If I can travel Europe with my estranged sisters for three more weeks, I get four million dollars. Okay, I know what you’re saying. Poor baby, right? A free European tour isn’t exactly a sacrifice.
Unless you have to travel through Italy with Matteo Banelli and his annoying dog that keeps knocking you over. (Hey, I’m short and the dog is big, okay?)
Matteo is everything I despise—cocky, patronizing, and critical. Sure, he’s attractive, and his accent may be charming, but it’s not like I’m going to fall head over heels because he knows how to make authentic homemade pasta and randomly shows up with my favorite gelato.
Or even because he can rip off his shirt and dive into the Tiber after me when his stupid dog knocks me over the Saint-Angelo Bridge. (Seriously. Not my fault that I’m short.)
Italy may be for lovers, but Matteo will always be my enemy.
Now if I can only convince my heart.
Three sisters. Three cities. A traveling family saga full of misadventures, laughter, forgiveness, and falling in love.
This is the second sister to find her HEA, and I enjoyed how things resolved for Jillian.
While the sisters are still dealing with the forced proximity vacation, we learn a lot more about why Jillian can't commit.
I enjoyed the chemistry between she and Matteo. There were some twists that I didn't see coming, that maybe I should have, but I enjoyed their journey to their HEA, and the continuation of the sister's reconciliation.
So far, this series has been full of everything I enjoy reading - Family drama, sister dynamics, cute banter and fun situations, heart breaking and heart warming interactions, and a swoon-worthy HEA. 😍
I recommend this author and the series, and cannot wait to see Alexis find her forever love.
I was fortunate to receive a complimentary copy of this book (thank you) and happily leave my review.
This is the series' second book and follows the youngest sister. Three sisters need to travel together according to their grandfather's will for inheritance. In the first book, we see the Eldest daughter finding her long-lost love while traveling Paris and we continue from there when they visit Rome and the youngest sister meets a tour guide friend. They didn't get along at first but as soon as they spent time together something within them stirred. Falling in love wasn't easy for both of them given their past but they fell and fell hard. This was a great read and I would definitely recommend this book to all.
This is a fun, summer rom com with my favourite trope, enemies to lovers! Jillian takes an instant dislike to Matteo when she meets him in Rome, and he makes it clear that he's not interested in her either. But when he becomes her tour guide, they start to bond, and realise that they have more in common than they first thought. I enjoyed the first book in the series and it was so good to see Hunter and Kennedy again. Matteo seemed so arrogant at first, but I warmed to him, just like Jillian did. It made me want to go to Rome, the scenery was described so perfectly, and I loved the ending.
Jillie, the youngest sister, is the charming one—fun, sweet, but guarded. Her trust issues with men often make her seem superficial, even though she’s anything but. Enter Matteo, a gorgeous Italian friend of Hunter’s who’s been hurt before and is equally hesitant to try again. Their romance is fast—very fast—but it fits the “when you know, you know” vibe the book leans into. While their relationship develops quickly and sometimes feels a bit rushed, their chemistry is undeniable, and their personalities balance each other beautifully. A cute, whirlwind love story that adds warmth and levity to the series.
A fun European trip where three sisters are getting reacquainted. A divorce between their parents over ten years ago split up the family. Their mom had died not to long ago and than their grandfather died leaving his fortune to them. The condition was that they took a trip together for a month to get to know each other again. The oldest daughter, Kennedy, met her long time childhood friend, Hunter, and they rekindled their love from when they were neighbors. Jillian meets Hunter's best friend in Rome and the sparks fly. A captivating story with lots of side stories.
Delightful romance. 5* This book was the 2nd of the Travel sisters 3-part series. It was lovely to revisit my holiday destination. Rome is special even in the book's pages which the author successfully brought alive. The characters were well-developed and described and graced with witty dialogue. Both protagonists Jillian and Mateo were likeable and all characters were well described. Although they have both gone through their share of emotional traumas, they learn to trust each other to achieve a HEA in the end. I am happy to recommend this book to all rom-com lovers.
I enjoyed this book so much! It had all the feels and banter of a Hallmark movie but with way more depth and meaning. How this author manages to pack that much into a "under 200" page book is beyond me! I love the writing style of this book and the descriptions of Rome are beautiful! The banter between Matteo and Jillie (our two leads) was both funny and sweet. You also gotta love it when the MMC has a dog for a wingman!
I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.
This is the second book in which three sisters are travelling around Europe to receive their inheritance. In the book we read Jillian and Mateo. Jillie has really bad trust issues with men, meaning she tries to steer away from relationships. Mateo is best friend with Hunter who we met in the first book. Can Mateo help Jillie overcome her insecurities. Again this is a quick easy to read book and a brilliant addition to the series
Another winner by Sasha Hart!!! I can't believe I have MONTH to wait to read Alexis' amazing story with Brandon! In the meantime, I have Hunter and Kennedy's and Matteo and Jillie's stories to re-read and thoroughly enjoy....again! Matteo and Dante are a wonderful pair and how they win over Jillian is just absotively posolutely adorable!!!
