Natasa, guardian of the Underworld, is as cold and merciless as the scales of justice, trained to rid evil from the three realms. When her closest—and only—friend is stolen from her, Natasa will do anything to get her back, even if it means teaming up with an evil even Hades himself craves to destroy.
Forced to charm …
The only thing Sinis, descendent of alluring, corrupt Gods, cannot charm his way out of is the curse burned into his neck. Until the towering warrior stumbles upon a snarling Natasa. Blunt, stubborn, and immune to his every compliment, if she wasn’t the most stunning being he’s ever seen in plated armor, he’d leave her in the chains where he found her.
Born of Olympus and the Underworld, they’re destined to hate each other. But when Sin discovers Natasa’s lost friend holds the key to curing his curse, he’s unsure if the Fates have blessed or doomed him. What begins as a reluctant partnership slowly ignites into an overwhelming passion, and as the hunt furthers and danger approaches, Sin realizes he’ll stop at nothing to protect and possess Natasa … the very things she fears most.
Featuring a saucy demigod, a ferocious heroine, and a tangle of powerful creatures in a world where Zeus and his children are always watching, Never Lovelier is a steamy fantasy romance with a happily ever after.
M L Chambers writes contemporary romance and fantasy romance with passionate heroes, stubborn heroines, and a heavy dose of steam, pining, and danger mixed in.
A try-anything-once aficionado, she loves to include both new and obscure experiences in her stories.
When she’s not consuming books, M is skiing (alpine and water) or cuddling up with her collie and cat.
A four star plot but the grammar and spelling made it almost unreadable :( I liked the first one so I thought I’d give it a go to pass time at work but truly I didn’t understand half of it bc of typos and confusing grammar. If it was better edited it would’ve slayed
If there is one thing you can count on, is MLC writing a sad, soft, perfectly imperfect MMC and an FMC who will rip your fucking heart out and make you thank her for the attention.
I can’t stop singing “Down Bad” but in the best way possible. This man, this Demigod, is the Simp of all Simps (non-derogatory) and Nat is the hardest nut in all the land (also non-derogatory). The banter. The literal enemy to lovers on one side but HARDCORE lover to lovers on the other. Urrrrgh my teeth hurt with how sweet Sin is, and my heart hurts with his damaged he is. And the conflict in Nat? My god, she is a fucking mess of a Fury and it’s so real and authentic and nuanced.
And to SHAVE HIS HEAD?! Omg that was the horniest part of the book. A blond man - how dare he - shaving his head cuz he was high on caffeine pills he chugged for his woman? Woof barf WOOF
I love them. I love this book. I wanna smack Eros in the face with a dildo, and I wanna make Hades choc chip cookies. Also, Persephone? Damn, Queenie, you made me HORNY 😏
Meh, 3☆s for the plot being entertaining. The writing wasn't very good, I found myself getting lost or whiplash between whose emotions was whose and how they changed so quickly. Honestly I was reading through confusion for at least 20% of the book, kept going for the plot and the main plot isn't even resolved by the end so kinda feels like a non ending. There were a couple other things I didn't like but that's more to do with the vibes and certain characteristics I felt were contradictory in the MMC and FMC. Overall I kept reading for the plot, which was okaaaaayy, not overwhelmingly great but I enjoyed it.
What was worth the read thought was the banter. And damn the way the MMC sweet talks 🤣. The fact that he just doesn't know when to stop had me dead. Honestly and the nicknames! So so so so worth it. Top tier banter.
The chemistry + the baddas fmc + the background without it being obvious + the obsessed, fall at her feet man = hook line and sinker. Or how they say in Australian, hook line and sinka
I swear, everything M L Chambers writes has me glued to the screen, ignoring life and hydration while absorbing the juicy details. I was KICKING MY FEET at this book. A physical reaction to words!? She steals my soul. I love this, love the evolving story, the in depth information, and everything i’m learning about the greek mythology. Is it real? Who cares, gimme more. M, babe, i hope your messy bun sits how you want it, your iced latte is perfectly sweet, and someone appreciates your brain like i do cause DANG anything you write i love.
Okay this was just as good as the first book in the series! I absolutely loved the enemies to lovers and the will they won’t they! This whole book just had me at the edge of my seat waiting to know what will happen next!
It’s a definite must read but I think you need to read the first book first to understand this book!
This is a great story. The characters flesh out well. Fast paced and action packed. But it needs editing to correct the grammar and syntax. Which would take the story down to a 3 star. I would even offer to do it for free it’s such a good story
This book is so lovely and just as good as the first in this series- if not better. The Greek mythology background is so interesting in this book and the characters are very real and messed up and endearing. A heart wrenching lovely story, will be anxiously awaiting the third in this series.
Loved the story and the potential it had. I Just hated the editing. It felt like it was full of grammaticale errors. Because of the it was hard to understand. I felt like I only understood half of what was written two pages later. A bummer.
Girlll the spelling and errors were not even that horrible some of these reviews are really harsh for nothing. It’s a damn good book and a fantastic love story filled with yearning and passion 5⭐️!
I… can’t even write a proper review rn because this book had finished me, not the other way around,
What the hell? Why I can’t give more than 5 stars? This was a masterpiece. I have never annotated anything like this, I can’t even remember how much i had annotated, but I'm saving them, and would reread them whenever I need to read about love,
Because if Sin wasn’t the resemblance of (I would die for your love),I don’t know who can resemble it probably.
