She rocks the sexy nerd look. And catches me off guard. Has the player finally met his match?

No woman can resist me. Cocky is my middle name.

A fierce dreg in a warzone, I use the gentlest of ways to extract information. Seduction.

Until I meet Liz.

Her quiet beauty and inner strength call to me.

She’s not my type, yet I’m the one who can’t resist her.

But she doesn’t want me back. She despises me on sight. She is immune to me.

I lay a trap to friend-zone her, and she gets ensnared, trusting me little by little.

Now my heart is on the line. How does a player show he’s changed? How do I convince her she’s the only one I want?

Then a cunning mastermind intercepts my plans. He has an agenda of his own: steal my girl and see me dead.

Now it is a race against time to win this twisted game.

Will I be able to save her life without losing mine?

Lots of action and suspense!

The following ratings are out of 5:

Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏🌍
Character development: 😋😀😘😍🤩

The Hero: Ryan - he is one of The Dregs, a genetically enhanced soldier who was held in captivity as a child and experimented on through DNA manipulation a crazy group of people that were trying to make super-soldiers. He was given a bunch of animal DNA and like his friends, ended up with a particular ability. His ability is to secrete a pheromone which will drive any woman crazy with lust. He then can extract any information out of her that he needs or wants. Men didn’t go crazy with lust, but the pheromone acted like a truth serum. That was how he was used when he was running missions for his captors. Since his escape, he is quite a playboy. He doesn’t use the pheromone, as he always wants females to consent. Though with his good looks, the pheromone hasn’t been necessary.

The heroine: Liz - she was the business manager at a bed & breakfast inn in Medicine Park Oklahoma and had been for the last two years. She had sworn of men three years ago after her college boyfriend betrayed her. The owner of the inn, Glenda is a nice lady who is very pleasant to work for. In the winter months, when it wasn’t as busy, Glenda spent all her time looking for her son, who had been missing for fourteen years. She spent all her money on private investigators and false leads. Liz didn’t want to tell Glenda, but she thought that it was a lost cause, and the kid was likely dead.

The story: Ryan and his bonded friend Luke went out at night a lot after they escaped and they both had a lot of women, they often competed about who could get the most women. Though after a while, especially after many of the other Dregs had found mates, the lifestyle got stale and unfulfilling. Ryan wanted someone who actually wanted him, not just what he could give them for a night. He also wanted to reconnect with his mother who had given him up to the General (his father) when he was young. Though it could possibly be dangerous if Ellington, the one shareholder left from The Company found out he went there.

The premise sets off a wild ride where the two main characters are chased and/or cornered by The Company more than once and they get to know each other under less-than-ideal circumstances. Liz has some prejudices about men that look like Ryan, and she has to get over them all while finding herself uncontrollably attracted to him and connected to him in a way that she has never felt before. Plus, there was the great side storyline about Ryan wanting to reconnect with his mom and see if she is the mom he sort of remembers or if she willingly gave him away to a monster.

“And once I gave in, once he took what he wanted from me, he would kick me to the curb. Because that was what players did. They took and took until there was nothing left to take. Then they left, leaving nothing but carnage in their wake.”

“He thought he was going to make me bleed? Little did he know, I was going to make him bleed, too.

This book was as good as the previous books in the series. Though there were problems with the romance. I didn’t really believe how fast the two main characters fell so deeply in love with each other. There was plenty of action, some huge surprises and multiple scenes where one or both of the main characters were in quite a bit of danger. I don’t want to give away the plot, but I like how each one of the books in the series has a different main bad guy that they are up against. Even if I am not too fond of a villain that has better powers than any of the Dregs.

Awesome read as always. All if the books on the Dregs are amazing and a great read. I can’t wait to read the next and unfortunately final book about Luke ( who is like Ryan a player when it comes to women) should be interesting to see if he can be reformed and if he can get over the situation that happened to him near the end of this book. No, I’m not giving anything away, you’ll have to read it yourself lol. Leslie is an amazing author. This series is one I would usually read but I read the first one on a whim and I was hooked and I think you will be too. All books can be read as a stand-alone but I’m sure you’ll want to read the others in the series as soon as you read one . I’m not sure which genre she is writing under but I describe them has kind of sci/fi, thriller romance books. It’s definitely not your average romance or any if the other genres, kind of a mix of all. Once you start reading , you won’t want to put it down until your done. I hope after this series is done she continues in the same type of genre so I can continue to enjoy them. I know they can’t be exactly the same but I hope they’re just as thrilling to read as these are. Another 5 star awesome read Leslie, if I could give it more I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟🌟

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "THE EXTRACTOR" OMG!!!! What a rollercoaster ride hang on to your seat so much happens in this book it's full of action, suspense, intrigue, danger, kidnapping, abuse, secrets, and twists that you don't even see coming.
Ryan was one of the Dregs called "THE EXTRACTOR" his partner Luke the Enforcer were headed put of town with the other Dregs when he, Luke and Mateo took a detour to the touristy town of Medicine Park Oklahoma where his mother Glenda Martin owned an Inn.
Ryan and the Dregs showed up at the Inn and met Liz the manager and asked to speak to Glenda but she wasn't there and Ryan had to use his gift of releasing the Pheromone to get her give them information.
This is where everthing starts to unravel in this exciting thrilling addicting storyline you just can put down what a remarkable well written series by Leslie Georgeson and the characters are so interesting, entertaining, and well developed they pull you right into the story.
I definitely recommend to get this book it's really a must have series you don't want to miss such a unique read you'll be thrilled you got it. AWSOME AWESOME SERIES!!!!!

This is the 7th book in this series. It is awsome as all the others are too. The author pulls you in makes you feel. You get to know the characters, they come to life and you want them to get the life they deserve. It is the Enforcers turn to fall in love, find family and deepen his ties to his dreg brothers. This has so many things going on it. It makes you root for the dregs and all the good they are. Hate the bad guys and and all the evil they are. Ryan and Lizzz story is a can't put it down book. I can't wait to read Luke's story. Leslie is such a great story teller. I received it as an arc and this is my voluntary review.I recommend this book and this author to all.

I admit I did get a little misty eyed on all of the books so far, but Ryan’s story just got to me. I am so happy that Ryan went to meet his mom and found Liz even though she had unconsciously called the bad guys. Liz was kidnapped by Mark Ellington and his twin helped but they got her back each time. But they almost lost Luke because the twins turned him in to the controller but the dregs got him back. Ryan’s mom is going to move to Idaho with Ryan and Liz, they needed their happy ending also now for Luke.

The Extractor is the seventh book in The Dregs series and is Ryan and Liz's story about their rocky road to romance.

The characters are wonderfully developed and likable. The storyline is well written and full of action, suspense, kidnapping, secrets, danger, and a romance for the perpetual "Ladies Man". I am looking forward to reading the next book in this amazing series.

Ryan is part of the dregs. They were super soldiers who were injured and no longer needed so they were suppose to be terminated. They rebelled and escaped and now on the run. Ryan needs to see his mother. When he gets to his mother's bed & breakfast he meets Liz and knows she's different than any woman he's met. The Company finds them and they have to use all their skills to beat them. I really enjoyed this story

For the man that can have whatever he wants, whenever he wants it. What if he finds something that is not so easily swayed? Can he convince her to give him a shot? Is he prepared to get down to work for her attention? Lastly, he works hard, he gets the girl's attention, now he has someone that wants to destroy them both. This is Ryan and Liz's story. Enjoy!

The Extractor

Ryan is the ultimate player and his talent is that he has a pheromone that makes women sex crazy and they will tell him everything he needs to know. Liz is his mom's business manger at the inn she owns. She has been burned by a player before so she doesn't trust him. There is something really off about Mateo the guy they freed when they rescued Shannon from the facility.

I loved this series of books… I loved the guys of course, drool worthy imaginary yum-Yums. I really don’t know who was my favorite character personality but all books are well worth the read…
I enjoyed the origina lity of the Dregs and the story behind their training and was furious with the abuses they endured.
I had a hard time putting each of the stories down I spent most of the week on many short sleep nights… but well worth it.

Ah Ryan, the perpetual "ladies man" gets shot down for the first time ever in this book. It was pretty cool! Enter Liz with her sexy librarian look who has a tonne of doubts about Ryan's intentions. This love story had many twists and turns and possibly fewer detailed steamy scenes.

Liz and Ryan meet through his mom. Their relationship is rocky at best and a carnival ride of emotions. This story has action and chemistry and suspense. I like Ryan even more for his cocky attitude and lifestyle. This is a very interesting series.
