Reed Johnson is a playboy bachelor with an aversion to kids, families or anything resembling the American dream. Until a one-night-stand with the beautifully alluring Gia Fanzio.
There’s a period after the ONS and before Reed’s switch flipped where I found his attitude and behavior off-putting. I enjoyed the night they met - 🥵 - and after their relationship really began enough that it was still a good read.

I rage finished(ish) this because it's the second worst book I've read in years, and I read like 300+ plus books a year, many of them awful, so that's saying something.
This man is an asshole to her over and over and she doesn't skip a beat before forgiving him and falling until bed with him. Body betrayal isn't even the issue here it's that she wants him to be a good person so in her mind he is. He's sneering at her home, her family photos, the dog visiting her, and even HER CHILD, and she's just dreamily watching him hoping he'll choose her a day after he called her a liar and a whore and away with two escorts hanging from his arms. How romantic.
And his inability to pick whether or not he's going to speak to her like a normal fucking person instead of looking down on her and her life and everyone in it continues well into the book.
And for some reason he fucks her one time after they reunite and decides he wants her and her child and the baby she's pregnant with and her life and he's okay with it all even though it was all beneath him like an hour earlier.
Oh and even though he knows her dad has treated her horribly and cut her off, tried to break her and her late husband up, etc., and they have a bad relationship, he's shocked when they run into him and she says that she doesn't want her kids anywhere near her dad. He calls it "outlandish and childish behavior" and seems her rude (how ironic). I hate him.
This same man is in her space for a day before he expects to have complete say in her life. No, more than that. He expects her to be his completely. Suddenly in his mind they're dating and he's planning to marry her and adopt the kid and he's gonna stay over with her now and be territorial and possessive and petty to anyone who comes into that space with them.
This is a "former" manwh0re who has to tell us constantly how he not only has a woman every night, but is known among his friends for having multiple women every night, suddenly wants to settle down with the single mother and the kid that disgusted him moments earlier. Okay.
But it's good now because he pretty much has a free use relationship with her from day one (literally from day one!!!!). They barely know each other but he's sleeping over from the first night and waking her up for sex and this pick me just lets him. No worry about herself or her child with this stranger who was openly hostile towards her the last time they talked.
Oh and his friend group is the same too. Even though they're all starting to settle down and half of them are married with kids, they like to sit around and have nasty "locker room" conversations with each other. Or talk about setting the single one up with an escort service (the one the MMC previously used every single day of his life). It's exactly what you'd expect from someone writing misogynistic romance.
Third act breakup happens and of course the FMC forgives him as soon as he opens his mouth to apologize because when has this woman ever expected better from this man? They don't even finish speaking before they're having sex again on a random dock because sex = adequate communication to these people.
And surprise, surprise, the FMC ends up putting the MMC's inferiority complex about her dead husband to rest by telling him that she loves him so much she's not even sorry her husband is dead because she'd always pick him (the MMC) if she had the chance.
WHAT?!!
I hate the love after loss trope so much because it usually swings too far in the other direction but this wasn't even up to par with that trope at ALL. Like the FMC had like 5 seconds of guilt and then never cared after that. It was the MMC constantly comparing himself to the dead husband without having reason from the pick me FMC to and then we suddenly get the FMC stating that her perfectly happy relationship with her late husband is second to her current relationship and she's not sorry he's gone?
Oh and now their life is in danger from the crazy dad. Excuse me while I roll my eyes.

If you're in the mood for something super spicy, Reed is exactly what you're looking for! Reed has never considered himself a one-woman man, but from the first time he's with Gia, he's completely obsessed. I really liked Reed - he was a little quirkier than our usual MMCs, maybe even slightly neurotic with his propensity for frequent hand sanitizer use, lol. All of which brings on some laugh-out-loud moments with the heroine's young son and many friends who are always hanging around. Reed had a bit more smexy than plot, but it totally hit the spot and was everything I was looking for today!

B.J. Alpha has done it again, she's taken every trope I love and delivered the joy that is REED 😍
I devoured this book way too quickly, and it's left me so happy and full up.
Argh! Reed was just pure amazingness, from his OTT Alpha ways, to his caring nature, and not forgetting the humour that came with his hatred of germs and messes.
Some of his inner thoughts, had me creased up 😂 Not to mention the banter he shared with his friends.
As for Gia (fmc) she was just as amazing, her 'take no shit' attitude was so refreshing. I loved that she didn't shy away from getting jiggy with Reed early on, she saw what she wanted and took it.
Lucky Bitch 🤣
She was a brilliant Mum to her kids and definitely deserves a round of applause for being such a strong ass character.
The spice was just delicious 🤤 Reed can talk pure filth to me for hours and I'd still want more.

I'm not even going to lie, I only read this for the kinks that I saw recommended in a group on FB. But the hero was pretty insufferable and had me skimming the majority of the story. The smexy parts saved it for the most part, but my god did I want to smack the shit out of him.

I was excited when it was announced Reed would get his book and I must say he was MORE then I expected. Holy Moly this man is over the top alpha…and I can’t get enough of it!!!
Reed and Gia’s first encounter was so flirty, naughty and blazing. The sensual chemistry between them is scorching and red-hot!! I enjoyed the fact that Gia saw someone she wanted and acted on her desire to have him. From that moment on the pages of Reed and Gia story burned with need and passion.
When their night together creates a life altering experience Reed has to choose between the women who captivates him beyond anything he’s ever seen or a business deal that will fill his bank account.
There are so many moments in their story that had me smiling, laughing and just enjoying Reed and Gia’s story unfolding.
When starting revelations come to light Reed needs to prove to Gia that she and Bryce are everything to him.
I have to say as much as I really loved Reed, Gia’s character held my attention. Her strength, her resilience and love for her son was so powerful and impressive. Her no backing down attitude is positively EMPOWERING!

This book is truly my favorite from the series! I dove in expecting a steamy billionaire romance and got so much more than I anticipated. Reed’s journey from an arrogant playboy to a devoted partner and father is both hilarious and heartwarming. The chemistry between him and Gia is absolutely off the charts, and I really admired her fierce independence and strength. Their journey is filled with emotional depth, spicy tension, and delightful moments that made me laugh out loud and reach for the tissues. The stakes felt so real, with love, business, and family all intertwined, and that cliffhanger has me eagerly counting down the days until the next book.

I was so excited to see that B.J. Alpha was writing an accidental pregnancy trope book. I’ve been really loving them so far!! This book really met all my expectations and then some. The spicy was 10/10. I loved their first night together wow 🫠🫠🥵🥵 I also loved how Gia never really took anyone’s shit. That and she’s literally do anything for her children. Another thing I really loved was how much Reed changed after Gia. His mindset on things especially children changed after meeting her. You love to see it. If you like a man who’s obsessed then Reed’s your man. As usual B.J. Alpha books are just chef’s 💋 I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Another amazingly smutty gem from BJ Alpha — she seriously never misses! Let me be real though… there were moments in the beginning where I really disliked Reed, but whew, that man pulled a full 180 and totally won me over. By the end? I was obsessed. 👀
Gia was a powerhouse FMC, and I loved every bit of her. She had her sweet moments, but you just knew she wasn’t taking crap from anyone. And Bryce?? That boy was such a little smart-ass but so sweet underneath — totally stole my heart. ❤️
And of course… the spice was top tier. Like, chef’s kiss levels of HOT 🔥🔥🔥
But the Mason easter eggs 👀👀. I NEED his book like… yesterday!!

My new favorite BJ Alpha story🔥😍🥺
It delivered all the angst, passion, spice and plot, what else could one ask for?😍

Gia is an amazing and protective mother who after seeking a one night of freedom finds a controlling man who takes all her overthinking away.
These two had off the charts chemistry from the get go, weren’t scared to call the other out and feel fast!!
I love how Reed quickly learned how to be a supportive and loving man and Gia learned that it was okay to trust someone again.

I’ve read the Storm series from the first book “Shaw” to this one. And I have to say, this is probably my favourite in the series. (I think there is one more to go 🤔)

This read had me gripped from the very first page, it was all consuming. BJA has a knack for producing the most filthy, possessive, obsessive men. Like honestly, these men are on another level. BJA is one of the most talented authors I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Her books are the perfect mix of plot to spice and you’re never left wanting for anything. The spice is always firing on all cylinders and the plot hits the spot every time. This read was no different, and the plot twists made it even more amazing.
This book had everything to make it a fabulous read; it had a captivating plot, spice that left me blushing, banter for days and beautifully written characters. I laughed out loud during the course of this read, the banter was top notch. Reed was absolutely hilarious. I love how BJA portrayed him, he was everything I imagined he would be and more. I fell for him and I’m not ashamed to say I fell hard. I adored Gia, she was such a brave woman and I was rooting for her every step of the way. She was fierce and resilient on the outside but vulnerable on the inside. Both hers and Reeds growth and development during the read was 🤌🏼💋
I just loved everything about this book, it was an absolute masterpiece. The characters, the side characters, the dogs 😂, the banter, the found family vibes, just EVERYTHING! It was perfection.

First off I want to say if you have never read anything by BJ Alpha START NOW! I love that the STORM series are all interconnected but you don’t HAVE to read the others I started with Owen’s book when it came out and now I’m going through and reading ALL of them from start to finish because Owen’s book had me by the throat BUT now Reeds book has probably taken the cake for me.

This book has up downs and loop around! If you want a roller coaster of a ride for your heart, and to be sitting on the edge of your seat this book is for you!! The spice was detailed and phenomenal. The DRAMA is so juicy!! All the things we experience is so Beautifully written, it feels like I’m a character on the movie set 🤭! I didn’t really know what to except from Reed but he did not disappoint! I won’t spoil it for you because the plot is so worth not being able to put the book down! Since I did it you can too! ALL of BJ’s books have been full of spice but also a plot that is consuming! You can jump into Reed right away or start from the beginning and read through all four of the STORM enterprises books! Having read Shaw, Tate, and Owen I started looking forward to more from this series! The teasers for this one had me wanting to get into it even more. I picked this fourth installment and got right back into the Storm Enterprises world. I enjoyed this story so much!
Reed and Gia's journey pulled me right in! Spending a night with another soul can shake up your heart and life, something Gia and Reed know after theirs together. Reed is a lawyer trying to make a business deal happen. Gia is a single mom to son, Bryce and a lawyer as well. As Reed and Gia collide once again, Gia has news for Reed that she's pregnant. Can Reed and Gia figure things out between them? And could they have it all together?
Gia and Reed had my full attention right from the moment they met. These two quickly had me blushing and invested. From the moment they were reunited I couldn't wait to see how they'd tackle their new reality, a certain business deal, personal things, danger, all things parenthood and family, and their feelings for one another. It wasn't quite an easy journey for Reed and Gia.
I admired Gia and her strength. I really felt for her. Gia was such a dedicated mom and caring soul. Reed had me wanting to talk to him through my kindle at times. I enjoyed getting to see him take on things he didn't expect in his life. I loved how Gia got right to his heart and had him falling! The chemistry between these two was so blushworthy! I enjoyed getting the real from both Gia and Reed and digging deeper with them. These two had me going through many emotions and feeling every bit of their journey!
I was glad to be back in the Storm Enterprises world and that I got to see some familiar faces! I so enjoyed what Bryce brought to the story and the moments that he shared with Gia and Reed as well!
With Reed, Ms.Alpha has created such a good read that brought pregnancy, lawyers, steamy goodness, darkness, family, humor and heart, and moments I didn't expect which all kept me turning the pages and feeling a lot! 💙⚖🤰
I am so looking forward to diving back into the Storm Enterprises series with the fifth installment, Mase's book!

Holy Hell BJ!!!!! Seriously why do you makes such great men that we cannot help but fall in love with them? I mean I did not think the guys could get any better but then you said "hold my beer" and did it all over again. You seriously left me feral for Mase with that little nugget at the end. I need his story like right now! I absolutely loved Reed and devoured his story. I feel like I need to read him all over again already. He was seriously husband material. Yes, he made mistakes but the fact that he was willing to step up and do everything he did just to be close to his family was everything. Reed had is idiosyncrasies but he was willing to over look them and adapt to everything for Gia and Bryce. When he picked the babies name he took me out with the sweetness. Reed made a lot of mistakes but his willingness to not only apologize but make right his wrongs had me swooning over him. He cracked me up with his germaphobia, OCD tenancies, ect. You could not help but laugh at his antics but also his willingness to overlook those issues to be fully present in his families life. I adored little Bryce. He was a fun and sweet kid. Reed literally was willing and able to step up to be everything he needed even at his own expense. When he stepped in to be his coach, I literally fell in love with him for life. Sign me up for a Reed any day of the week. BJ did such a great job with this story. It was fun, emotional, witty, enduring, and spicy. The story development was fantastic. I love how we got to see old characters and new. I am so excited for what is next.

Once again I’m just left speechless with a BJ Alpha book! This one OMG I’m obsessed. Reed is THE BOOK BOYFRIEND! Gia and Reed are just top tier and I love them. From page one till the end I didn’t come up for air. Consumed by these two and their connection. Reed went from I can’t do this to a possessive and protective man over Gia. I was laughing so hard at how jealous he got over Gia instantly. The banter was so good and the spicy will make you melt as always with BJs books! Gia thought one of my favorite FMCs! This woman is all things strong, fierce, and just force to deal with. The character growth from beginning to end with both was done so amazing. By the end I had the biggest smile on my face! Overall I totally recommend adding this one to your tbr!

I admit…I was not a fan of Reed going into this. He seemed so self absorbed and arrogant and a bit of a jackass…but I knew there had to be more to him!! And I have to say he really won me over!!! It was not easy, and yes mistakes were made…but seeming him completely over the top obsessed with Gia was so much fun! He d@mn near loses his mind and I LOVED it!!!!
Reed and Gia meet and have a very steamy one night stand…but they agreed no strings attached. Plus Reed does NOT do relationships…she leaves without giving him her name. Over the coming months Reed can’t get her out of his head and they have a chance meeting that goes horribly wrong…and then she ends up at the center of a big business deal….
Reed out of his element and was so much fun to see!! I was laughing out loud so many times throughout this story. From the germs to dog hair to a very unfortunate incident with a fast food bag, he was flailing but also trying so hard to win over Gia and her son.
I really loved Gia - she was smart and strong and resilient. She pushed Reed in the best ways. My heart broke for both of them and their pasts.
This book gets VERY steamy!! They have amazing chemistry and banter and things get very spicy 🌶️ 🌶️
I do love how close he is with his friends from STORM - they have some great banter and even though they may fight, they truly care about one another.

This author knows how to right an amazing story and I tell you what after everyone of these books in this series each one has been my favourite, then the next one is out into the wild and feral doesn’t even describe
Reeed though omfg reeedddd, I literally felt so many things reading this book, I laughed so hard at this absolutely fool of a man…. The lengths he goes to for something he never even wanted in the first place was just hilarious. But so, so beautiful to read about at the same time. He’s focused, he’s driven and what he wants he gets. Nothing will stand in his way
Unless you hoy a few obstacles in his way then it turns to comedy gold.
So much so I was belly laughing.

Gia, ohhh Gia was such an amazing character I loved her so much, I wanted to crawl inside this book and give her a huge hug but she holds her own and is such a force to be reckoned with, she maybe just needs a little help along the way. When these two characters paths cross I was cheering all the way for a happy ending for them both, the journey we are taken on in this book was everything, the twists and turns and I was surprised by parts in here that I was not expecting at all. When things start to unravel in this story I was sat laughing one minute, then the next sat with my gob open in disbelief, shaking my head like wtfffff
But what a story, what a ride
I can’t get enough of these books
I honestly can’t and I can’t wait to see the next one and read all about the next character.

This series really has become a favorite BJ Alpha series. Each book hits a different standard and never misses. I was very curious about Reed because as we’ve seen him so far, it’s the most carefree and anti-relationship of the crew. Reed and Gia are lawyers who have one of the hottest one night stands either has ever encountered. Reed immediately regrets not getting her name or number and spends the next 6 months trying to move on but can’t. Gia and him cross paths again. Getting the shock of his life, he discovers Gia is pregnant. The speed and intensity at which this man goes from absolutely not to I’ve never been more obsessed with a woman in life was comically fast. I had whiplash it was so fast but that also made it so delicious. It was also hilarious to watch the lengths Reed goes to as to prove he’s ready to be a Dad. Literal laughing out loud moments. If you know BJ, you know it’s hot. Gia and Reed are feral for one another and they show it. The spice was consistent and so well done. It’s the emotional backstory that really kept my attention. Gia and Reed have experienced true, deep, and devastating traumas. How they both grew with it is dramatically different. However, how they move forward together was really special to watch. They actually talked it out like adults and it’s always nice to see a little realism play out so well. I throughly enjoyed this book as I do most of the this vast world BJ created. Now we wait for Mase’s book and I am salivating for it.

Reed was interesting for sure. I went f/wanting to jump in this book & climb him, to wanting to punch him in the d!ck- hard, & back to wanting to lick every inch of him! What he said to Gia was beyond disrespectful & uncalled for, but once he pulled his head out of his ass he did try. Granted his plan didn’t come to execution, but damn was it funny to watch! In previous books Reed was the one determined to not have kids, he hated them. So it was funny as hell to watch him try to impress Gia by taking Shaw’s daughter for the day- & adopt a dog to cover his lies! Awww sweet & cute Bubbles!
I loved Gia. Becky did a phenomenal job creating her character. Gia was a business woman, classy & smart in the streets, but sexy & confident in the sheets! And I was so relieved when she didn’t try to hide her pregnancy or deny it was Reeds. I hate when that gets drawn out in a story or the heroine hides it.
This book was insanely hot! I’m talking off the damn charts hot. I loved the humor too & watching Reed have his panic attacks when it came to all the kids! And of course a special appearance by a certain O’Connell who has a thing for tooth picks doesn’t hurt! There’s only one more book to go & I honestly can’t wait! I’ve been wanting Mase’s story for awhile and after reading the last bit of this book I’m super anxious & excited!
