Ugh. Noping out because after her fucking amazing night with all three neighbors - which, ok yeah, maybe she wasn't super experienced before, and I'm sure it would be a bit mind-boggling for her to cope with, but...
Her biggest emotion is SHAME! She went into it knowingly, and premeditated, and even though the experience blew her mind, now she's ashamed.
Yeah, no.

It was a no for me. Just the mmc's gaslighting the fmc into sleeping with them even though she's explained multiple times about her past relationship making her feel not good enough, and expressed her concern of getting attached to the men.
There's a particular scene that made my stomach sour- she goes over to talk to the guys about something and she's so excited and they basically tell her to be quiet and have sex with them already. So she takes her clothes off and says "take what you want" clearly upset and THEY DO! it would have been a perfect time for the author to show some heart in this men and dig a little deeper but apparently they only have dicks? Even after the conflict, they had no drive or ambition to TRY!
There was no romance here. There was no care. Adding in small details where they were doing things for her simply did not make up for their lack of care around her emotional needs. They didn't give a shit about her. I had no idea this was a hook up book, I never would have read it. Up until 70% of the book they were straight up rejecting her. Who wants to read about a woman begging three men to be with her? Not me.
Some gaslighting examples-
"Are you willing to give up the time we do have to avoid getting too attached?" AS IF SOMEONE IS FORCING THESE MEN TO LEAVE??
"Why can't we just go into this with an open mind? No expectations and no expiration. Forget we said we're leaving. Let us give you what you deserve right now." LITERALLY BECAUSE IVE BEEN HEARTBROKEN FOR A YEAR OVER MY EX AND I DONT WANT THAT AGAIN with THREE MEN WHO ALSO WONT COMMIT?!
"It was somehow both the most intimate and distant relationship in my life" literally anytime she tried to connect with them, the men just wanted sex.
If this is your jam, have at it.

Pretty much the same story as the first book: woman likes three men, three men like woman, woman is worried men are going to leave, woman yo-yos between sleeping with them and crying, HEA. The first book had a kid, and the three men were devoted to her from the beginning, whereas in this one, the three guys keep telling her "It's temporary, we're leaving soon."
Like the first book in the series, there's no romance, no dating, no deep conversations or anything, just a whole lot of boning.
I don't know if it's because I was listening to the audiobook or what, but like the first book, there was no discernible difference between the three men. The only difference I could find was that Aiden was the sweeter, committed one. He buys the soap she uses so he can smell her when she isn't around. He was the first to want to date her, admit he wanted kids with her, and he took care of her instead of just sexing her into the ground. <3
My favorite part of this book was a side character, Veira (spelling?) She was smart, funny, sarcastic, a great friend, and didn't take crap from anyone. Does she get her own book?
There was one part where I actually laughed out loud and had my family members giving me "the" look, which was when the three guys were having a discussion in the car on winning the FMC back. It's not until like 95%, which is sad. It was the most real feeling of the book, just three guys joking and letting out their feels a bit. This needed to be earlier in the book.
Let's talk about the yucky part of the book that dropped it from 3 to 2 stars. The FMC gets super excited about a competition that's been building for the past three books and rushes over to tell the guys about it. She gets into it, telling them all about it, and they tell her to be quiet. She's hurt at first but covers it up, takes off her clothes, and says, "Take what you want." So all three do. The guys are pretty much like that the entire time. Every time she tries to tell them anything, they just tell her to get undressed. It's not exactly romantic and is edging on toxic.
If you're in need of smut with three guys, this will do the job. It doesn't have the huge emotional trauma of the first book, but it does have a bunch of "break-up" chapters, and the guys really only seem to want her for sex, so yeah.
I really, really wanted to like this book. I was hooked in the beginning. It made me laugh and the execution was great. But after that, it was like a spiral of “I’m not relating to the characters.”, “What’s their problem?”, “What the fucks?”, “Huh?? I’m confused.”, “Characters are not charactering.” kinda deal. There’s so many holes that needs explaining, slow-burn is not even slow-burning, don’t even understand why they signed up to have this benefit together—it just happened without explanation but attraction and lust, confusing plots—it doesn’t explain WHY the characters do what they do—especially the mains, and poorly executed and confusing as fuck and annoying and idk, there’s just something about the ending that doesn’t make any sense. Actually, I figured it out. The WHOLE book is VERY toxic and it doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t give the characters a reason why they do the things they do. Also, how old are they??? They sound like they’re in their mid-20s when they are in their what? 40s? Sigh. 😮💨 These characters are so toxic for each other, especially the men. They only wanted sex, not her heart. She wanted love and family but was neglected and used, BY THE MEN AND HER EX! Frustrating. I needed to get my brain cells restored after reading a confusing and toxic book. Other than that, I tried to enjoy it as much as I could. The beginning was golden. 🤣
This was a fast paced, mostly light hearted read. Some heart/relationship angst - familial & partners. Opening chapter is quite the doozy and had me laughing as well as suffering from second hand embarrassment.
There were several times where I got pulled out of the story because of how my brain works. At least twice the FMC drove her car somewhere but got a ride home from someone else. The next day her car was back at her place. No mention of how the car got back or her surprise that it was back. Is the FMC’s car really a less possessed Christine? The daughter of KITT? Some other car with skills to drive itself home? If not, i think it’s a missed opportunity to add another funny / annoying scene between the FMC & one of the MMCs while keeping the timeline / sequence of events intact.
Other times where when the FMC removed an item of clothing twice, suddenly had clothes/shoes on/ off where she didn’t before, etc. Do any of these things detract from the story? Probably not for most people. Any time I’m pulled out of the story, more than a half dozen times, by something in the timeline being off, I can’t give 5 stars. 4.5? Sure. But this app doesn’t give that as an option.
these books have been hit or miss for me. like Joanie’s story, Eve’s also fell short for me. the initial meet-cute was absolutely hilarious and mortifying but their connection from there was so… not it for me. i know it broke the ice for them, but i would have liked some more of a connection/conversation to develop before things progressed the next time. i think i also got tired of these last 3 books being centered around The Battle/the same timeline. as hilarious as this town has been, i hope for something fresh or at least set later in time. you don’t get ages for any of the characters, so who knows if they are actually silver foxes.
the book also needed another pass through with edits.

I enjoyed the story and the characters were great. I'd love to see something where the characters are a little more developed, but for a quick read this was great. The story tugged in heartstrings and even the surrounding characters were cute. It DEFINITELY got the feel of a small town correct too, with everyone in everyone's business. A few grammatical mistakes, one that was bad enough I'm still not sure what was trying to be said, but easy to ignore and continue on the story. Surprisingly not a huge amount of smut. Most of these shorter ones are excuses to just write the smut with no plot, but this one did actually take the time to work on the feelings instead of just smut. I liked that about it a lot.
This is a very good, well written, RH romance with humor. The characters are interesting, well developed, and lovable. Eve edits spicy romance books and is the daughter of the sheriff. She returned to care for him a year ago. Aiden, ash, and Tate suffered from PTSD until they started working temporarily as EMTs and volunteer firefighters. They have the cabin next to Eve’s granddad’s. Read how they meet in a very embarrassing situation. Then keep reading for the twists in their relationship. This series has character and situations that show up in the other stories.
The beginning of this book had me cackling out loud in my psychiatrist’s office. It was way too hilarious. I am confused with the (Nate) character because in the summary his name is Tate, but it’s easy to overlook.
Aiden claims he’s not a take care of and love him type of guy and then seven pages later claims he’s a caretaker at heart. So, that’s a bit confusing.
There’s no indication that the men are really considered silver foxes. They mention that they were in the military ten years prior though so I sort of see them being mid to late thirties
I am obsessed with Harmony Valley and all the crazy townsfolk

Another good quick audio. Not as spicy as books one and two but just as good. The beginning of this book was hilarious. They kind of hinted to it in book 2, but I died laughing. Made me feel kind of weird though when Eve FMC was kind of just letting them use her body in a way even though she was also using them, but it’s just like happened quite a couple times I just felt kind of weird.
I’m not exactly sure where the silver fox part was at all, but I didn’t care because this book was hilarious and 🥵 this was a pretty much insta lust right away and the smut got started real quick. This was a fast paced book which yes, means we don’t get a ton of the lovey dovey romance dates, but I honestly am just here for the vibes. I enjoyed that they actually communicate with each other, while there was still the angst of them possibly leaving at the end of their term at the station.
Oh my gosh, A whirlwind of romance! You know, the kind where our characters just can’t help but trip over their own feet sometimes, what with all the classic self-sabotage and the heart-wrenching relationship ups and downs. Plus, who doesn’t love a bit of ex-boyfriend drama to spice things up? Oh, and let’s not forget about the second hand embarrassment, kicking my feet for the first two chapters .
This book was a barrel of laughs from the first page to the last! I had a blast reading it. The characters were larger than life and the shenanigans that happened was hilarious and so much fun. I am going to read all of these books. Although its going to be hard to beat a dildo and some glue.
Another really good addition to this series. Well written with amazing characters. This read gave me the rollercoaster of emotions: I laughed so hard, swooned and teared up, absolutely loved it. The banter between the guys was amazing. The bonus chapter for Vera at the end was exciting, I'm so looking forward to her HEA!
This was so fun, and it started off so funny. That opening chapter. I wanted more story from it though. I wanted it to take its time a bit, There's only one chapter before the main characters are all over each other. I know that's the point but it was set up so nicely to be more. I would definitely read more from this author.
Picture this: You are back at home after a meeting you didn’t pay attention to. You’re feeling a little bit h0rn! and decided to play with a new $3* toy a friend of you gifted you. You put a little l^be on it and start.
After some minutes this doesn’t feel right and you try to pull it off but you can’t. You call your friend and ask her what kind of l^be it is and your friend tells you it really isn’t l^be and if you paid attention to the meeting, you would know it really is glue you can gift for awful exes. So now you’re in a dilemma: call 911 or live with it on you. And that, my dear reader is how you met your future boyfriends.
Silver Fox Firefighters Next Door was a really funny read. I had great laughs with it 😂.
The smut was a little disappointing, only one scene with all of them together. I mean it is a why-choose romance. What’s the point if they’re not scenes together, right? Right 🙃. I miss the connection between them -don’t judge me 😂-.
This one hit almost as hard as the first book in the series for me. I actually felt things for these characters, and some parts of this book definitely hurt.
I’m also excited to see where Vera’s story takes her.
Not a perfect series by any means, but it was a good, fun time. Definitely would recommend. 👍🏻
Holy smokes! This was a great book. As an author new to me, I did not know what to expect. But this was a fast paced, insta-love, romantic, funny and steamy story!
The main characters were awesome, and the secondary characters crazy and hilarious.
This is a great series. Fun, funny and spicy. Though they were all eerily similar in flow I still loved them. The author built a budding relationship in this series between Charlie and Anthony but just a teaser. I would really enjoy reading their love story. It would be a great way to round out the series.
2.5 A situationship between an insufferable FMC and 3 emotionally unavailable MMCs in a small town with meddling citizens. Mostly smut, which was alright but the romance was not here. These 3 men were silver foxes in name only, they acted like your average young man once it came time to discuss their feelings. Therapy for everyone involved.
Starts off with a hugely comedic but and mortifying event and goes through all the emotions I even legit cried at one point. But after reading this I HAVE to go back and read all of the books these are amazing. The town, the wackiness, the adventures they get into, LOVE IT
There is nothing better than having a good back and forth between characters, this book has that. The characters have great details and the book keeps you hooked to the end. I have read every book in this series and I am on to the next.
Story 4⭐️ Spice 3🌶️ WHY IS THIS CALLED “SILVER FOX”??? We are never told the guys ages, but they aren’t portrayed as being any older than in their 30’s. Despite this blaring oversight, I still really enjoyed the book.
I fucking love this book! The first couple of chapters of this book were so epic. I was dying laughing lol. Could you even imagine that happening to you? I would’ve died. So freaking funny.
Another great addition to the Harmony Valley RH stories, this time about Eve and her men, Nash, Hate and Aiden!! Has all the feels and plenty of spice 😁🔥🔥🔥 Can also be read as a standalone or in order 😉
I so emote the roller coaster ride i went on with this story. Had me in tears a few times and Laughter so hard is a good thing. Looking forward to more from this author. I always enjoy they're writing.
I would of enjoyed it better, if the FMC did not act like a teenager. Running and hiding ever time she got upset. I understand once or so..but the whole book is her running and pouting.
