Better Together but Disjointed

Hmmmm 🤔 , I’m both confused & conflicted by the character context changes & plot development. …Initially, I was excited about the new release & getting reacquainted with familiar characters. Yes, I enjoyed the majority of “Intimate Seduction”. Unfortunately though, this book felt like two/three different stories fused. Foremost, I realize the book “Intimate Seduction (The Intimate Series — Book 2)” was primarily about the characters Kee & Ren repairing the trust & loyalty issues of their relationship. Great, mission accomplished …Cheers! & Congratulations (to the happy couple🥴 I guess), on reconciling their differences & enjoying their new life together! I’m curious though, why was Simone’s engagement mentioned & even celebrated amongst her extended Robinson family? Yet, Keisha & Lorenzo’s engagement was just casually mentioned in the epilogue. Where were the Washington’s to welcome her into the family?…SHAMEFUL & Shady 🤷🏾‍♀️‼️ Thereafter, maybe I’m just being petty penny today. But why may these drastic character changes between book 1 & 2: Keisha had no siblings; Simone was from SC not Chicago; Consequently, they couldn’t have grown up together. Also, Darius & Simone broke up. Engaged, really🥴? What happened to Desmond?; Finally, I enjoyed Keisha & Lorenzo’s romance journey. …definitely better together 🥰! LJ & the Washington tribe was unnecessary 🤷🏾‍♀️‼️

Reunited

A second chance love story that matures along with the hero ,Lorenzo in time for a college reunion where he reunites with Keisha. Sean D. Young turns a story of love, self doubt, relationship baggage into a sensually seductive rekindled romance between Ren and Lee (love the pet names). Intimate Seduction is just that, A slow ,sensual dance of old flames spiraling towards love and permanent happily ever after by the Epilogue. Great end of summer reading.

Second Time Around

Ten years have passed, can Keisha and Lorenzo forgive each other? This was a very slow read. I didn't feel a real connection between Kee and Ren till the last few chapters. I will continue to read the series.
