Perils aplenty in this one!
If you follow this series, don’t miss this story. If you are new to this series, don’t miss this story. In keeping with a longstanding reputation for never disappointing the readers, P. D. Workman has given us another riveting tale featuring lovable and engaging characters embroiled in a mystery which is riddled with suspense, punctuated by spots of laugh-out-loud humor and skillfully woven with valid insights into compassion, acceptance and ecological responsibility. Reg Rawlins, along with her friend and landlord Sarah and her firecasting mentor Davyn, find themselves at the center of some events which are quite bizarre, even for the magical community of Black Sands. Between werewolf curses, people turning to stone and a raging wildfire with a mind of its own, Reg and her friends certainly have their hands full. Adding to their cornucopia of comedic and calamitous chaos are armored flying monkeys, persnickety trolls, and deep sea monsters. In such times it is good to have a couple of fire-breathing dragons on your side. So, seriously, do yourself a favor and don’t miss this story. I enjoyed every page. I only wish I could get my cat to make amends for his misdeeds the way Reg’s cat does.

Reg must join with her witch landlady Sarah and mentor Davyn, to remove a curse from her ambiguous hunter paramour Corvin, then decide what to do about his and another's past deeds, to restore balance in Black Sands.
A fast-paced, paranormal mystery which has been eagerly awaited, that definitely satisfies, (despite a rather abrupt ending and teaser for the next in series).
Grab a copy as soon as the store of your choice opens and prepare to be bewitched!

Wow! Reg really needs to use all of her powers in this book! She has much more to offer than just her psychic abilities. And having to use them to put to right the things Corvin and his cronies…er…coven had done to the elementals. I love this series and eagerly await the next adventure!

Reg, Sarah and Davyn have their work cut out for them this time as unexpected things start happening. What an exciting adventure this book is. I love the magical characters and of course, Ember, the dragon. Looking forward to their next adventure.

This is a continuation of the previous book in the Reg Rawlins series. This story picks up right where the last book leaves off. After Reg discovers who it was who was in her dreams causing havoc, she is now tasked with another mystery--why are members of the community turning into stone? Is this tied into her dreams? Is this a random occurrence? Follow Reg through the story to find out! This is an on-the-seat-of-your-pants mystery and you will not want to put this one down!

I absolutely love all of the books I've read from P.D. Workman. I love their writing style, and how easy it is to read a book quickly. If you love a cozy mystery with a touch of paranormal, you will love these books!

Reg is among my favorite fictional characters, so I always look forward to a new book in this series. I am never disappointed! Ms. Workman can always be counted on to deliver a creative tale with distinctive characters and imaginative plots. Highly recommended! I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.

Once again the author has produced an outstanding book that you done want to miss out on. Can Psychic Reg and her friends solve the case of the curse. Can they stop it in time. Can’t wait for the next one.
