This was incredible. Dr Mark Cross is a thoughtful writer, a critical and reflective professional, and brings a needed honesty to the growing conversations around mental health in Australia. The current state of psychiatry in NSW prompted this read and I am glad for it. As a social worker, I often hold a different perspective to psychiatrists. I am pleased to know that I overwhelmingly aligned with Dr Cross’s hopes, dreams, and blunt takes. A must read!
