Susan lives out on the Canadian west coast surrounded by open water, dear family and good friends. She’s jumped out of perfectly good airplanes on purpose and accidentally swum with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef. If the world ends, she plans to survive as the spunky, comedic sidekick to the heroes of the new world, because she’s too damned short and out of shape to make it on her own for long.

Writing is her joy, her escape from reality and the only way she knows of to quiet the nagging harridan of a muse the universe assigned to her.

A quick and entertaining 90+ page read about human women who crash land and on what they think is an uninhabited planet.

Loris is an older human woman who has been the personal bodyguard for Maddison for over 10 years. When the Harvest Bounty, Maddison’s matchmaking space cruise ship is attacked by a planet’s defense system Loris, Maddison and Joy leave the space ship in an escape pod. Three local fa’rel males come across Joy, Maddison and Loris.

Vengeance is a furry, fanged and horned alien male with plenty of cocky and flirtatious attitude. He scents Loris is his, and is determined to claim her quickly. He and his clan-brothers are excited at the prospects of meeting females for the first time.

It was interesting how quickly the women accepted the alien men as safe, but they still fussed and tried to maintain their independence and weren’t willing to just go along with the alien male’s plans.

Some instant sizzling attraction, drama/suspense on when anyone would follow the distress beacon the women had turned on and plenty of action in this quick read.

If you’re looking for a entertaining story with a little spice, then this book will satisfy that wish. The Crashed and Claimed series follows a group of aliens called the fa’rel that were abandoned on a hostile planet filled with predators both large and small. Good thing the fa’rel were created to be strong protectors and deadly warriors. Vengeance is the sixth fa’rel to run to the rescue and then find his mate among the survivors of the Bountiful Harvest, the spacecraft that crashed to their planet. Loris is a slightly older veteran bodyguard that believes she’s past her prime years to find romance. Cue the heated looks, spirited temper and fierce possessiveness—she’s met her match!

Marked for Vengeance is #6 in the Crashed and Claimed series. Although the rest of the series is similarly enjoyable, it is not necessary to read the other books in order to follow along with this story. This is a nice light read, perfect for a evening’s diversion. Review based on an advance review copy provided by the author.

Loved revisiting the Fer’el and their mates…

The diversity in these strong women adds so much to the sci-fi alien stories. And Loris is very much my kind of gal, a little older and a little bigger than the women looking for husbands on the Bountiful Harvest. As a former mercenary Loris was perfect as a body guard for the woman who now owns the cruise space ship. Not looking for a husband when Vengeance and his friends find her shuttle she can’t believe he could be interested in her, wrong assumption. It perhaps would help to have read previous episodes in this series, but the world building is still very good and the strange creatures they encounter add depth to the love at first site sexy tale.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that the FMC is just slightly older. Loris is not looking for love and she just wants to do her job, which is to protect the owner of the crashed ship. She is a strong, clever and brave woman who is blindsided when Vengeance tells her she is his. He and his brothers are genetically engineered aliens who, for all their strength and above average physical skills, also know how to treat their fated mates. Although they are a little high-handed... I was entertained by the humour, the spiciness, the action, the adventure, and some cool characters and dangerous creatures on the planet. This is another Susan Hayes book I would highly recommend.

Loved

This is the 6th book in the Crashed and Claimed series by Susan Hayes. I always pre order all books by Susan Hayes and was excited when I saw it download on my Kindle. This book follows Loris who is the body guard of the owner of the ship, Bountiful Harvest. When the ship is fired upon and going down she and a few others escape in a shuttle and crash land on the planet that Vengeance and his “brothers“ live on. When Vengeance and a few of his brothers find them he realizes immediately that she is his mate. What follows is a fun exciting adventure! They have immediate chemistry and tons of great banter. I enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next in the series!

Short And Funny
A short story as a part of a series, but also okay to read standalone. There is enough information about what happened in the earlier books to follow the story along.
Male aliens, made in a lab, but no cyborgs and a space ship full of human women who want to be mated to an alien, that crashed on the same planet.
An older FMC, bodyguard to the owner of the space ship, quite unexpectedly meets this wonderful, funny, sweet and strong MMC and finds love. With a track through the jungle with big predators and hostiles for some action and steamy lovemaking. Recommended.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

This book had me on the edge of my seat. This is a fast-paced alien romance and I loved every single chapter of it. Lorin meets an alien, who’s very possessive of her and thinks that she needs him. But she only wants and needs to do her job.

He wore her out and she started wondering maybe he’s right after all, and they should be together. I loved their chemistry and passion. They are both very good for each other.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a sci-fi, fated mates, an alien romance then you’re going to love it.

LOVED this book and did not put it down! Loris is a kick tail bodyguard and more. She is also an older female who thinks her time for love has passed so she buries herself in her duties. Then the event happened which left her and others stranded. Vengeance and his brothers are looking for more survivors, more females who will hopefully become mates. Some times things happen for a reason. From the moment Loris and Vengeance see each other their path is set. They are mates and drawn to each other. There is danger both from the planet and from what seeks to destroy fa'rel.

A great addition to the series. Lores is Maddison's bodyguard and had been with her for years. When Madison 's marriage contract ends, her ex gives her a matchmaking cruise service as payment. As they start to figure out the business, the ship is shot down and they escape in a pod. After landing some humanoid looking guys come out of the forest. Vengeance and his brothers were created in a lab and they ended up on a desserted planet. When they see the escape pods, they go to investigate and find the women. The journey begins. I read an arc of this book and this is my review.

Wow! Surviving a crash and meeting a big amazing guy who is enthralled with you? You can’t beat that! I’m thrilled that Loris finds someone just right for her. I adore Vengeance! He has no doubt which woman is meant for him, her age and physical appearance don’t matter. This book is packed with action and heat for your reading pleasure. Enjoy!

I adored this read! Not many authors pen a book with an older heroine…Susan, you knocked this one out of the park! If you haven’t read any previous books in this series you should but you don’t have to because a lot of backstory is carefully woven into this prose. Loris is the perfect mate to Vengence. The romance is hot and the story flows smoothly. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fated Mates - my favorite trope. This short story is packed with amazing characters and descriptions of the planet. Loris just wants to do her job, finding someone just for her at her age was not expected. And then she gives us Vengeance, he knows what he wants.
Susan has created Loris, an older FMC, which I really appreciate as an older reader. Someone I can relate to a bit. A great story that I could hardly put down. Fast paced and easy to read. Enjoy.

Tell Me You’re Mine

When Loris and two other women escape their ship that is about to crash, they land on an unknown planet where they meet three alien males. One of them is Vengeance who knows immediately that Loris is his mate. He is cocky and built like a linebacker. Loris is just as annoyed by this alien male as she is attracted. They embark on a dangerous journey to his home all the while falling in love and lust. It was a quick read, hot and spicy!

This is another really fun addition to the series and I loved seeing Lorin get a wonderful HEA. She may be a bodyguard, older, and bigger than the other gals, but she's amazing to Vengeance. He knows she's it for him but it takes work, and patience, to wear her down to seeing his point of view ;) This is a fast-paced fated-mates romance that has adventure, action, danger, suspense, humour and hot romance as they work towards that happy ending. I love how this one unfolded :D

Love this series

Another great story by an amazing author. Venge and Lorris are made for each other. They have an adventure getting from the crashed shuttle she was on to the compound where Venue lives. Along the way they fall in love, have to fight and name a new creature and learn about each other. I will wait impatiently for another book in this series.

I highly recommend that you read this series and anything that this amazingly author has written.

This is the sixth book in this series. I’ve been hooked since book1. The story line behind the series is very dynamic and different. Put that together with appealing characters and hot romances and you have a recipe for a successful novel every time. I can’t wait for the next one.

Warriors Joined

Vengeance knows the moment he scents Loris at their crash sight she is his but she takes a little convincing once they split from the others for safety. But ad they make their trek back to the far'el makeshift village she finds herself falling hard in this fun tale.

This is the 6th book in this series, and this is Loris and Vengeance’s story.
This is an easy and quick read, with action intrigue, humor, danger, fated mates, emotions, and love, which lead to an enjoyable sci-fi romance.

I liked Loris, usually when a character is older, there is too much focus on their age. Loris is a fierce woman, previously a mercenary she now works as a bodyguard. She feels she is too old to find someone, but Vengeance feels she is perfect for him. Age and appearance doesn't change his mind.

I loved the characters in this book. An over the hill human bodyguard, meets her horned Alien Mate. In this adventure steamy romp, which is a delicious short read. A great bedtime read I highly suggest.

A May-December relationship, a cougar woman and a studly alien. If it weren't for the run in with a never seen before monster, this story would have been nothing to write home about. I think it's mostly to set up the next story.
