when I say this book is from a multifaceted author because we know her from her paranormal but this urban romance street lit is just an amazing book. Cocaine is a man man who was all pressha because Lexi didn't see him coming. The drama, sex, and craziness is all 237 pages of this book and I love every minute. This book is worth the read and ready for book 2. Five flipping stars ma'am!

This entire book was just GREAT!!! Cocaine was a big stepper when it came to getting Lexxy he didn’t give a damn about Lucky, and I like that for him.

I cannot get book two fast enough. Nastee did not leave us on a cliff hanger, she took us skydiving and threw us out of the plane without a parachute 🪂.

Deep sigh. This book was so hard to finish. There were so many incomplete thoughts from the author. I wanted to love this book so much. I kept seeing all these amazing reviews on this book but I didn’t get it. The character development with all over the place.…

That Cocaine😮😮😮
Nastee you keep bringing your A game everything I've read from you just keeps me wanting.more. Dutch is indeed an selfish man and.all his skeletons along with others keep coming back. Lexi just wanted to be loved the right way as well as have her career but as fate would have it the man she had given 5 years to was not for her, just to think k that if she had not taking that shift from her best friend she would not have met the love of her life.
Now that cliffhanger I sort of thought her uncle was more but Master you had me really thinking lol absolutely loved this story and the characters.
Lucky was also selfish he wanted to be the boss always taking not willing to give and the only reason he did what he did was because he seen another man sniffing around his woman knowing he was never going to give into what she wanted but only appeased her to get her off his back but then that even backfired on him.

Now this Is a Story
One of the main things that I didn’t like about this book what the style that it was written in. It is hard for me to get into books written in this style. I’m more of a First Person writing style girl.
So let’s get to it!!
This book is full of drama, the plot is phenomenal, the spice is meh, ( but that doesn’t matter because the storyline is great.
The reason I gave 4 stars is because there were several occurrences in this book where I was a bit lost and some things did not add up.
There were things that happened that was like HUH 🤔 but was explained later, leaving you a bit puzzled. As well as a few other things. But over all this book was great.
It was good to know going in that there would be a cliffhanger, and it was a MAJOR ONE!!!! Can’t wait for book 2!!!!

new to me author + banger
Listennnnnn this is my first time reading something by author Nastee & she did NOT disappoint okay. The plot line ate & the twist honestly got me because the whole time I was expecting something else to happen so I was definitely caught off guard a little bit. The book does end on a cliffhanger as said on her content warning page (which I suggest you read). If you’re looking for a quick read of some drama & illegal shenanigans with some romance this is definitely the book for you.

Listen this book is a 10/10 the amount of drama and betrayal in this book whew!!! I feel so sorry for coco and lexxy because they are really innocent in all of this drama going on. Dutch is a snake man I just can even believe how wicked this man is!!! But whewww the cliff hanger and the news about wild bill in the end is crazyyyyyy

I want to like this author so bad. I do. I DNF one book so I tried my best to finish this one and I did. POORLY POORLY POORLY written. Details that aren’t needed. Constantly repeating herself and it had a “Tyler Perry Ending” just RUSHED!! It cld have been finished 31 chapters ago but yet I read all of them. Just awful style of writing. No substance. This will be the last book o touch of hers

This one wasn’t for me. I thought that the writing style was a little juvenile, rushed, and not very detailed. So I did end up skipping around a lot after about 38%. Listen….This book was a page turner for sure. I knew there were going to be twists and turns, but my goodness I thoroughly enjoyed the ride!! Can’t wait for the sequel!!!!

it went by a bit fast

This is one of those stories that you can sit back and enjoy what's about to happen. This is my third read by Author Nastee and I have really had to brace myself with how she likes to end a book. Things are progressing, situations get to peak dramatic status, and then she abruptly ENDS THE BOOK!! It's like she has been out on a mission to raise my blood pressure!
Luck for me (and many other readers) that she's super quick with the followups and I don't have to be on pins and needles very long. I'm looking forward to the drama that will come from the next two installments of this trilogy.

I love Lexi and Cocaine so much. He just wanted revenge and never knew how close it was to him. Lucky made me want to back hand slap him for real. Denise every girl needs a friend like Denise. Junie baby Junie is the goat of this story. She wasn’t about to play with Dutch about her baby girl Lexi and WILD BILL baby yes. He was so sick of Dutch and o can’t wait to see what happens next!!!
