Plot-Light... Yet a Message is Still There
I didn't know what to expect going into the God of Horny Heroines series, and although this plot-light high fantasy novella has more smut than anything else, I appreciate the message in this book more than I did in the first one. In the first book, the message I took from that was to respect your roots, wherever it is you came from. The message I took from this novella is to always look for allies and friends for any adventure in life. We may not be fighting giant spiders in dark caves with sword-bearing warriors, but we can befriend others and not have to trek through life alone. For a book so short and smutty, I was genuinely surprised by the message in between those steamy scenes. I might just be inclined to read the next book in the next series quite soon!

For the love of this God
This is a quick spicy read. The characters' banter is so cute, but those two are on fire between training. I'm looking forward to the next book.
