Dr. Brooke Collier is a department head at Southshore General Hospital and needs to make the hardest decision of her career. With costs going up and limited resources, funding needs to be cut. It’s up to Dr. Collier to choose where that funding will come from.
When Dr. Alicia Redford and Dr. Holly Fitz learn their clinic could be the one that loses funding, they take their concerns directly to the source at the hospital’s annual ball. Dr. Collier must contend not only with their argument for keeping their clinic but also with the feelings they’ve awakened. It’s hard to remain impartial when the women confronting her are the same ones she’s fantasized about.
2 stars. This was a mess and needed to be edited. The point of views were confusing and the writing wasn't that great. I've read much, much better from this author. Not sure what happened here.
