Fast and hard is how Ricky Daniels lives his life. He has no time for distractions, then Freya shatters everything he thought he knew…
A One Hour Reads Instalove Romance with 100% HEA.
Ricky My focus is singular. My heart is untouchable. With the exception of my rescue dog, Brutus, I don’t do distractions. Until a goddess saves Brutus from being run over at the Miami GP and takes off with my heart.
Freya Being a broke student isn’t fun. That’s why I’m working at the F1 weekend selling merch. Calling a top racing driver an irresponsible dog owner probably isn’t the smartest move, but maybe I’m not that smart, because I’m also picturing myself with the Australian for the rest of my life. I am in so much trouble.
Author Track Limits is an OTT Instalove, opposites attract, steamy short romance set in the fast-paced Formula 1 racing world. Where the drivers are all gorgeous alphas, and desire and passion run hot. Buckle up. There are no limits to love at first sight here…
Hot The F1 Players. They’re the legends of the F1 circuit. The fast lane is too slow for them. Love isn’t on the grid. Until it is. No brakes allowed…
***Psst – Hot The F1 Players is set in the Formula One racing world as created through an author’s imagination. The characters are entirely fictional, although yes, in some cases, a little bit influenced. Some creative license has been taken with some elements of the F1 world (but not too many because my F1-loving family would yell at me if there were)***
I liked how they met and their instant attraction. Even though this is short, there is a lot packed into these pages. I also liked that there are a few more characters. Having Brutus play a main character is brilliant.
I'm enjoying this series.

Track Limits is Book 2 of Hot Grid: The F1 Players series. It's a short and steamy, OTT, instalove, opposites-attract, girl gets her race car driver romance. Ricky is a hunky Australian driver with a lovable dog, Brutus. Freya is selling racing merchandise at the track to help her sister after being a bit down on her luck. When Brutus gets loose, Freya lights into Ricky about being an irresponsible pet owner, but he is taken by the feisty beauty. This was a fun, fast-paced, steamy read with hot chemistry and a happy ending. This was my first book by this author but not the last. I loved it!.

Ricky Daniels was adopted by a small black dog when he'd returned to Sydney after the F1 racing season. The wet, muddy dog had jumped onto his lap, ruined his clothes, and knocked his breakfast off the cafe table. It was love at first sight. When no one claimed the dog, Ricky did and named him Brutus. Now Ricky only has two interests in his life: his successful F1 racing career on the RPE racing team and Brutus.
Brutus travels the world with Ricky's F1 racing team. He even has a full-time dogsitter to accompany them. However, she had to return to Australia for a family emergency. Her replacement fell through, and Ricky had to hire an older woman who was unable to keep up with Brutus. When she accidentally drops his leash and gets knocked to her knees, Brutus is off and running right into the path of a truck...
Freya is an architecture student who's helping out her sister, Jodhi. Jodhi is a model and a marketing student. She accidentally double booked herself for two jobs. One is a modeling job, which Freya doesn't believe she's qualified to do and wouldn't want to do anyway. The other is selling merchandise for the RPE racing team. Freya doesn't mind selling merchandise, if only so much of her body wasn't on display. The girls only have each other since their parents died two years in a car accident. They both need money for tuition and rent.
Freya manages to save Brutus, and she's NOT happy with Ricky. She has no idea who he is, nor does she care. But he’s intrigued...

Rev your engines! Freya is helping her sister out at the racetrack, selling team merch. All of a sudden, a little dog goes streaking by, and almost gets hit by a truck! Who would be so reckless as to bring their dog to the track and let him loose? She's livid! Ricky's usual dog sitter wasn't available, so he hired someone else, but they were both startled and the dog made a mad dash. Fortunately, Freya scooped him up before he could get hurt. And then she proceeds to light into Ricky about being an irresponsible pet parent. All he can do is smile at her temper and attitude. It turns him on, if he's being honest. Ooh, these F1 guys drive fast and fall in love faster! This was a fun little instalove story with a racing theme. Of course, the fastest thing might have been the little dog trying to run away! This series is racing its way into my heart! Can't wait for more!!

This was my second Elle Couper book after reading 'Unwrapped by the Mountain Man' which featured the sister of this book's main character. Confused? Don't be, both books were very worth it, I enjoyed UMM so much I searched and happily found this one so, yes, this review is for two books and both are highly recommended. Great characters (all Aussies!), dialogue, inner thoughts, etc. 👉💕👈 The only downside is that both are short stories, however good stuff happens using lots fewer words.
If you prefer reading them in order, 'Track Limits' happens first with sisters Freya and Jodhi but quickly turns into Freya meeting Ricky, and a few years later, Jodhi meets Brady in UMM, both of course for HEAs! Obviously it did no harm reading them out of order. My fingers are crossed hoping for more news of these two couples in other Elle Couper books which I will be happily reading regardless! Thanks Ms Couper! 🤓
First of all, thanks to Elle Couper and Booksprout for giving me the opportunity to read this arc :)
When I first opened this book, the first thing I noticed was how it was only 60 pages? Also while I was reading it, it sort of felt like a novella type. The fact it's so clearly about Daniel Ricciardo was so fun, considering I love him as a driver. I'd just have to say, even though it's advertised as 'Instalove' and 'Short', I feel like it could be longer and more drawn out. And also, her being described using the same phrases again and again in one chapter was repetitive.
Nevertheless, it was a quick and easy read, thank you again :)))
Ricky's belief that all's fair in the game of romance, winning at the fast track, and the adulation of the fans comes to a screeching halt when he meets the love of his life. Freya's fierce tirade towards a disappointing dog-owner (no matter how famous he may be) puts her directly into the crosshairs of F1's most infamous star. Can her down to earth pragmatism slow down his faster than light actions?
F1 drivers insta love series continues with Australian driver Ricky. When Ricky’s dog Brutus runs off and almost gets run over he is saved by Freya a down on her luck merch sales assistant at the Miami circuit and sparks fly from the get go. After spending time together they know that they are each others forever. Glad the author used the proper Australian lingo for Rick . A steamy feel good love at first sight story.
This story is exactly what you would expect. Fast paced instalove. Wish it happened like that his in real life but truly enjoy everything I’ve read thus far from Elle couper. I would love to read some longer novels, sometimes we just don’t need the angst!.

This is a short, quick and stand alone read with instant love. The story is about Ricky and Freya. She is a student working at the races. Logan has no time for relationships and does not need a distraction, except for Brutus. She saves Brutus. The attraction is instant and he falls hard and fast. This is a fun and entertaining story.
That is really the best thing I can say about this one. The only thing I see the puts it in a "Formula One world" is the hero is alleged to be a driver. I say alleged because it's only talked about. No actual driving is done. Disappointing. However, this is a hot little short about insta-love. Although my favorite character was Brutus. Happy dreams.
Take an Aussie FI Driver and a girl who has no idea about F1 or the drivers. Then throw in brutus the dog with a mind of his own and you get this steamy, short intsa love story. Even though this is a quick read the author still give you a look inside her characters
