Very Fascinating and I’m glad I got to read it on my time off of school.
Will be a book I need to keep by hand to study more and look at/refer back to.
But I urge anyone who is interested in church history to read this historic document and the multiple translations in this book.

The Translators did well in providing well-formatted and refined versions for easy reading and understanding. It was comprehensive.
I've always believed you don't know where you're going until you know where you've been. The first 300 years of the church Christians did not have a canonized Bible, they had oral teachings, guidelines, and letters that were referenced and revered. The Didache is the encapsulation of those teachings since the very beginning. It covers the basics in a straightforward manner that even the laymen can conceptualize and live out. There is emphasis on the Church and the holy Eucharist, which should open the eyes of a Protestant. It did to me. Christ left us a church, not a Bible. Good read overall.

Early Church Catechism
While this was translated with old English translation I still found this easy to read. Each section expounded upon the teachings so I was able to grasp something a bit different in each iteration. It’s kind of like a super condensed version of Acts of the apostles from the Bible.

Early Catechism Handbook
I enjoyed reading the four authors versions and seeing how it all lined up. I was bored after the third, but honestly this was a great reference as a new Orthodox Christian.

It's an interesting read and part of early church history. I appreciate this printing for the side by side comparison of multiple translations.

Great piece of Church history. Also a super easy ready, 10 minutes max. I appreciate the various translations included in this book.

4 translations of an ancient document dated somewhere between A.D. 80 and A.D 160.
Document clearly lacks Pauline influence.

Very simple read. Gives basic instructions of the Christian life, focusing on the Two Ways. Many quotes from Holy Scripture. Must read for Christians.

My evangelical upbringing left me completely unaware of the Apostolic fathers and their writings. I loved seeing the corroboration of scripture and the practical aspects of early church policies and procedures (so to say) in the Didache. The various translations added richness and understanding to what was intended through the teaching. Enjoyable and insightful.
