In "Explorations" a couple experiment with their sexual relationship, hoping to add more spice to their life by exploring some wilder acts of passion. It is a short story in several 'acts' if you forgive the pun,. describing in non exploitative ways how the participants feel and what it does to their relationship.
Sex is something personal that is difficult to write about and I found Bigelow's attempt at erotica apt but not excelling as he does in his horror writing. I did however like the way the story comes to a great conclusion for the couple.
