Edith is a socialite. She is one of the prestigious, respected and affluent Villari vampires, having spent much of her life indulging in shopping, socializing and luxuriating in the privileges of wealth.
Min-jun is a friend. He is part of a trio of friends whom Ian considers as close as brothers as well as being cherished family friends. All three have come to Pharos Hills to assist the Villari family and have stayed for a visit.
In an effort to avoid her school-girl crush on Min-jun, Edith agrees to a date with the strikingly handsome and charismatic Dorian, a siren known for his charm and sincere interest in Edith. As their relationship blossoms, Min-jun grows uneasy and decides to intervene. To his surprise, the family dismisses his concerns, even as Edith grows suspicious herself.
Welcome to Pharos Hills. A picturesque, little town on the Virginian east coast. We invite you to share in all the beauty it has to offer. And all the not so beautiful. Because, after all…
When you live amongst monsters, you’re bound to find ardent desire.
R.J. Lloyd started off as a romance writer under another pen name. However, R.J. is the side of this award winning, best selling author that delves into fantasy, sci-fi, supernatural, paranormal and all things action and spooky that she loves so much.
A Detroit area based author, R.J. writes both novels and short stories, always looking for the next interesting and slightly off kilter character to follow on an adventure with.
I can’t do it. This is horribly narrated by the woman narrator.
This…… is….. how she…… narrates…. Her portion…..
The male narrator was ok. Not good but not as bad as Miss awkward pauses between every single word. This is a short book, there’s no reason to put myself thru that.
It sucks because I have been enjoying this short series so far. Never had an issue with the chosen narrators before today. :(
Edith is such a brat and Min-Jun has had a thing for her since... Forever but.. She's his best friends sister. You know how the story goes. But fate has other ideas. There's suspense and intrigue and list and all that you need in shorter story. This is such a fun read. There's spice and fun banter all around. I loved every second of it. Can't fight true love! I wish it lasted longer!
