The Companion 2: The Good Wives' Guide to True Crime Part 1: Season 1 The Murder of Dee Dee Blanchard

Rate this book
In 2019 three ladies who had only met online in a Facebook Group discussing Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Nicholas Godejohn, and the murder of De-De Blanchard, sat down and recorded a podcast. The first season of The Good Wives' Guide to True Crime took a deep dive look at the murder of De-De Blanchard. Based on our own private investigations, research, an personal relationships with both The Blanchard & Godejohn families as well as with both inmates. Fancy, Colleen, & Christina worked directly with Kristy Blanchard for 3 years on a project wee still have in the works. However, we cut ties with the Blanchard's after we uncovered a web of lies they had told from the minute Gypsy & Nick were arrested. This companion book transcribes each episode. Our beloved Christina passed away in Feb 2020. Colleen & Fancy have carried on keeping her memory alive. In this book Collen & Fancy will provide updates and commentary on each episode, share stories of their memories with Christina, and even drop some exclusive new evidence that breaks this case open in a collossal way.

Well my oh my

So I decided to read this book based on what it's about and my forever favourite true crime squad 'The Good Wifes' To say I was excited to read this was an understatement, I was not disappointed. The level of investigation on this crime by them is commendable. Is it a book set out in normal book form, no. It is transcript of their podcast from when they first took this crime on, which I found strange at first but I soon got hooked. I love how they do comment on how their thoughts on everything has now changed and why....
I personally loved this book so much so I'm first in line for the follow-ups.
Also thank you ladies for showing us Dee Dee in a much softer light than her daughter has portrayed her. RIP Dee Dee 💕
