This was my first Virginia Wade book. I'm not sure what her other books are like though I have an inkling from the titles, but I absolutely adored this book. It was very different from what's out there so that immediately drew me. I'm a big Spartacus fan & the book reminded me of the show in a lot of ways. I got a very good picture of the world. It was very interesting I loved the characters. I'm normally not a big first-person POV fan but with this book it didn't bother me in the least. It was very hot in a lot of different ways but that also kept my interest. I can only hope that Ms. Wade has other books in this genre it was awesome! Everyone should check it out! I truly loved it!
