Photographer Ken Murphy lives and works in Bay St. Louis, MS. He has just published his 3rd book, Mississippi: State of Blues. In 2001 he published My South Coast Home. The book documented much of what was lost in Hurricane Katrina. His next photography book, Mississippi, was published in 2007 and has been called "the best coffee table book ever done about the state of Mississippi. He has worked 3 years in collaboration with blues scholar Scott Barretta to produce this latest book - a commentary on the state of the blues in the state of blues. "
