Life as an ER doctor is intense. A shift can turn from mundane to insane in a matter of moments depending on what walks in, or crawls in, the door. Dr. Cameron Turner was no stranger to death. It happened all the time in the ER, but usually not to the doctor. When an irate patient loses control, Cameron crumbles to the ground with a mortal wound.
While the team races to save their colleague from certain death, Cameron opens his eyes and finds himself face-to-face with God. He is offered something he has sought his entire life. The ability to heal anyone of anything, but it comes with a catch that only he knows about. The gift is not unlimited, and its expiration date matches his own.
Cameron must choose when to use the gift, and faces unforeseen consequences when his choice angers those around him, including inside his own family. The world proves it is not prepared for undeniable acts of God which sends Cameron into hiding for his own safety. Robbed of his freedom and his family, he plans an epic finale that will change the hearts of even those who persecuted him.
Reviewer's Your book kept me riveted, and I managed to squeeze in time to read it, and just finished a few minutes ago. I have read a lot of Christian fiction, and it can be pretty predictable at times. Your book was not!I really enjoyed it, and the message was excellent.
Did you ever read a book so good that you struggle to find your next read? Yeah, that's where I'm at after reading Brian Hartman's Sacrificial Touch. I have tried a few books from my TBR pile but nothing is catching my attention, so I am re reading an old favorite. Sacrificial Touch sticks with you long after you are done reading it, The premise of God giving you the one thing you want even though it comes with a catch is intriguing. I loved the characters in this book. Cameron and Addison were very realistic. The fact that Cameron's gift restored people's faith in God was fantastic. This book was my favorite book read in January and is most likely going to be high on my top ten list for 2025.
So grab a beverage, a snack and a blanket then turn off your phone and snuggle up for a great read.
I like happy endings, and this one does not have that....but I still consider it an awesome read. It makes you think, and the author did a fantastic job of portraying what a man's life would be like if he could heal people, yet lose a month of his life for each person healed. I was an emotional wreck when I finished it, but wow. The author's Christian fiction debut was a hit out of the park.
I have loved every book I have read by this author but this was the most amazing yet!! I really hope this is picked up by a Christian producer and made into a movie. This book contains a message believers and non believers need to hear. What an amazing read! Don't miss out!
I always like his style of writing. His writing has a smooth easy flow, that reminds me of James Patterson. This a thriller that leads to faith and belief. It has tones of "Left Behind". I enjoyed this book.
The story was filled with real emotions. The testimony of God's love was openly shared. There were a few typos and places where Cameron's name was used in relation to a miracle when it should have been God.
This book was excellent. Not your stereotypical Christian novel. Which are pleasant, but usually predictable. It presents exactly what would happen if a miracle worker appeared in our midst. Recommend highly.
This book definitely increased my desire to see Heaven! The sacrifice of blessings for others Is what God's will is for us daily. We must Trust and obey and God will deliver! Beautiful Story!
I enjoyed the story line. It was believable! It was a page turner! He had detail but not too much. You could feel various emotions through out the story. Can't wait to start the next book.
Dr. Hartman opens a question we must all deal with—what will I do with the gifts God has given to me? We don’t have to be hero’s, but we all have a part of His plan and purpose to serve Him while we have life in earth.
This was a very good book.LOVED THE STORYLINE.The characters were great,I loved the biblical references,it would be awesome to heal people with a touch.
This book is a testimony builder to those who may be going through a faith crisis. I loved that it wasn’t predictable, I thought I knew what was coming next but I was wrong! Thanks for reminding me who I am and to remember my faith!
It held me from cover to cover. I cried and cheered when bringing the arrogant Han's around to Jesus. The world needs more of this. Keep up the good work
