The 36 images most often associated with a Lenormand deck have been re-assigned to the meanings of the numbers and suits of standard playing card whose meaning. Nine additional images have been added. These 45 images (excluding the Man, the Woman, and the Child) made it possible to assign one image to each of the number cards and the two Jokers of a standard deck.
"The Langer Deck: A Lenormand Playing Card Deck Designed by Kenneth Langer," was written by Kenneth Langer (also known as Kenneth P. Langer). This book was written to accompany "The Langer Deck."
My copy is a softcover copy with a grand total of 96 pages, including end pages.
This is the first deck I have personally encountered that combines regular playing cards used for Divination (i. e., Classical Cartomancy) with images found on Lenormand Cards.
I found the interpretations that depicted Lenormand images traditional to the Lenormand card-reading system. Of course, traditionally, Lenormand cards depict playing card insets.
This book was definitely informative and one I shall refer to, time and again, especially when using "The Langer Deck."
I found it very well written and the writing very simple; I truly believe it was written for a novice regarding Lenormand or Playing Card Divination.
I found the chapter on Spreads very helpful as there were some Spreads that I had never encountered before in other books.
