He’s the man that tried to kill me. But now he’s back and this time he wants my love.
Cory
I ran away from home when the son of the pack Alpha tried to have me killed. After one night in one another’s arms I find myself chased halfway across the state and nearly murdered in the process. But I made it to Shifter Grove alive and I built a new life for myself. And I’m content to never think of it again.
But when I find a half-dead wolf on the side of the road I can’t help but take him in. Although I didn’t recognize him at first, I quickly realized he’s the son of the Alpha. And he still thinks I’m his mate. The rejection was easy and I sent him away.
So why won’t my heart listen to me? Why do I want this man so badly when I know I can never trust him?
Liam
I never tried to have Cory killed. I know he doesn’t believe me, but that’s the truth. When I told my father that I’d found my mate and he was male, all hell broke loose. After that moment, Cory was out of my life seemingly forever.
But I got away. It took me two years, but I did it. When I finally wandered into Shifter Grove at last, I was nearly starved to death. And who should find me but Cory. He doesn’t recognize me at first but the truth always finds a way of working its way to the surface.
How do I convince the man of my dreams that I would never hurt him when he won’t even talk to me?
standalone, second chance, fated mate, rejected mate, small town, soft boys, alpha bottom, alpha wolf, found family, strict roles, and HEA.

Okay I was worried that I wouldn't like this one because I love the title so much but fear not! It was great. I loved the different set up for this one! Liam was a cutie patootie from the get go and Cory was the perfect grumpy foil. As soon as it was said that Cory had red hair, I couldn't help but picture Cory as Cameron Monaghan and Liam as Noel Fisher because I'm nothing if not Gallavich trash. I'm so excited to finally get to Sam's story!
deeply unserious and incredibly rushed but i read it in one hour so at least it was entertaining. there are so,e good parts in it, but they don’t get explored too long to be something more. i always do love a rejected mate werewolf story though!
This book was fabulous. I adored Cory and Liam, each in a different way abused by the same cruel, violent and manipulative man. Liam is so desperate to be reunited with Cory, while he tries to convince himself that he no longer feels anything for Liam, convinced that he has betrayed him. What they've been through is painful and traumatic. Time has passed, they've changed, they've been manipulated and though haven't experienced events in the same way, and the reunion isn't easy, not to mention the fact that their past is still threatening. Fortunately, Sam and the whole Shifter Grove community are there to support them. I recommend the entire Shifter Grove series and hope that, like me, you'll enjoy every member of the community and look forward to the next volume!

Yet, as the past casts shadows on their budding happiness, one can’t help but wonder—will they overcome these challenges, or will the ghosts of their past tear them apart again?

I really enjoyed this book! It is entertaining and gripping, and left me wanting more! There is a lot of trauma and violence that is balanced by two wonderful MC's, laughs, great friends and found family, spicy sexy times, and a hard earned second chance for a deeply devoted love with a sweet, heartwarming HEA.
My heart broke for Liam and Cory, they suffered so much as young men, and all from the same nasty man. Their suffering came in different forms, but each was just as devastating and traumatic. Thoughts of reuniting with Cory is the only thing that got Liam through the past two years, but he is shocked by the anger Cory shows him. It takes time before Cory is even willing to listen to Liam, but once he does, his entire perception of events changes and it is the start of the slow process of healing and acceptance, a new beginning for them. Their journey is not an easy one. The past isn't done trying to destroy them, but with the help of their amazing friends/found family, they prevail and can start a new chapter in their lives - together. Liam and Cory are truly the sweetest, and they deserve their HEA. Sam is a wonderful friend to all - as he has been in previous books, and Cory's best friend David provided much needed levity. I would highly recommend this book.
I received an ARC, this is my honest, unbiased review.
Both Cody and Liam were lied to. After being caught in bed, the pack Alpha, Liam's father banished Cody and locked Liam in a basement dark room and tortured him. Every day for two years. Cody thought Liam betrayed him. When a starved and injured Liam, stuck in his wolf form, arrives in Shifter Grove, Liam thinks his mate will fall into his arms. Instead, Cody throws him out. Sam once again meddles. It gets Cody to listen to Liam, but he's not ready to forgive him. Their attraction is very much on page. Trying to hate his mate, Cody fights it. He spends about half the book sulking about his ex 'who has come to town'. Liam is a playful puppy. Loveable and wanting Cory's attention and love. The world building is great. Lake Huron sounds gorgeous. Sam and David. Cody's best friend, are important secondaries. And the previous mated pairs from the other stories pop in. Liam finds himself adopted in the Shifter Grove found family. It's sweet. It's a quick read. Sam's story should be next. And then, maybe Blake will find a forever love for David. I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my review.
This was SUCH a good book!! I loved Cory and Liam so much, they were adorable together.
I had been hoping for Cory to finally get his story and I wasn’t disappointed by any means but I kinda thought their dynamic was a little off. Liam, the alpha, was very un-alpha like. He was incredibly sweet and tender hearted but nothing like the typical alpha with the stammering and pining. Cory, the omega, behaved much more like what I would expect from an alpha, complete with marking Liam and everything. Don’t get me wrong, it was hot and I certainly enjoyed it and will read it again, but it was just different.
All that said, I challenge anyone to read it and not completely melt from Liam’s sweet heart. I wanted to wrap him up in bubble wrap and never let anything hurt him ever again, especially not his abominable father or anyone from his former pack.
This is one you don’t want to miss, it’s THAT good! 5 Stars!!
I received a copy of this book for free but am voluntarily leaving a review.
This series just gets better and better. Cory and Liam were together until Liam's dad got involved, fast forward 2 years. Cory has settled down in Shifter Grove, has a sort of life for himself until he finds a half starved wolf, then the fun starts. These two characters I liked straight away and even though Cory rejected Liam I knew it would not last for long. Cory and Liam proves that fate will always get what it wants. Hearing both their experiences at the hand of Liam's dad. I was willing them to realise what had gone on and enjoy each other. I enjoyed their reminiscing of when they first met and when they finally got together it was brilliant. They deserved their HEA so much. I really liked that Cory had a human friend and I really want to know more about David, as even though he did not know the full story he had so much trust in Cory. It was good to catch up with the rest of the guys even in a small way and events show, they are more of a pack then they think they are. The teaser with Sam, has me wishing it is already on my kindle and I cannot wait till it comes out
Finally, I have read the book I skipped when reading this series. I didn’t think I’d be invested in Cory’s story, because he had barely been mentioned in the previous books, but I was wrong. I loved it, devoured the entire book in a day (before and after work, when I had to stop reading). I loved Liam, Cory’s newcomer mate. Decided I quite like David too, Cory’s human bestie, who didn’t know about most of the town being wolves. I didn’t get a good impression of him when he was dating Vincent and being threatened by River, but there was character development for him in this book and he turned out to be a decent guy.
I’m going to miss Shifter Grove and the thriving gay community there. I hope Blake writes more books set there. 🤞🤞🤞
Reject Me Baby One More Time is the fourth book in the Shifter Grove Rogue Wolves series.
It is a quick read, spicy, although the background of the characters, Liam and Cory, is a little hard, because they have suffered the abuse of Liam's father. Liam and Cory meet when they are very young, fall in love, but Liam's father surprises them. Cory runs away at that moment and Liam two years later, walking around the country looking to reunite with Cory and continue their love story. But the situation has changed for Cory. Liam is very sweet for an alpha, but in that sweetness lies his appeal.
OMG this book was so great. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was a painful and heart broken moment. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. It was addicted between Cory and Liam chemistry was sexual tension and the physical attraction was sizzling hot. They couldn't even fight the temptation of the rejecting that they both faced between each other first time. Could they overcome the madness of the love and romance they had for one another a second time around. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am Voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones
Sweet and steamy shifter romance! Cory and Liam have had more than their fair share of hiccups and trauma in their relationship but with a little meddling from a friend and an undeniable draw to one another fate wins to give them a well earned HEA. This can be read as a standalone as this was the first book I have read from the series but it’s so good I am curious about the others! Well written, found family, fated mates, steamy and a great HEA
Got yet another page turner from Blake! A sweet (and SPIcy) story of two guys who were forced apart as kids and find themselves together again. Admittedly, I didn't like their initial reunion, but the rest of the story more than made up for it.
I finished it in less than a day - I can't wait for the next one!
Cory and Liam are from the same pack, separated by violence and lies and two years of misplaced hate and emotions to deal with before they can get their HEA. Cory and Liam are sweet and once the truth comes out nothing will stop their love for each other. Mid angst. abuse from a parent, found family and fated mates.
A beautiful second chance romance. Cory's and Liam's story is heartbreaking, and it is so satisfying and heartwarming when they finally get together again. They are fated mates, but the lies and violence of their past are still present, especially for Cory. Eventually they face the truth, and so they can have a future – together, with all the love and all the heat. This series is so good!
I do love the shifter grove series. Each book is different and I love each one! I found once I started this book I couldn't put it down. I kept wondering how things would turn around for the pair. It's a must read
