I went to college in Binghamton during the early 1990s, when R. Terry and Operation Rescue were very active. Mr. Terry would say that he didn't support violent action in his 'Lambs of Christ' but he equated abortion to murder and people who perform abortions to murderers and terrorists, and advised his followers to respond to 'abortionists' and clinics according to that point of view. This line of thinking led to lots of clinic blockades and the isolated murders of clinicians. So I read this when it came out to try to wrap my head around O.R.'s point of view. (A point of view, for the record, that I do not share.)
