Adorable small town romance

Set in the Pacific Northwest this cozy best friends to lovers romance has everything from sweet fall romance to spicy scenes. There are a few typos which always seem to pull me from the book world but overall a very fun read

I loved this book! I was able to read it as an ARC. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite themes, so I may have been the target audience specifically. The characters were lovable and well written. I felt very invested in their relationship.

The pacing was good, I never felt like any part was thrown in as filler. The intimate scenes were descriptive but not overly so.

Normally cute sweet books like this are the kind I read once and never again, but I believe I’ll re-read this every year in late summer to put me in a fall mood. This book has fall feelings in every single chapter and it will definitely put you in the mood for some cooler nights and trees changing colors.

I’m sorry to say it but I HATED this book. I picked it out in a little library in the south hill of spokane and it looked like a cute little fall romance book. Plus it was set in washington state so it felt like i HAD to read it. But this book was so dang cheesy and there was legit no suspense for anything which ruined every possible plot twist. Like the couple got together in the second chapter after some wildly unbelievable events. (They are supposedly best friends of 15 years and had never slept in a bed together and he accidentally cuddles her in his sleep?? and then they start making out when her mother cock blocks them???) Like I honestly don’t know how I got through this book. There were also some spelling errors which I noticed and clocked immediately. The character also were incredibly annoying, especially Lia. It was also hard to believe they were supposed to be 29 and 30 years old because they acted like they were in middle school half the time. The ex girlfriend, Jana, was practically a comical character and she really just annoyed me because everything was so predictable. I also feel like way too much stuff happened in the span of a 2 months to even keep up with the lack of character development. I gotta hand it to the author though, there were some really steamy scenes that were written well…

I hate giving a book such a low rating but the whole time i was reading this i was plotting my good reads review. I do not recommend this book unless you want to read the most predictable and cheesy romance book ever. Although I did enjoy the references to different parts of Washington state!

I love it

I love everything about this book. I hope Allie continues to write about the other characters in the book. If you love friends to lovers then I recommend this book. This book had me laughing and crying. It has everything you would want in a romance story. I would love to read how everyone else turned out.

So good I read it in one day!

If you are looking for a romantic novel that has some spiciness to it this is one. I was captivated from start to finish and couldn’t put it down!
