Baby!!!!!!! Blu came with ENERGY!!! BDE!!!! He’s top 2 and he ain’t number 2 in the BDE book bae category! This book was sooooooo good!!! Like page turner lose sleep good! There were so many jaw dropping, twist and turn moments I felt like I was in the ring with Mayweather!! Sooo many OMG moments!!! When Blu let his guard down and loved Jacoba he LOVED TF outta her!! I loved the family dynamic in this book. I read Kingston (Tiffany’s story) first so I didn’t realize the depths of Blu’s character…. HUNTY!!!! He came through BIG STEPPING!!! I’m at a loss for words describing how 🔥🔥 this story was!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I thought Gey was a man but his BROTHER BLU. Whewww M.Monique can write the heck out of a romantic suspense. I was on the edge of my seat with this one. My heart definitely dropped to my ankles a couple of time.

If you loved Uncovering Love, you are absolutely going to adore Blu. I thought Grey was my boo but, Blu may have stolen my heart. This man was the epitome of sexy and BDE all rolled into one. He was also surly, rude, aloof, and had no problem reading anyone. Including Jacoba. She was immediately attracted to Blu because he, more or less, saved her from a bad situation. Fast forward five months later, she and Blu reunite purely by happenstance. Jacoba is dealing with hella drama in her life from her over zealous manager who can't take no for an answer and her crazy azz ex who's hell bent on revenge. On top of all of that, she's also has a stalker lurking in the background she's told no one about. Baby girl is stressed and in dire need of a vacation. When Jacoba realized Blu was the mystery man that saved, she campaigned hard to get him on her security detail. When he agrees to accompany her on her vacation, this storyline catapults straight into action, suspense, mystery, and mayhem. This book had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who was doing what to whom. There were so many snakes and backstabbers, you didn't know who to trust. It seemed like everybody had an agenda and was out to get Jacoba. But, Blu was right by her side to protect her and put them paws on anyone who wanted them. M. Monique was feeling spicy when she wrote this book because, everybody got it. She was killin' folks off left and right so, don't get too attached. Blu was an awesome follow-up to Uncovering Love. I loved everything about this book. The storyline flowed effortlessly and gave us a terrific ending to these characters. M. Monique brought the heat, the suspense, and the sexy. I highly recommend you read this book.

Yall this book was so good from the beginning to the end my goodness of course I love Grey but it’s something about Blu just does it for me !!
I’m glad the both of them got their happy ending though , they deserve it after all they went through!

This epilogue?! lmao that how you close out a chapter!
Jacoba and Blu were fated from the moment he first rescued her from her ex unknowingly. Jacoba knew whoever the agent was that saved her from her crazy ex was supposed to be hers and tbh she obsessed over him. Now I won’t say Blu didn’t do the same but Jacoba’s obsession topped with her personality was soo annoying at times. Like yes, you hired the sexy security who also doubles as an agent to be your security, but I was yelling for my girl to stand up in this book the first 50% lmao. You are doing too much and it’s a lot going on around you 😩. Luckily once Blu let Jacoba in he wasn’t letting her go and took his job to a new level! Blu wasn’t fighting his feelings hard and eventually gave in, but when more drama happens around them and they are put in a compromising situation Jacoba makes him pull back. And I think this is what irritated me the most, Jacoba being so obsessed with this man then reducing him to just security pissed me off. I was like girl bffr!! The suspense throughout this book really picked up after the pool party and tbh it became a lot at times but the story was still really good that I didn’t mind it too much. It was a lot of POVs and storylines picking up in the second half of the book. I still thoroughly enjoyed this story and will say I wasn’t expecting the stalker to do what he did, but I knew it was him. Sunny and Zeke got what was needed and Romeo was bold and stupid lol. Sceks scenes were steamy and tbh some of my fave parts in this book 🤭. I enjoyed the updates from Bleu’s family and seeing them rally around Jacoba’s family. It brought light to some of the heaviness occurring in the book. I think I liked Grey’s book better because it was more concise but would still recommend this one as it was still a good story!

Blue x Coba
These Summer brothers are the epitome of fine and BDE. They love so fiercely and they go so hard for their women. Although both Grey and Blu's stories were filled with drama, Blu's story was a bit more dark. Some of events in this story were so sad, but executed so nicely. Blue was so damn fine and his vernacular was...my goodness I loved it. And the BDE he oozes was almost unbearable. Jacoba's strength was also very admirable and she goes so hard for her family and valued them greatly. I was disappointed in how things turned out with Sunny, but I got over it. This book was definitely a page turner and I most definitely recommend this book.

i don’t wanna be a hater and but i give it a 3. it was alright. i absolutely hated how every woman was a “bitch, hoe or thirsty female” to Jacoba. i hated how aggressively jealous she was that she went out of her way to disrespect women. wack. i hated her last name and all those cringey pet names. it was way too insta lovey, literally were engaged after 6 weeks like wtf. and the romeo plot just fell through to me. feel like the whole “case” being solved got all the way dragged out, it was underwhelming.

Chile the way Blu described his love for Jacoba was next level. I was head over heels at this point.
These Summers' men were everything! I loved everything about Blu...his surly demeanor, protectiveness, confidence, his loyalty. Not to mention all of that BDE!!! He came off as quiet, but very intentional with his actions. He tried valiantly not to go there with Jacoba aka Miss Christmas, but he failed beautifully. Their connection refused to be denied and they fell hard and quick. Listen, this man's aura was just next level. The way he understood Jacoba, the ability to calm her down, his patience with her, his willingness to please her, his natural ability to take care of her. I mean my heart was bought in. You could truly feel that he loved her deeply. The fireworks that ensued when they finally physically connected, just reinforced Blu was that dude.
Jacoba was a passionate rapper that shared beautiful rhymes with the world. From the outside looking in, it seemed she was extremely blessed. The people around her were hella grimey with too many people praying for her downfall. After Blu unknowingly saved her from a bad situation, she was mesmerized by him even though he was unaware. Upon finally meeting him, the chemistry between them is everything and she makes it known that she is feeling him. She slowly knocks down his walls and he opens up to her. He finds himself embracing her family like his own. Jacoba has so much going on and at every turn people that she has entrusted are turning out to be snakes. All the backstabbing she is experiencing is enough to break anyone down, but Blu shields her and does his best to keep her together mentally.
I could go on and on about this book. I loved the way these two families came together and supported each other off the strength of Blu and Jacoba's love. The proposal and Blu's crass self was epic lol. The ending was wild and I just knew someone was going to end up with double trouble. I loved the details that were woven throughout the book.
This book is definitely worth the read. Make sure to read Uncovering Love first. Oh and Blu is my bookbae so don't get any ideas. He is not for the streets.

A man with BDE + suspense + plus good sex… SIGN ME UP!
This was sooo good and definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. I love a good grumpy/sunshine and Blu and Jacoba were just that. I loved all of twists and turns and found myself constantly trying to guess who done it. lol. Now I’m not sure we really needed Quay’s story line but I did like how she got her HEA. This first book was amazing and this took it up a notch! Can’t wait to dive into the rest of this series.

Doing a show she sees him and discovers his name is Blu and decides right then he not slipping away from her again getting him to guard her changes her life in more ways than one she discovers everyone not meant to come along on your journey and love doesn’t hurt when it’s with the right person! Sexy & serious and all man Blu is definitely changing her world.

When Jacoba asks him to be on her security detail he agrees, but vows to stay professional, although he’s extremely attracted to Jacoba.
Listen this one had a lot going on, in the best way. There were betrayals, murder attempts, stalkers, and crazy exes, but we also got so much passion, unconditional love, strong family bonds, and some 🔥 spice!
Can we talk about Quay and Jeremiah for a moment, I LOVE THEM! They were giving main character energy. I love a man who doesn’t half-step behind his woman, and Jeremiah played NO GAMES behind his woman. That entire birthday surprise was 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 like I said, he didn’t HALF STEP!
I will say I knew who the stalker was right away so that wasn’t a big surprise to me, and the ending with Romeo felt a little rushed.

After hearing how good this book is, why did i wait so long to finally read it. I loved Grey but baby BLU exudes BDE all throughout this book. He comes off ass mean but his swag and laid back demeanor will have you on a search for your own BLU. There was no denying the attraction between him and Jacoba no matter how hard they tried to hold back on their feelings. Jacoba just couldn't enjoy her peace without drama occurring. And unfortunately she had to learn that those she held dear were actually the snakes she needed to watch out for. BLU was not only her savior but the man she needed to love her, protect her and give her the happiness she deserved. I loved how their families immediately welcomed each other. I enjoyed every part of this book and highly recommend reading.

Look.... I already know what I'm going to get with a M Monique read, but this one was perfection! Move over Grey, cause Blu is the new bae in town! 😂 Poor Jacoba was dealing with hella drama in her life, and an escape could not come quick enough. Finding out that Blu was the mystery man that saved her, had Jacoba excited and terrified at the same time. BLU! Although he came off as rude, aloof, surly and mean; he was a good person underneath it all. The connection that he felt toward Jacoba made him run toward her, but also take a step back as well. He had an intense desire to protect her, but was afraid to get too close. The push and pull with Blu and Jacoba was understandable, as he had a job to do; but destiny intervened! Whew... the snakes and the crazies in this story chile! Romeo, Zeke, Sunni and that damn Richie; made me want to jump right onto those pages and handle some thangs! 😂 I loved how Blu began to let his defenses down when it came to Jacoba, and let love in. The way he stepped in and supported, cared for, protected and loved her was beautiful! The blending of the families and friends was amazing to watch unfold, as they all came together to support one another when all the ish was going down! Another great read! 👍👍👍
