Arawn’s life as a merciless sword hand brought him riches and infamy.
Only one followed him in death.
At his life’s review, Death offers him two submit to eternity in The Deep, an ocean of endless torment, or return to life and endeavor to repair the darkness he’d sowed in his heart.
Remaking himself, however, isn’t as easy as he anticipated. Will he ever school his selfish impulses and modify himself? Will he ever learn to forgive himself for his murderous past?
A gripping and emotional short (background) story of a man and his second chance at life; his ‘redemption’. The Winter’s Handmaiden has been added to my TBR list. Can’t wait to read more about Death!
This story of Arawn explains his story arc and how he became the god of death. Due to his poor choices in life, he grew to hate himself. This is story of redemption, forgiveness, choice, and grace. Loved it! It made me cry.
