This short story explores the awakening of new sexuality between two friends. Although they had known each other for some time, discovering their Grindr profiles made them realize that perhaps one of them wasn’t as straight as he had believed.
Lucas Blaze unfolds the narrative through what initially seems like multiple text messages to his best friend, "D," while they watched a movie. As the notifications kept coming, "D" left the room, and he noticed the Grindr symbol appearing on his screen.
Later, he logged onto Grindr, finding his friend and realizing that his profile intrigued him. Soon after, the two friends began messaging each other. This marked a pivotal moment for both as they embraced their newly discovered shared sexuality.

Soon he’s getting messages from guys wanting to hook up. Then, before he has a chance to delete his profile and the app, he gets a message from Damon.
They flirt and Damon invites Seth over. Damon is shocked to learn that Seth is the one he’s been messaging but they eventually hook up.
