As always, Dr Rogers offers practical and powerful insight to the topic of preaching. He did it well and provides great wisdom for preachers to consider. This book affirmed in me what my great mentors instilled over years and years.
This certainly falls outside of the mainstream thought on what constitutes preaching, but we MUST return to the principle of preaching the Word of God rather than trying to stir emotional responses or filling seats. We must preach TRUTH because people’s eternity depends on it! Dr Rogers clearly provides direction.

This is Adrian Rogers in his typical simple folksy style. There is explanation and humor and pithy sayings. If you like his style you will appreciate this brief instruction booklet on preaching. He has some fine points I’ve not read anywhere else.
