The Happy Spirits Hotel is anything but. A temporary pitstop for lonely wandering souls who refuse to pass into the afterlife, the haunted hotel is home to ghosts who spend their days lamenting their choices they made when they were alive.
The residents - a pregnant teen who committed suicide when her boyfriend left her, a high school jock with a bright future, a scorned woman who killed her cheating husband, a conventional 9-to-5 man who never had a chance to pursue his dream of music, a lonely old lady whose married lover never left his wife - are a cruel, mean bunch that will resort to backstabbing, betrayal and trickery in a desperate attempt to get another chance at life.
And then, one day, their chance comes in the form of Celia, a recently-deceased struggling teen actress. All hell breaks loose as the resident spirits discover that she holds the key to a second chance, whipping them into a frenzy. The fighting, backstabbing and drama begin....
