Loved Wolf

Nothing speaks more of a man than when he steps up when he is notified that he has just had a son and the mother doesn’t want him. He needs to get to the hospital now or the woman’s father will put the baby into the system.

Wolf is that man and even though he is a tough biker he has a soft spot for his baby. Jacqueline is Wolf’s next-door neighbor and she has caught his eye. Her brother does business with the MC and now has asked Wolf to protect his sister who has no idea what her brother does.

I loved watching the connection form not only between Wolf and Jacqueline but between Jacqueline and baby Kale. Jacqueline didn’t realize it right away but Wolf had claimed Jacqueline when they first met. I loved this book and cannot wait to see what this author brings next.

3.75stars-WOLF’S SON is the third instalment in EC Land’s contemporary, adult DEVIL’S RIOT MC : Mississippi erotic, MC romance series, a spin off , set in the author’s Devil’s Riot MC world. This is Wolf and artist Jacqueline Cordova’s story line. WOLF’S SON can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary..
Told from dual first person perspectives (Wolf and Jacqueline) WOLF’S SON follows in the weeks after Wolf discovered a one-night stand resulted in the birth of his son, a young child of whom he was granted full custody but Wolf’s new neighbor, an artist with a penchant for loud music is about to get up close and personal with our story line hero when the Devil’s Riot MC are hired to guard and protect our story line heroine. Jacqueline Cordova doesn’t want a protector but her brother Izaiah determined to keep his sister alive. A break in at her home finds Wolf claiming Jacqueline as his own, as Izaiah makes a deal with the MC and the future of the fight clubs with the MC.

The world building focuses on the protection of Jacqueline Cordova, but the conflict has yet to be resolved. As Jacqueline prepares for an upcoming art show, someone else is taking aim at our story line heroine.

The relationship between Jacqueline and Wolf begins as neighbors and quickly turns into something more. Hired to protect Jacqueline, Wolf finds himself falling for a woman he is willing to claim as his own. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of familiar, and energetic secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Devil’s Riot MC: Mississippi, as well as Jacqueline’s brother Izaiah, and Wolf’s one-night stand Melissa.

WOLF’S SON is a story of family and relationships, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is engaging and intriguing; the romance is fated and seductive; the characters are desperate and determined.

This is the third book in this series, and this is Wolf and Jacqueline’s story.
Wolf gets some surprising news that he is a dad to a newborn son, and when he brings him home, he moves house, and Jacqueline is his neighbor. Jacqueline is sweet, caring, and lives her life on her terms, no matter how protective her brother is. These two cross paths when loud music has Wolf on her doorstep. Wolf’s club and her brother have business dealings, and he hires the MC to protect and keep Jacqueline safe.
This is a well written easy to read, action packed story, with family, friendships, emotions, tad danger, suspense, intrigue, redemption, drama, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining and unpredictable page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

We are back with the Mississippi Devil’s Riot MC. Wolf gets a call from a lawyer telling him to come get his newborn son, or he will be put into foster care. Wolf could not let that happened. He was determined to take care of his son. Of course, he had the help of the club. He moved into the neighborhood some of the other club members moved to raise their families. Not only was Wolf dealing with a newborn, the club had some business to handle. The club was contemplating a union with Izaiah Cordova. Izaiah took over the fight club and was trying to make some changes. He needed the help of the club to make these changes.

Jacqueline Cordova wanted to do her own thing. She moved out of the family home and was an artist. Her dream was to open a gallery for her art. Now she has to deal with a single dad with a newborn as a neighbor. The way Jacqueline fell in love with Wolf’s son, Kale, will melt readers’ hearts. Is she attracted to Wolf? Of course, but Kale is who brought her into the family. Kale needed a family and Jacqueline was ready to have a role in his life. You know that is not all. Someone is after Jacqueline. Izaiah hires the MC to protect her. Jacqueline does not know what her brother really does. Can they protect her and make a family for Kale? I am loving this series.

Since I started this series of Devil’s Riot MC: Mississippi I have had Wolf on the fence of liking him and not liking him. Wolf totally redeemed himself in this book.

When Wolf gets unexpected news he steps up and becomes the man I knew he could be.
When he meets Jacqueline it’s attraction and chemistry right off the bat.

Jacqueline is a sweet, caring, take no sh!t from anyone. She fights for her beliefs and what she wants.
These two are perfect for each other and I couldn’t put the book down till the end. This is Another fantastic book in this series and I am looking forward to the next read.

This is a great continuation of the Devil Riot MC. Wolf and Jacquelin meet each other when he moves in Nextdoor, and has to tell her to turn the music down. The reason for that is because he just found out he has a son and was knocked for a loop when told. They try to stay away from each other but fate brings them together time after time.when the club is asked to protect her by her brother, he claims her in front of the most important brothers. From there they are on a journey to a future filled with love and laughter, but also danger from both her brother and the club. That doesn’t stop them from being together and proving that they are built for the long haul.

So I gave this one 3 stars, and that's pushing it, I'm sorry to say. This was not, wow, I'm not even sure what to write. This felt disjointed to me. I'm questioning if E.C. Land even wrote this because it doesn't read like her other books. Everything was repeated so much it got annoying. In one small paragraph, Jacqueline talks about how she likes a structured life. The word structured was written 3 times. I'm sorry, but that was nuts. The other thing that bothered me is that the book just ended, like I want my questions answered, but nope, just end this one and a glimpse of the next one. Like I said, I'm wondering if E.C. Land wrote this.

Wolf discovers he is a father through a phone call with an ultimatum. He and his son, Kale, move into a safe house, and he realizes that his new neighbor is none other than Jacqueline Cordova. His MC is possibly getting an alliance with her brother Izaiah. E.C. keeps you turning the pages with the developing romance between single dad Wolf and Jacqueline. Things take a turn when Wolf's past comes back to haunt him.
I received an arc for my voluntary honest review for NN Book Blog. If you enjoy a steamy MC Single Dad Romance, you will love this book. Although this is Book Three in the Devil's Riot MC Mississippi series, this book can be read as a standalone.

Thank you to Kiki Reader PA Services and E.C. Land for the ARC of Wolf's Son!

This instalment of the Devil's Riot MC Mississippi chapter starts with a bang- Wolf's life shifts for the better when he gets a big surprise. The surprise leads to him moving out of the clubhouse into a space of his own and beside Jaqueline's place. There's instant attraction between the two of them but they hold off for now on admitting their feelings.

Wolf and Jaqueline take a wild ride throughout the book and I could not get enough of it! I'm super excited to see what comes next for the Mississippi chapter!

Wolf has certainly redeemed himself in this book. He is totally absorbed with looking after his son and when he meets and falls for Jacqueline you know that his alpha side is going to be shining through his broody persona. This story just concentrated on the building relationship between Jacqueline and Wolf, and although there wasn’t any drama as is the norm for this MC, it was a very good read and I loved how great of a father Wolf really was. Another fantastic book in this series and I am looking forward to the next read.

Another incomplete story

I had so much hope for the one, over two hundred pages I thought surely we would get a complete story. But, no, we did not and again with the grammatical errors it was a complete disappointment. There were plot lines left unresolved yet the seeds of the next book were planted. I’m beginning to think that the “editor” and “proofreader” are figments of the writer’s imagination. The last 45 pages were nothing but an advertisement for other books the writer has written. She really should focus on quality rather than quantity.

Disappointed

Wolf finds out the a one night stand has given birth to his son and is told to go and claim him or the grandfather will put him in care.

He moves in next door to Jacalyn, who's brother is someone the club knows and is making alliance with, she knows nothing of what her brother is involved in and very naive.

Just as story gets going it just ends, no finding out who broke in to her house or if kale's birth mother leaves, I get the story feeds in to the next book and next couple but this one lacked so much.

One phone call changes everything for Wolf in a second he becomes a father. Now he is in his own house with his son, when he meets his neighbor Jacqueline she is sweet, innocent and the sister of the man the have alliance with. With each page things heat up between them and than she gets visit from his son's mother. Will they have to fight for their happiness? Read and find out. This read is a slow pace with emotions, sweet moments, spice, and smiles. A great addition to this series and I can't wait to see what happens in the next.

Another great book by EC Land. I was a little dissappointed that the story ended so soon without closure for Wolf and Jacqueline. There is some danger, but not your usual cluster of a mess and danger. It felt like something was missing. Wolf does has his hands full as she is a spitfire that will keep him on his toes. Can't wait for the next installment to hopefully get more of theor story in Rosemary and Kevlars story Finding Rosemary.

This book was sweet.
It started off all macho with the girls father telling Wolf how it was going to be.
I was surprised the way things ended and that character wasn't so macho then.
Also his daughter played the villian but she was super tame..I guess I just want alittle more smack downs lol and instead I got all clucky over Kale instead...now I need more of little Kale lol.
As always a good read that goes along with the series of hot bikers who protect their own.

Wolf find his happiness

Making a new way in life after finding out he has a son, Wolf is moving forward. Only now his next door neighbor intrigues him. When he finally decides he wants her to be his, he finds out her connection to an ally of the club.

I feel like this book is setting up another and didn’t have the same drama the rest of the series has. It was just okay. I do want to see what comes next for the club though.

Wolf's Son is book 3 in Mississippi Chapter of the Devil's Riot MC and it starts out with quite a bang! Wolf gets a major surprise from the start and it doesn't stop there. Music brings him to his neighbor and to say she makes an impression is an understatement. Fireworks definitely go off between the two of them. Wolf and Jacqueline take us on quite a journey in Wolf's Son!

Overall, this was an amazing read. she makes you take everything that you hate about this character from previous books of hers and she makes you fall in love with the broody motorcycle. bad boy you didn't want to love. it is a single father who is in a MC club/1% club So it is going to be a little bit on the darker side and her books are not as dark as some. so if you're wanting like a super dark super spicy Romance, her books are not for you. if you're wanting the plot, the spice the build up to their love story. this is definitely a book for you. all of her books are hea. I would definitely recommend starting with book one and two in the story to kind of get a backstory on a few of the characters, but overall this book could be read as a standalone if you really wanted to read it as a standalone. overall, the book does have some things that you should probably be forewarned about, so just check the trigger warnings that she had set aside at the beginning of all of her books.

Great book.

Wolf's Son has been a long time coming. Really enjoyed this one. Wolf steps up and takes on the responsibility of raising his son he knew nothing about until 4 hours after the baby was born. After he moves into his new house with Kale, he notices his neighbor, Jacqueline. When threats come her way, Wolf claims her without even thinking.

I'm really disappointed!! 1st off don't put a warning at the beginning and there's nothing in it about it!! 2nd, its unfinished!! It doesn't say who was behind the house issue, and alot of other things!! It's not really finished about them as a couple, etc.

This was a pretty decent read. Although I do wish it was a little bit longer and didn't leave some things unfinished. But it had a really good storyline with great characters. I did like the overall concept of the book.

One of the best!

I love Wolf and Jacqueline’s story together! She makes such a great mom for Kale, and I appreciate so much how Wolf allows her to still be the person she is with her art but still protective and loving.

I really liked the story and characters but I didn’t like the ending. It felt unfinished and we’re just left hanging. I can understand that the story continues into the next book but the way major points were left unmentioned was poorly done.

Excellent story that revolves around a newborn, whose rich mother abandoned because of of father, but to me that's no excuse. Wolf is a great father and his neighbor is a jewel with his son. He'll do anything to protect them. HEA for now.
