What a wild ride that was. Who doesn’t love a good angels and demons story. Rook is hilarious and I’m here for more of his shenanigans. Can’t wait to see where this goes with book 2. Our girl Kinley can’t catch a break and that spice was spicing. Ends on a cliffy. Read it, you won’t be disappointed.

For the love of all things holy, Sadie is the absolute worst when it comes to cliffies. Like, I don't even know where to go from here, other than submerge myself into a tub of ice cream and tears. What in the eff is wrong with you woman? Why? Why do you do this to us? 🙄
This book is everything and more! Paranormal is definitely doing good for you, ma'am. And I'm here for all of it, especially since I MUST have the next book because I'm over here dead at the bottom of the cliff anyway.
But Kin...this woman. She's something else. She's cray cray in so many ways. But those men of hers? Phew, they're just as bananas. Especially Rook. Man, I love everything about him and more. He can bring me sammy's any time he'd like, especially if he has a side of rubber ducks too! 🤣

This was my first Sadie Winchester book and i'm pretty sure it won't be my last and that's not just because it ended on a cliff-hanger.
I need to stop reading the trigger warning list like it was a shopping list. I'm pretty sure they aren't put there for me to get excited because I haven't read said trigger in a while.
I am 100% not a religious person but I do love the whole angels and demons thing so I had to give this one a go. Add in the why choose element and we have a winner.
All in all I liked it. I liked the characters, I really liked the story I can't wait for book 2. I just hope that the March 26 is just a place holder as I don't think I can wait that long to see what happens next.

Holy angels and demons! This is the first of Sadie Winchester’s books I have read and I am an instant fan! I loved this book, and honestly she has lived up to her name the queen of cliffhangers because this book left me edging!!!
This dark paranormal romance gives Angel and demons a different light and I’m living for it. The author definitely created a story with an interesting plot and characters, I was seriously glued from start to finish. Definitely recommend this to all those dark PNR lovers out there.

The cliffhanger!!! Aghhhhhh!!!
So I don't know if I should be worried when I immediately fell in love with Rook...I picked demon over angel and probably would pick Rook any day over any angel..makes me want to learn to love PB&J sandwhiches... iykyk..lmao.
Def would recommend this book for someone who loves the darkness but also has hope for a little bit of light. Can not wait to see what happens in book 2!!

I absolutely freaking loved this book Kinley is my crazy spirit animal!!! Also Rook is my jam man forever everyone back off!!! I can’t wait to read the second book Sadie wrote another amazing book that I can’t get enough of!!

Woahhh… let me start my saying this book is nothing like Sadie’s first series, but is it good!? Damn right is. Ms. Winchester outdid herself with this books, there is really nothing she cannot write at this point.
This book is full of darkness, sadness, craziness and SMUT so much smut, but more than anything if full of love in a very weird way 🤣 I hope I make sense. I loved the way Sadie wrote this book so much, you would laugh, cry and get mad. An emotional rollercoaster from the very first page until that last freaking page with the cliff, cuz of course it wouldn’t be a Sadie Winchester’s book without the heartbreaking cliff right!? 🙄 Our angel K is nothing but a brat and everything needs to be HER way, she’s feisty, aggravating annoying and so hard head it my god the fact that she has 3MC is beyond me but you would love her cuz she’s just this little fiesty thing with a sense of humor. Each of the MC are unbelievable, and omg Rook is something else 🤣 this man is hilarious, he’s the one that keeps the party together if you ask me. But Atlas, my sweet sweet man, my favorite out all of them, he’s perfection. Sylas, oh Sylas you uptight, sexy, archangel he is just so to himself but when it come to going down, this man has a delicious MOUTH, bring it on baby 🤪!
I have nothing but great things to say about this amazing book, the plot the scenes, the flow just perfect! Cannot wait for book 2.

Hands down such a wonderful story. The plot was so thick it wasn’t even funny! I absolutely loved Kinley! I loved her spunk! Our 3 men in this story were everything I hoped for them. We have our guardian angel, archangel, and our lovely tricksters. These 3 men were there for our girl when she needed it the most. But that ending!!! Omg I was in complete tears over it and I cant wait to see what happens in Book 2! My heart literally jumped out of my chest for that ending i was mad, sad, but relieved. Because she knew in order to end it all it had to end with…If you haven’t read this yet go and get it because you wont be disappointed this book was beautifully written, the plot was so good, and that cliffhanger will make you want to know what happens next. Because I know I’m wanting to know what happens next.

Kinsey is a fallen angel and Lucifer's second in command, but she's tragically losing her grip on reality. It seems Rook, a demon trickster, Atlas, a guardian angel, and Sylas, an archangel, are stepping in, hoping to somehow ease her descent and prevent her from succumbing completely to the darkness.
This book is fantastic; like, seriously so freaking good I couldn't put it down. It's beautifully descriptive and filled with well-written spice (I mean, come on, who doesn't want angels and demons to bow down? Yeah, you get the drift). The story just gets better and better the more you read, and the characters are amazing, especially Rook (I've found my new book boyfriend here). He's hilarious and devious, and he gives total pirate vibes, "mate", and that tongue might go a long way to keeping me happy, coughs.
Parts of this had me howling (OK, pun intended) as that entire dog scene had me cackling with laughter. Side note: where does one purchase that type of dog?
Lastly, that ending ohh my nooooo I wasn't prepared for that, I need the next book asap.

Kinley is a powerful woman or should I say a fallen angel. So, it would only stand to reason that she deserves three powerful men in her life. They are Altas, Rook and Sylas. These three guys are the perfect combination.
Kinley using the word "cantankerous" to describe Sylas is accurate. I love Rook's cheekiness, which should not be a surprise as he is a trickster demon. Every time that Rook was in a scene is a great time. Although, the moments between Kinley and Altas were another story. Because of the close bond they shared from their previous life, they shared a very deep connection.
While this book did have its share of steamy scenes; it was the emotional connection that I enjoyed the most. Because emotions are just as important as the physical side. Without the deep connection, it does not mean that much.
Sadie does take me on a roller coaster ride with this book, only to leave me with a cliffhanger. I look forward to reading the follow up book to this duet.

Why choose angels or demons when you can have both
Wow..... I am not even sure how to handle that ending.... I immediately need to know what happens now.
Kinsley is chaos and when she gets angry people don't survive. She is Lucifer's second in command and has a precarious hold on her mental state. She is also irresistible to Demons and Angels.
Rook is absolutely everything. He is a Demon who enjoys feeding his woman his favorite PBJ sandwiches.
Alex is her blast from the past who's newest responsibilities are freaking hysterical and he isn't good at it. But they are fire together.
Sylas pretends he isn't interested because he really shouldn't be but Kin is persuasive. This relationship cracks me up and the way she gets what she wants is fantastic.
I can't even guess at this point what will happen next but I need to know.
"You are my eighth deadly sin, and there are not enough prayers in all the heavens that will save me from your temptation"

That ending.... that cliffhanger. This book was a rollercoaster. It took a good chunk of the book to really get into it. But once I did, I devoured the rest.
I didn't care much for Kinley. Honestly, I thought she was a bit over the top. I know she's crazy but she's a little much. More towards the end, she only got worse. Then that ending and my heart broke. No one should have to go through that.
Rook, Sy, and Atlas were amazing. Their banter was hilarious. Each one had their own qwirks. The way they loved Kinley in their own way showed just how much she meant to them.
This book is very plot heavy with a little spice. There's multiple spicy scenes and a very spicy scene. The action was great, it flowed like it should.
My favorite scene would have to be when Kin let it slip about Sy's toothbrush. I cracked up laughing.
If you enjoy PNR with plot twists. This is worth checking out.

Just to much drama and it was a spicy page turner and the suspense was intense. It was addicted and entertaining was outstanding and chaos. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. This was insane and drama and the action packed of madness. Kinsey was an fallen angel of being Lucifer's second in command not based on her tragically losing her grip on reality. Now Rook was the demon of them all and he was the trickster and now Atlas was the guardian angel, and Sylas, was the archangel. Love was in the air and the romance was forbidden in higher power. Will she loss her power for falling in love with archangel. Will they have a happily ever after in this moment.

This is a dark romance involving fallen angels and demons which was a first for me and let me tell you I was blown away!! Kinley, Atlas, Rook and Sylas are quite the combination in this “Why Choose” story and the spice is off the charts!!!! Though I was rooting for Kinley and Atlas I have to say that Rook was a close second. His personality and the way he handles Kinley and her antics is unmatched. Be sure to check the triggers on this one because the spicy scenes get intense and the detailed description makes you feel as though you are there with them and may be too much for some. Sadie has once again given us a story you can’t put down and the ending….I have no words!! The cliffhanger queen has done it again!! I really liked this book, loved the characters and can’t wait to see what’s in store for them!

The cliffhanger 😭 my goodness, I need the second book! Everything about this story was written beautifully. The relationship between Kinley, the archangel Sylas, The guardian angel Atlas, and the trickster Rook….. you could feel how much she needed all of them for a different purpose and how much they loved her and would give anything for her. The story instantly sucks you in from the beginning and paints a beautiful picture of Kinley’s struggle between light and dark. Kinley is a fallen angel turned into Lucifer’s second in command but there seems like a deeper darkness there. While losing herself to her mind, these three men grow to love her and help her in any way that they can to keep her from the brink of insanity…. All while facing off with a powerful demon. Will they be able to save Kinley from herself? Or will she succumb to the darkness of her mind?

Now this was a sick and twisted ride, but I loved every minute of it! Paranormal looks good on you Sadie! Kinley is trying to have a normal life being Lucifer's second in command and it just isn't going very well. She somehow has her ex boyfriend (Atlas), who is supposed to be dead, come back into her life as her guardian angel. She also has Rook (trickster demon) and Sylas (archangel) always being around her. Then the demon who killed Atlas keeps harassing her and leaving "gifts" saying he is back for more harm. There is so much smut, but it did so very well I'm this book. Also I am team ROOK!!! I am definitely not going to look at peanut butter and jelly sandwiches the same though ifykyk. That cliffhanger though! I need the next one now!!

Our FMC is a twisted brat who was born on the wrong side. Some people aren’t born to be an angel, but to be the hell of an angel. Like our FMC.
The best thing about her is that she’s so twisted and that it's SO funny. Loved it!
The MMCs have very different personalities and backgrounds, but with one thing in common: the love for our beautiful, damaged Kinley!

If you are, then trust me this book is an absolute must-read for you! I havent read a book that the story line had me so Entranced. Chapter 29 was so Long waited for I thought would never happened but when Sylas took over to preening of her wings was so dam hot 🔥 🥵
But chapter 40 had me reaching for my box of tissue 🤧 I can not wait to read Redemption Awakening I am hooked on a Guardian Angel, Heavens warrior, and an eccentric Trickster and an beautiful fallen Angel. I will highly recommend this book to everyone
