“If I had known she was still alive, I would have found her. I would have torn the heads off anyone who stood in my way and brought her home. Instead, I buried her, along with the last bits of my shattered black heart.”
“When I wake in a hospital, having no memory of who I am, I’m told the man sitting beside me is my husband. After months of living together with still no recollection of who he, or I am, my world comes flooding back in the eyes of my daughter.”
Mia is a woman who can put any man on his knees in seconds. Marco is the bad-tempered leader of the Guerra. Together they have a ‘friends with benefits’ type relationship, only without the friendship. Neither of them thinks they can fall in love, neither of them wants to. But when Mia is in an accident and pronounced dead, that all changes. She Found Me is a story of two broken souls who heal each other. But not without a lot of excitement, suspense, emotion and spice on the way.
'I am Mia Alboni, and I am the woman of a Guerra man.'- the best line There were way too many grammatical errors to ignore. And, where is the real Marco we met in the third book? The Marco in this book is just so different. He never really fell for Mia, but out of nowhere, he is so in love with her that he is ready to go on a suicide mission for her! Weird.
She found me? More like he found her … but the timeline doesn’t align. Spice level is low. Slight disappointment with this one, but a cleanser nonetheless. Do wish I learned more about Marco in this one. Loved Mia’s story, strength and tenacity.
Marco is the head of the Italian Mafia. Mia is the daughter of a past Mafia boss. They are friends with benefits... without the friend part. When Mia starts becoming more disobedient, Marco realizes that he needs to claim her as his own. On a trip to London, Mia has an accident and loses her memory. Marco believes her to be dead and tears apart the entire country in vengeance.
From all the book I've read by Joy Mullet's Found Series (except They Found Us, I'll read it next) this is my fav, I love how this story reminds me of the stories from Wattpad that I've read during my teens. I realized that I still love these kinds of books, hohoho.
Ugh, I need more! I’m over the moon with Marco and Mia, need more of their story! Absolutely obsessed with this series! I’ve read them all in a week!! Can’t wait for the other books to come out!
