I’ve been vegan for a long time, but this book was a fillip that thumped me forward in my journey toward a predominant WFPB regimen and away from even minimally processed vegan foods. I’ve been on a total WFPB diet for two weeks now, and, not surprisingly, it has been quite enjoyable. I approached this trial with enthusiasm, and I’m rewarded by a desire to continue. It creates a peaceful space for those who might be interested in veganism to learn from the heartfelt shares of others. The "Why Vegan?" section at the beginning beautifully describes some of the many reasons to go vegan. I'm vegan for the animals, but I love that I'm also helping the planet, other humans, and my own health.
The book is continually referenced, so readers can dive deeper into the facts, if desired, with helpful resources provided throughout, including recipes at the back of the book. A fabulous read.
