts & won !
Oooh this one went dark and unexpected real quick!!! Murder, molestation, abandonment, and love! This story had it all! I was looking for more interactions with Rainbow and her brothers, well really their wives. That should be a whole adventure within itself!
Omg, this book is so hot and steamy. I couldn’t put my kindle down. I’m recommending this author to my sister. Thank you India T Norfleet. I love the characters in this series. Thank you.
These stories are so erotic! I love the sexiness of the stories, and I love how it all came together in this final story! Still way too many grammatical errors, but the playlists I’ve created from these books is top notch!
Now I love me some India but it took me a minute to finish this book and the series… I love those Cavalerie brothers real bad but Rainbow and Hassan held their own and they are just as crazy as the rest of the gang and I’m here for it. I can’t wait for what’s next
What a perfect ending to a sizzling series! It just goes to show that love can sneak up on you when you're not looking, and finding your soulmate is the ultimate blessing.
This was a great read Hassan and Rainbow, it was alot of heartache but these two were meant to be. It did not hurt that Hassas was bat crazy about Rainbow.
