Great artwork, fun concept. There was just a lot I didn’t get and some jumping around of the story that felt too disjointed.

"Kosher Mafia" combines gritty and taste specific artwork with a violent but fairly pedestrian tale of intrigue and conflict between criminal organizations. The distinguishing elements of this book are its historical context and focus on a mafia organization within a Jewish community. Although this provides an intriguing and unusual look at an often ignored historical topic the story itself is uncomplicated and may fall flat for some hard core crime fiction fans.

The story was... ok.
The art was... ok.
None of it was bad, I just was hoping it had more of a Godfather kind of feel to it.
