The pop culture references are everything, definitely sets the book apart from others. The twist at the end was genuinely shocking and I can’t wait til book 2 is done. I NEED TO KNOW WHO THE FOX IS
Loved this book! My only critique is that I need more! Definitely am anxiously waiting for what comes next because let me tell you, I could not put it down and will be keeping my eye out for when book two comes out.
The references throughout make it feel like you’re hanging out with your best friend and makes you wish you can spend the day with all the characters.
Who doesn’t love a book with a twist am I right?! The amount of excitement I have for this book is endless!
I loved this book so much! Not giving any spoilers but this was such a great world to get lost in. I love witty banter and well thought out characters and a strong FMC , this book has it all. The plot is great, and Prince Charming is not who we think he is so that’s a great twist! Book is definitely worth the read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I truly didn’t see the twist at the end coming, and everything you find out is just wow. It’s a lot to take in but definitely adds to the story.
Let’s start with Wren. One question, what is she?? She’s from the 21st century, so you get some pop culture. She’s funny and learns quickly.
Now Atrea. She’s feisty, and fierce. But she’s also kind, and caring. She hides it all under a false exterior, with my guess being because she has always given up things for her brother. And would have done anything for him.
Now Caspian. One word, Tamlin. That’s my thoughts summed up. I seriously thought he was this sweet charming guy, one of the good ones. Why? I was so wrong on my opinion about him. I suspected something along the lines of this after Wrens visit to the library but I thought maybe it would have been Atrea. Nope, no it was not. It was all him. A mastermind.
And why did it have to land on a cliffhanger!?!!
I definitely recommend this, it is a great fantasy romance read and one I will not be forgetting.
This was a great young adult fantasy. I loved the overall story and characters in this book. I enjoyed following Wren as she discovered a whole new magical world and stepped into her newfound role. There were many moments that had me laughing and smiling as well as some unexpected twists. I appreciated the various pop culture references throughout the book and how that helped set Wren apart from the Fae world that she was now a part of. Overall this was a great start to a series and I look forward to reading the next book.

How refreshing to find a young adult fantasy series that encompasses humor, pop culture and plot! The pages turn quickly in this fantastical story of blood accords. Wren, our FMC, finds herself in the world of the fae where she doesn’t know the rules and has to delve into her own family history. Add in a handsome prince and an antagonistic sister and you’ve got yourself a journey down the winding road of twists and turns in The Fox’s Den. I thoroughly enjoyed this story; the banter, the joking and the hint of relationships to come. Can’t wait to read the next one!
This was pretty good! Maybe a bit too YA for me but I enjoyed it! The ending I saw coming from a mile away though which was a bit of a disappointment! I’ll probably continue the series though so I can see how things play out!
I loved the main character's voice! It was engaging and drew me into the story. The world-building was also great. I'm ready to dive into the second book!
This is the first book in a series by indie authors. I really, really enjoyed this first book. I liked that the fantasy aspect did not start right away. That anticipation of when it will be revealed is a slow burn, but there is nothing boring or slow about that process. And it has realistic fantasy aspects to it, and I really enjoyed and appreciated that. The ending ends on a good suspenseful cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the second book.
