The story starts with the protagonist Sam, who juggles between his job and his school. His friends Jack and Salzaar are his families. They do things together and they are more like family to Sam. However, as the story catches pace, Sam hears a mysterious voice which shakes him from within. However, he discusses this with his friends and they start on a mission. Furthermore, the story unfolds many twists and turns which lead to an ultimate end.
First of all, the storyline is interesting. A completely different plot and storyline. Balancing between the present and another world is excellent. Characterisation is brilliant. The writing style is somewhat intricate and due to this reason, it becomes difficult to comprehend. It could have been a little lucid. Overall, the book is gripping till the end as it takes you to another world with whole new experience. The commendable job was done by the author. Recommended to all those who are looking for some different yet roller coaster read can surely pick this one.
Negatives– First of all, the author has used a lot of words that need a dictionary. Continuous usage of such words breaks the consistency while reading. Therefore, they should be avoided. Secondly, at some places in the middle of the book, the story lacks interest as those were not needed.
Rest, no flaws.
