Wow this book really drained me. I have been a fan of Hunter's since her first appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful and this was an interesting memoir but man talk about making a lot of mistakes in regards to the abusive relationship she was in and turning to alcohol. I did tear up at the parts about her youngest child who was born with tumors on her eyeball and the stress of having a child need to go through chemo. I really did feel for Hunter. I just wish she didn't put up with such a toxic marriage for so long.

I'm a self admitted soap opera fan, and I've been a fan of Hunter Tylo on The Bold & The Beautiful since I started watching a long time ago. This book outlines her early career, marriages, acting roles, family struggles, and more. The interesting part is how honest Hunter is about her life, both good and bad. Usually in autobiographies, the author tends to gloss over negative aspects of their lives and experiences. This isn't the case here, and it's quite refreshing. Perhaps most interesting is her legal battles when she was fired from Melrose Place before she started shooting because she was pregnant. The court case was fascinating to read about. She also writes about her daughters diagnosis with eye cancer. Of course there is a lot of nods to Christianity and how it got her through her struggles. It is a bit heavy handed near the end, but not too preachy. Overall it's an interesting book to read.

This is one of my favorite books ever. While I love soap operas, i am not an avid bold and the beautiful fan, but you dont have to be to enjoy this book. Hunter Tylo has one of the most fascinating and tragic lives, and she writes all about it in this very very honest autobiography. She is not afraid to make herself sound bad in this book, and that makes for a very juicy and ultimately uplifting book.

The Bold and the Beautiful soap opera star tells the story of her marriages and career. She takes us from drunken, jealous brawls with her husband to her affair in India to finally finding God and reconciling with her husband. I was very moved by her honesty and near the end almost cried when her new baby loses an eye to cancer. I admire Hunter and am glad she shared herself.

Very touching story about Hunter and her family. Whew! They've been through a lot, especially her daughter Katya's eye surgery. I enjoyed reading this book since it came from her, not some tabloid.
